Travel to Chiang Mai, stay in Lanna style, sip tea and enjoy the scenery at Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa.

Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa is a Lanna-style accommodation that perfectly reflects the charm of the Lanna region. Conveniently located in the heart of Chiang Mai, it offers a delightful blend of amenities and diverse activities, making it a place where visitors may find it hard to leave. In this review, we will take you on a journey to explore Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa from every impressive perspective.

For those visiting for the first time, it might be surprising to discover that Siripanna is even more expansive than anticipated. With a vast area spanning several acres, it serves as the backdrop for the hotel-style accommodations, private villas, two swimming pools, dining areas, and multiple rice paddies. The lobby is elegantly adorned with teak wood and golden accents, showcasing a distinctive style that unmistakably embodies the charm of Lanna Chiang Mai.

The activities here offer a variety, especially for food enthusiasts. If you arrive in the afternoon, don’t miss out on the dim sum buffet priced at just 239 Baht per person net at the Saliwansyan Restaurant. This price includes beverages and desserts. It’s incredibly worth it; the quality and taste surpass the price by far. Our favorite dishes are the shrimp dumplings, hagao, rad na noodles, and egg noodles. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for those who appreciate high-quality food at an affordable price.

After enjoying a satisfying meal, we decided to take a leisurely stroll and explore the rice fields. It was a delightful experience, especially as we had the opportunity to witness various stages of rice cultivation, including plowing the fields, planting seedlings, and harvesting, depending on the season. The guests staying at the resort even have the chance to try their hand at rice planting (additional charges may apply). The area boasts ancient Lanna-style granaries that are well-preserved and carefully maintained, adding to the charm of the surroundings.

You can indeed order Afternoon Tea to be enjoyed in your room, or if you prefer, you can opt to have it under the traditional Lanna-style granary while enjoying the view of the rice fields. The delightful set typically includes pastries, cakes, and a selection of hot and cold beverages. The delicious treats are presented with care, providing a delightful experience whether you choose to savor them in the comfort of your room or amidst the scenic beauty of the rice fields.

Your accommodation is a Deluxe Lanna Plunge Pool Access room, exquisitely decorated in the Lanna style. The interior lighting is designed to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere, providing a sense of tranquility. This room comes with a terrace that seamlessly connects to a plunge pool. With just a few steps outside your room, you can enjoy a refreshing swim. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, adding to the luxurious features of the room.

If you desire a room with a beautiful view of pristine, clean, and bright white tones, I would recommend the Deluxe Gallery room. This accommodation is situated in the building at the back, requiring a short walk from the main facilities. However, the upside is that it offers a refreshing and eye-pleasing view, making it a comfortable and pleasant choice.

The Royal Lanna Villa is a villa-style accommodation set in a tranquil and private garden. The interior is thoughtfully designed with clear delineation of living spaces. It encompasses a private garden area, a relaxation pavilion, a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom featuring a centrally placed round bathtub. This setup provides a perfect blend of privacy and luxury, making your stay comfortable and serene.

The atmosphere of the hotel is pleasantly shaded and cool, despite the potentially hot weather. Overall, the surroundings are refreshing, thanks to the lush greenery and trees planted throughout the area. Even in warm weather, the ambiance remains comfortable, offering a cool and inviting environment for guests to enjoy.

The hotel features two main swimming pools, with one located near the villa zone. The pool you described has a magical ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery and strategically designed to provide privacy. It resembles a lagoon-style pool, offering both Jacuzzi zones and shallow areas for children, creating a serene and enjoyable atmosphere for guests walking by or taking a dip.

Another pool, situated close to the SLoft building, is slightly smaller. This pool area offers games for guests to enjoy, especially in the lobby area. During the evening, this pool is adorned with colorful lights, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms in this building focus on a modern and trendy style, incorporating a touch of loft design for a chic and contemporary feel.

The Saliwansyan Restaurant is an all-day dining venue with a luxurious and elegant atmosphere, although the prices are reasonable. The flavors are delicious. For breakfast, they offer a buffet line featuring popular Northern Thai dishes such as Northern-style omelets with fermented pork, young chili dip, grilled pork belly, pickled bamboo shoots, and rice porridge. In addition, there are also lines serving Central Thai and Western dishes.

Luxurious, affordable, and truly existent at Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa.

This trip to Chiang Mai has an appointment at Maladee Rendevouz Hotel Chiang Mai.

The newly opened accommodation in the heart of Chiang Mai, near the Ping River, cultural attractions, walking streets, and a plethora of renowned restaurants and cafes, will undoubtedly elevate everyone’s Chiang Mai trip. The Maladee Rendevouz Hotel is designed with a contemporary style, blending vintage charm and modern trends into a distinctive identity. It is another Chiang Mai accommodation that is truly worth considering and reserving.

Maladee Rendevouz is a small luxury hotel offering 34 rooms, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed stay without overcrowding. Guests can enjoy the spacious and well-designed facilities of the hotel in a laid-back atmosphere. The lobby, for example, is expansive and bright, with a staircase that boasts a unique design, making it a perfect photo spot. In addition to serving as a lobby, this area also doubles as a small museum, collecting rare and interesting vintage items. Among them are old printing presses and equipment related to writing and printing, evoking nostalgia for the childhood memories of many visitors.

Walking further into the hotel, at its very center lies a captivating elongated swimming pool that catches the eye. The generously sized, round-shaped Jacuzzi pool is a focal point that unmistakably signifies the arrival at Maladee Rendevouz. This inviting feature is not to be missed – a warm Jacuzzi bath that provides relaxation and promotes good blood circulation, ensuring a truly indulgent experience for guests.

The Superior Room is the entry-level accommodation type that provides a spacious and comfortable living space. With an area of 45 square meters, it offers ample room for relaxation. The room is equipped with a bathtub and is tastefully decorated in warm and soothing tones of blue, white, and cream, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests to unwind.

The Deluxe Pool Access room is our favorite, and it’s a popular choice that many would likely agree with. This room features a special attribute – a balcony that seamlessly connects to the swimming pool. Located in a tranquil zone, opening the balcony door reveals a small garden and a narrow path leading to the pool. The feeling of stepping onto the balcony and directly into the water, crossing a bridge, and reaching the heart of the main swimming pool, then continuing to the round Jacuzzi pool, creates a sense of relaxation and freedom that is truly indescribable.

This bridge is also a beautiful photo spot.

The Dara Suite is a spacious accommodation, measuring 67 square meters. It features separate areas for the bedroom, a TV lounge, a bathroom, and a balcony. The suite includes a large, round-shaped bathtub that invites relaxation and makes it tempting to linger and enjoy without wanting to leave.

The dining options offer a diverse and delectable menu that can be enjoyed at the Rasa Malee Restaurant. The green-themed, pasta-style cafe is chic, trendy, and follows a vintage, chic style. The prices are reasonable, the appearance of the dishes is appetizing, and the quality of both the food and service reflects the hotel’s style.

Tiger Bar, the poolside bar, offers a playful and vibrant atmosphere with refreshing drinks. If you order one glass, it magically multiplies to become two, and then three glasses.

The hotel provides fitness facilities, so you can stay committed to your exercise routine and not miss the chance to burn calories.

อาหารเช้าเป็น a la carte เมนู เสิร์ฟมาน่าทาน กาแฟก็ดีมากด้วย

Relax in a luxurious villa amidst lush green rice fields, surrounded by mountains at Thanyathara Resort, Chiang Mai.

Thantara Resort Chiang Mai perfectly captures the essence of Chiang Mai, offering a complete experience as a cultural, natural, and relaxing destination. The resort blends seamlessly with its surroundings, featuring luxurious villas nestled in the heart of organic rice fields, alongside a tranquil pool, and surrounded by mountains. With a variety of activities available, Thantara Resort Chiang Mai provides a holistic lifestyle retreat, embracing the concept of “Eat Well, Live Well.” Once you stay here, you’ll wish to remain within the hotel grounds, not wanting to venture anywhere else.

Thantara Resort Chiang Mai is situated in the Sansai Kamphaeng district, approximately 20 minutes away from the city center. It offers a resort-style accommodation set amidst the natural beauty of Chiang Mai. The resort spans several acres and includes a variety of amenities such as pool villas, lobby, restaurants, cafes, organic rice fields, rice mill, swimming pool, organic vegetable garden, ancient temple, and expansive relaxation areas suitable for biking or jogging. Additionally, guests are welcome to use scooters or golf carts for recreational purposes. It can be considered as a new kingdom of relaxation in Chiang Mai.

The pool villa we stayed in is the “Sanctuary Villa,” offering views of the rice fields and a private pool. The room includes amenities such as a walk-in closet, complimentary minibar, and wide windows that extend from the floor to the ceiling, allowing us to enjoy the unobstructed views of the rice fields and private pool. It’s the kind of villa that one night is not enough. After staying here, you wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I recommend a minimum of 2 nights for a truly delightful experience. Spend one night enjoying the villa to the fullest – swimming, soaking in the tub, reading a book, or lounging on the soft bed. You can also order food to be served in the villa from Thann Restaurant. The other night, you can have fun with the various activities offered by the resort, which are quite diverse.

The first activity that we enjoyed immensely was the afternoon tea, set amidst the scenic backdrop of the swimming pool and the rice fields. The delicious pastries complemented the picturesque view perfectly.

In the late afternoon, when the shade and cool breeze set in, I highly recommend cycling. Bicycles are conveniently available in front of every villa at no extra cost. For those seeking a more exciting experience, there are golf carts and scooters ready nearby. It’s truly enjoyable and exhilarating, especially when the wind gently touches your face. During the breezy moments, riding a golf cart through the rice fields is both enjoyable and soothing. If you wish to explore further, you can contact the lobby, and they provide this service with additional charges. Additionally, there’s an activity involving rice planting. I appreciate the fact that they provide a bathroom for refreshing and washing up after the activity.

It’s a fun and informative experience to learn that cultivating rice in a full field is quite challenging. The farmers must bend and stoop for extended periods, leading to back discomfort. The rice grown here is organic, and the resort produces its own aromatic and soft rice. It’s a recommended product that you can purchase and take home.

Furthermore, the resort places great emphasis on sustainability, environmental friendliness, and community involvement. They have small vegetable plots that yield produce used within the resort. There’s also a chicken farm for egg production.

During the turn-down service, aside from the delicious almond cookies and the crisply made bed, they also provide a set of traditional Northern Thai pajamas for you to wear. These pajamas are incredibly comfortable, and I found myself wearing them throughout the day. If you’re fortunate enough to stay here, you’ll be captivated by this historical site, which was originally an ancient temple. The owners have beautifully restored it into Wat Tham Chai, a place for morning merit-making and almsgiving. In the morning, you can participate in the almsgiving ceremony at this location. The resort can arrange for offerings and ceremonial items for you to partake in the merit-making rituals.

When it comes to dining, Thantara Resort in Chiang Mai certainly doesn’t disappoint. In the evening, we had our meal at Thann Restaurant, where we could enjoy the surrounding views of the resort. The atmosphere was particularly enchanting as the sun was setting. The Thai fusion cuisine offered at the restaurant was exceptional, with every dish recommended by the chef proving to be delicious.

Breakfast is served at Thann Restaurant as usual, with an à la carte menu. The variety of dishes served is unlimited, allowing you to enjoy both savory and sweet options continuously.

Ending the day with the evening lights reflecting the luxurious and splendid atmosphere of Thantara Resort in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai in the most classic location, The Chiang Mai Old Town.

The Chiang Mai Old Town makes us fall in love with Chiang Mai even more. This trip is incredibly convenient, offering luxury at an affordable price that you can grasp. What we love about The Chiang Mai Old Town, besides being the heart of Chiang Mai, is the abundance of details that make you feel genuinely cared for as a guest through heartfelt hospitality.

The guest care at The Chiang Mai Old Town is impressive right from the moment you arrive. You can conveniently park in front of the hotel, and the parking area is not only right by the road but also safe. The lobby is close by, and what’s particularly noteworthy is the welcome drink and various snacks available throughout the day. There’s a cozy lounge where you can relax, enjoy coffee, read a book, or even wait for your flight if you’ve already checked out. It truly enhances the overall experience.

The Chiang Mai Old Town, along with the unmentioned aspects, is the best central location in Chiang Mai. The accommodation is situated near a road that provides easy access to Tha Pae Walking Street. Additionally, both Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang are in close proximity. If you plan to organize a temple-hopping trip, you can cover all these temples in a short amount of time. For those who enjoy indulging in delicious food and prefer a slow travel experience, the area offers a wide selection of restaurants and coffee shops. If you don’t want to venture too far, The Vorra Bistro, the hotel’s cafe, is a cozy option. Upon entering The Vorra Bistro, you’ll be captivated by its appealing ambiance. The bistro serves a variety of coffee beverages and, in the evening, offers a diverse fusion-style menu at surprisingly reasonable prices. Passing travelers might initially think it’s expensive, but upon exploring the menu, they may find some reasonably priced options. Besides the appealing presentation, the dishes are also delicious. The seating options include luxurious indoor spaces or comfortable outdoor areas.

Today, we had an authentic Italian-style meal that was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. Such prices are certainly hard to come by in Bangkok. The ingredients used and the atmosphere were outstanding. It all began with freshly baked bread served as an appetizer. The warm and fragrant bread was paired with butter while waiting for the main courses. Shortly after, a delightful truffle soup was served, beautifully presented with a rich truffle aroma. The soup featured truffle-infused ingredients in a light, thin pastry, creating a delightful pairing. Truffle enthusiasts would surely not want to miss this. Following that, we enjoyed a burst of flavors with the tuna tarta, which had just the right amount of spiciness, leaving a refreshing taste. The main dishes, Coq Au Vin and Poached Black Cod, were equally delicious. As for desserts, the highlight was the exceptionally tasty Pistachio Tiramisu and Amenovil. The entire dining experience was a delightful journey through authentic Italian flavors.

The Chiang Mai Old Town offers a variety of room types, with a total of 5 options. The room type you stayed in is a Deluxe King, which is elegantly decorated in a contemporary style. Warm and rich tones create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, providing a luxurious and comfortable space to relax. The room is spacious, covering 40 square meters, and features a soft sofa for TV watching, perfect for those relaxing moments. The bed, with premium bedding, offers such comfort that you may unintentionally doze off. The generously sized bathroom adds to the overall comfort, ensuring a pleasant experience. Additionally, each room comes with a balcony, allowing guests to enjoy the surroundings.

The Deluxe Twin or King with Bathtub is decorated similarly to the Deluxe King room. If anyone desires a balcony and a bathtub, this room type is the one to choose. It offers an added space of 50 square meters, ensuring convenience and comfort with all the amenities provided.

The highest-tier room type at The Chiang Mai Old Town is The Heritage House Suite with Balcony, which is located in a traditional wooden house. This suite has been newly renovated into a luxurious accommodation while preserving its original classic charm. The room, spanning 60 square meters, combines the timeless elegance of the past with modern updates, offering an even more relaxing and comfortable stay.

The hotel amenities include a centrally located swimming pool, offering views of rice fields and a simulated staircase. At times, it evokes thoughts of Japan. Additionally, there is a fitness center and spa available.

The Vorra Spa offers an excellent massage experience to the point where one hour feels insufficient. The massage is skillfully executed, and the spa ambiance is serene. It’s a compact-sized spa with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. After the massage, they provide delicious mango sticky rice, which adds to the overall delightful experience.

The breakfast served at The Vorra Bistro is an à la carte menu that allows unlimited choices. Every dish is freshly prepared, using high-quality ingredients. We were impressed by the Provence-style breakfast menu, a unique offering not seen in any other hotel before. The roasted eggplant with cheese was exceptionally delicious, with a thin layer of crepe wrapping tightly around a rich filling of cheese, mushrooms, and spinach, creating a harmonious and flavorful combination. Additionally, there was a Northern-style omelet, served in small and enticing portions, featuring Hang Lay curry, clear chili dip, grilled pork, boiled vegetables, and a set of bread and fruits for each table.

Ended the Chiang Mai trip with a satisfied belly and gained a plethora of additional photos. Personally, I think The Chiang Mai Old Town is suitable for those who want to explore the heart of Chiang Mai, close to popular attractions and renowned restaurants. It offers a trendy and chill atmosphere at an affordable price. The new accommodation is clean, and the facilities include a swimming pool, fitness center, and spa. It’s safe to say it’s great value for the money.

Going to Pattaya is always fun. A review of a blissful stay at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya.

Wanting to break free from the stress and boredom of the routine life that feels monotonous and draining. With the upcoming weekend, I’m planning a trip to Pattaya. Even with just 2 days, it’s enough to change the mood and release the stress. Ready to go and unwind, laughing and enjoying the fun in the midst of Pattaya – eating, drinking, partying, and relaxing in the ‘work hard, play harder’ style at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya.

Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya has a distinct concept that offers guests a chance to indulge in delicious cuisine, enjoy live music, sip drinks while admiring the Pattaya city view, and have a glamorous party experience at the Sky Bar. Guests here can immerse themselves in the concept of Pattaya, a city known for never sleeping. However, being a place of accommodation, Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya also prioritizes the relaxation aspect. Despite its central and vibrant location in the city, the hotel rooms are soundproof, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed stay for guests.

Upon arriving, you can immediately feel the vibrant energy and lively atmosphere, creating a buzz with its lively colors and innovative design. The creatively designed spaces ignite inspiration and excitement, making your day full of activities. The experience begins with the eye-catching newly opened On The Road Café, a comfortable spot with eye-catching and vibrant colors that are truly Instagram-worthy. The food is not only delicious but also served from 08:00 to 22:00, ensuring a delightful dining experience throughout the day.

And here are our recommended menus… The beef is incredibly delicious, truly exceptional. You can specify how you want your beef cooked; ours is medium, perfectly done. It pairs wonderfully with our special seafood dipping sauce and freshly baked buttery bread. Don’t miss out on this! In addition, we offer a diverse range of fusion-style dishes, including salmon, salads, and desserts, providing a variety of options for every palate.

As for the recommended beverages… our Raspberry Coffee is another excellent choice. It’s refreshing and perfect for cooling down, providing a delightful and invigorating experience.

With Siam@Siam being a high-rise accommodation, our Junior Corner Ocean View room offers a wide and far-reaching view of the Pattaya sea. Enjoy panoramic ocean views from the bed, sofa bed, bathroom, and practically every corner of the bedroom. One of the highlights of staying in this room is the access to the club lounge, where you can indulge in afternoon tea, enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the day, take advantage of cocktail hours, and have a private breakfast in the lounge, which is exceptionally delicious.

For breakfast served in the lounge, we provide both buffet and à la carte options. You can either opt for the regular buffet line breakfast outside or choose to have a more private dining experience inside the lounge. For us, it’s a complete experience with both satisfaction and deliciousness. Especially noteworthy are the shrimp dumplings, served in small dishes but can be continuously refilled – a truly delightful option. The variety of cheeses and cold cuts is also exceptional.

The Youth Class room, though the reviewer hasn’t personally stayed, is highly recommended for those who are staying with family or as a group of three. The room is convenient and features a sea view with a balcony.

As for a budget-friendly accommodation option, the Leisure Class room is a great choice. With a size of 30 square meters, it comes with a balcony and offers both twin and double bed configurations.

The hotel boasts two swimming pools located on different floors. The first is on the rooftop, right next to the Sky Bar, providing a unique atmosphere. Both pools are infinity pools, and it’s highly recommended to experience both for a fun swimming time. In the evening, the sunset is absolutely breathtaking. Ordering a drink to enjoy the sunset view is a must. As the night falls, the bar and pool illuminate, creating a stunning city lights ambiance.

For dinner, we indulged in the dinner buffet at Big Fish Restaurant, a vibrant dining space that truly enhances the dining experience. The buffet line was so extensive that we couldn’t help but exclaim in amazement. Fresh and large-sized oysters were a standout feature, alongside options like beef, lamb, and grilled seafood. The buffet also featured a diverse range of international cuisines, including Japanese, Chinese, and Italian. Moreover, the dessert selection was abundant, offering a delightful end to the meal.

For breakfast, the variety and abundance were impressive. It felt like a complete package for a relaxing getaway – staying, dining, drinking, and recharging all in one at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya.

“Sriracha Seaside, perfect for family vacations at Centara Sonrisa Residences and Suites.

Centara Sonrisa Residences and Suites Sriracha is an accommodation that aims to bring smiles and cheerful laughter to everyone. This seaside resort, located in Sriracha, is just a 1-hour drive away from Bangkok, making it a convenient escape. After a relaxing drive, guests can unwind by enjoying the sea view, indulging in delicious seafood, and exploring nearby attractions such as Ko Loy, Ko Si Chang, and Sriracha Tiger Zoo. The hotel also offers a variety of cafes and restaurants within its vicinity for guests to choose from.

The accommodations at Centara Sonrisa Residences and Suites Sriracha consist of two adjacent buildings with interconnected structures. Guests can enjoy sea views on one side and garden views on the other, with room rates varying based on the chosen view. The highlight of the property is the well-located swimming pool that offers a spectacular view of the sea, particularly during the cool evenings or mornings. From the pool area, guests can also catch a glimpse of Ko Loy (Floating Island). While the beach here is rocky and not suitable for swimming, it compensates with stunning sea views, especially during sunset over Ko Loy. The sky often takes on a beautiful pink hue during this time.

The lobby is located at the front of the resort and serves as the check-in and relaxation area for guests before receiving their room key cards.

The starting room category is the Superior type, offering both king-size and twin beds. However, the Superior room category does not provide a sea view. The interior of the room is themed in a blue-and-white color scheme, with a nautical and contemporary style. The room is equipped with air conditioning, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere. The beds are soft and very comfortable for a restful sleep.

The Deluxe Ocean View room is highly recommended for those who visit here. This room is located at the front of the resort, with the bed facing the sea. Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean through the large, clear glass walls. The room is elevated, providing a comfortable spot to relax and gaze at the sea. The Deluxe Ocean View room has a spacious area of 43 square meters and comes with a bathtub for added luxury.

This accommodation, designed for a group of four, is the Residence Two Bedroom Suite. It offers a king-size bed and twin beds. The room with the king-size bed provides a sea view, while the twin bed area offers a view of the building. Inside the suite, you will find a bathtub, a microwave, a dining table, and a comfortable seating area for relaxation.

If you are visiting with children, the Family Residence would likely be the best choice. Kids will surely love it as the room is designed to be family-friendly. The accommodation features a king-size bed and a bunk bed with two levels, making it suitable and enjoyable for families.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a refreshing break with a cup of iced coffee at Zing Café. They serve aromatic and flavorful coffee along with delicious pastries. A recommended menu item is the Ice Orange Honey Americano.

An activity you wouldn’t want to miss is the dinner during sunset at the SkyDesk restaurant. This rooftop dining venue provides an excellent view without any obstructing buildings, offering a panoramic seascape. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable, making it a must-try experience.

After finishing your meal, don’t miss the opportunity to catch a movie. You can enjoy popcorn while watching the film, adding an extra layer of entertainment to your experience.

Spa Cenvaree is a brand that I really like. The atmosphere is excellent, and the massages are of high quality. Moreover, the prices are reasonable. It’s great to know that they also offer onsen services here.

Centara Sonrisa Residences and Suites Sriracha is indeed considered a family-friendly hotel. If you stay during the weekends or holidays, there are activities for the kids such as pizza making and foam parties. Additionally, the hotel offers a Kids Club, VR activities, and a variety of children’s toys to ensure an enjoyable experience for the little ones.

Breakfast at the buffet is diverse and of high quality. Enjoying it while overlooking the sea adds to the experience. After this trip, it sounds like you would love to come back for more.

Review: Anantara Chiang Mai Resort – Luxurious Classic in the Heart of Lanna

There are only a few accommodations along the Ping River that maintain both luxury and classic charm consistently throughout the year. Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is one such establishment, combining timeless elegance with 5-star service. It’s certain that bookings for this accommodation, which falls under the prestigious Anantara brand, tend to fill up quickly, especially during the high season, particularly as winter approaches.

The decoration of Anantara Chiang Mai Resort focuses on spaciousness, blending seamlessly with nature. The lobby is open and provides a panoramic view of the lush garden and the colonial-style building, which was once the British Consulate. The lobby area, serving as one of the hotel’s most beautiful spots, features a sophisticated contemporary design with a touch of Lanna identity. Surrounding the seating area are bubbling fountains, creating a serene atmosphere that enhances the pleasure of enjoying the welcome drink.

Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is divided into two zones: the Riverside zone and the Residence zone, each offering unique advantages. Let’s start with the Riverside zone. In this section, rooms are situated along the riverbank, providing stunning river views. The rooms feature spacious balconies with daybeds. Among the popular choices is the Deluxe River View room, boasting a comfortable size of 50 square meters and equipped with a room control system from the bedside, including electric curtains. We appreciate the clear view of the Ping River from the room, and the presence of a bathtub adds to the overall appeal of the accommodation. These rooms are often in high demand and tend to be fully booked, offering a delightful riverside experience.

The Kasara Suite Garden View is also located in the Riverside zone, offering a well-designed space with a functional layout. The room size is a generous 105 square meters, and the interior is bright and airy thanks to large sliding glass windows. While this suite does not provide a river view, it compensates with a splendid view of the lush and serene gardens, which are iconic to Anantara Chiang Mai Resort. Inside the suite, you’ll find a range of amenities, including a plush bed, a comfortable sofa, a dining table, a coffee maker, a bathtub, a Rain Shower, and a relaxing balcony. This suite offers a perfect combination of comfort and scenic beauty, showcasing the resort’s distinctive garden landscape.

For the Residence zone, it is situated on the opposite side of the hotel, connected by a convenient bridge that eliminates the need to cross the road. Guests staying in the Residence zone have access to all the facilities on the Riverside side. Simultaneously, the Residence zone itself offers a full range of amenities, including its own lobby, swimming pool, and pool bar. This setup allows guests to enjoy the best of both worlds, making use of the facilities on the Riverside side while also benefiting from the exclusive amenities provided on the Residence side.

The Residence zone rooms are well-suited for family vacations or long-term stays as they come equipped with comprehensive amenities. It feels like staying in a luxurious home, complete with a kitchen counter, dining table, dishwashing sink, microwave, coffee maker, and notably, a washing machine. In the case of the Two Bedroom Suite, it includes two bedrooms, a living room, and a master bathroom with a bathtub. Additionally, even the smaller bedrooms have their own attached bathrooms, providing both convenience and privacy for guests during their stay.

During the period from 14:00 to 18:00, Anantara Chiang Mai serves its renowned Afternoon Tea, an activity that is not to be missed. The Afternoon Tea at Anantara Chiang Mai is highly acclaimed for the quality of pastries, their flavors, and presentation, and it comes at an attractive price of 990 Baht for two persons. This includes a choice of two hot or cold beverages per person. Upon arrival, you won’t be disappointed with the Afternoon Tea served amidst the classic ambiance of The Service 1921. If you choose to sit outside, you can enjoy the tea in the garden. The pastries, especially the éclairs and scones, are delightful. As for the beverages, the new additions to the menu, Passionfruit Kombucha, and Midnight Delight with mixed berries topping and whipped cream, are noteworthy. Moreover, the service is excellent, and the staff is both friendly and charming.

Dream Trip Review… Once upon a time… Rayavadee Krabi

The beauty we perceive through photographs is only a fraction of what our eyes behold. Villa Sari, nestled intimately with nature, boasts three exquisite beaches: Phra Nang Beach, Railay Beach, and Nammao Beach. The limestone hills emerging from the emerald green sea create a memorable image. The caves, with their stalactites and stalagmites, add to the allure. The wide, finely textured sandy shores invite relaxation and play, while the natural beaches flourish with abundant beauty. The tranquility and splendor of Villa Sari make Krabi an exceptionally special retreat.

Rayavadee Resort in Krabi provides airport shuttle services. The journey from the airport to Rayavadee’s pier takes approximately 40 minutes. From there, guests can board the hotel’s boat, which takes an additional 20 minutes to reach the resort. The convenience of the travel is heightened by the hotel staff who are readily available to assist throughout the journey. They handle luggage and provide travel information, ensuring a hassle-free and enjoyable travel experience.

Upon arrival, hotel staff will warmly welcome you and provide an explanation of the hotel map. Rayavadee Resort, spanning over 60 acres, offers various dining options and numerous amenities. Additionally, there are captivating activities available, making your stay at Rayavadee an enriching experience.

At Rayavadee, you’ll experience pure and serene relaxation amid pristine nature. Each villa is uniquely crafted, surrounded by lush greenery and native plants, creating a private and tranquil atmosphere. The backdrop features towering mountains, and at times, you may catch glimpses of monkey troops or flying squirrels in the treetops. Regarding the squirrels, they are charming and generally won’t bother you much; they tend to stay within their groups and not interfere with guests. However, the monkeys can be both adorable and mischievous. If you leave items unattended, they might grab them. Remember to close the villa door before heading out to prevent any unexpected monkey visits.

The Deluxe Pavilion is an entry-level room type, but its decoration and ambiance can be described as top-notch. The two-story villa spans 90 square meters, with the lower level serving as a lounge area equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a cozy sofa set, and a plush daybed in front of the TV. This setup allows for a comfortable space where you can unwind, sip tea, and enjoy without getting bored. Moving upstairs, you’ll find the bedroom, also with an attached bathroom. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and we appreciate the attention to detail, including the soft, thick linens, a work desk, and teakwood furniture for storage. The luxurious room decor seamlessly blends with the overall atmosphere. The bathroom features his and hers basins, a separate shower, and a well-sized bathtub. All necessary facilities, including soap, shampoo, and fragrances, are provided. The room exudes a warm, relaxing, and spa-like vibe, creating a floating sensation as if you are indulging in a spa retreat.

The Rayavadee Villa is situated right on the beachfront, offering panoramic views of the sea and the iconic limestone cliffs in all their glory. This expansive villa features two bedrooms and boasts a living space of over 400 square meters. Facing the villa is a private swimming pool. The guest area seamlessly connects to the terrace for relaxation and the swimming pool, providing clear views of the sea. Additionally, this villa serves as an excellent spot for witnessing breathtaking sunsets.

The interior decor of The Rayavadee Villa follows a luxurious and contemporary style, enhanced by the spa-like atmosphere. Stepping outside, you can immerse yourself in the beach vibes that surround the villa. This ultimate luxury villa, located along a private beach, offers an unparalleled experience.

The beachfront of Phra Nang is a delightful spot for water activities, especially during the sunset on this side.

The Grotto, an iconic restaurant at Rayavadee, offers a unique dining experience amidst natural limestone formations within a cave. Simultaneously, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the signature limestone cliffs of Rayavadee. The Grotto specializes in serving Italian cuisine and seafood fusion dishes for lunch. For dinner, they offer The Grotto Twilight Dinner, and reservations with menu selection in advance are available. During the sunset period, you can sit back, enjoy drinks, and turn it into a special occasion by indulging in a delightful meal. It’s highly recommended to make reservations in advance as The Grotto is extremely popular.

However, for those who enjoy Thai cuisine, I recommend “Krua Phranang,” where you can savor authentic Thai flavors that are rich and cater to the Thai palate. The menu offers a diverse range of options, and you can enjoy your meal in a Thai-inspired atmosphere with a view of the sea. If you prefer a more intimate setting, you can simply listen to the sound of waves gently caressing the sandy beach. On the other hand, if you prefer a more vibrant atmosphere, you might get to enjoy a beautiful view.

The main swimming pool and the infinity pool at Rayavadee are both extensive and offer stunning views. The main pool is large and includes a shallow area for children. The beauty of the surroundings is so captivating that even if you’re not swimming, you can relax and enjoy the view. The area around the pool is perfect for lounging and playing, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation.

In the morning at Raya Dining, breakfast offers a variety of choices with an international buffet. Simultaneously, there is an à la carte menu available. The food is of high quality, fresh, and delicious. The à la carte options are extensive, and you can order from them throughout your meal. Importantly, there are also healthy menu choices available. The kitchen is dedicated to ensuring quality, taste, and excellent service.

Apart from water activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and kayaking, there are also rock climbing activities available in the area. You can contact the front desk if you’re interested in adventure-style activities. Moreover, there is a fascinating cave nearby that you can explore on foot from Rayavadee.

Summary of the Rayavadee Resort trip:
Impressed with the hotel itself, the location is connected to three beaches, providing privacy amidst nature. Although the hotel is not situated on an island, it successfully creates the feeling of a private island retreat.

dusitD2 Hua Hin can indeed be called a family hotel. From what we’ve observed, the Kids Club appears to be very entertaining, and children are likely to enjoy it. Moreover, there are treehouse structures in the garden for the kids to climb and play in.

The Family Terrace room at dusitD2 Hua Hin is designed for a maximum occupancy of 4 people, making it ideal for families with additional two kids. We’re going to have dinner at the rooftop tonight. We’re going to enjoy hot pot by the poolside. We’ve chosen the black shabu-shabu, served with pork, chicken, ham, and various vegetables. The black shabu-shabu is delicious. You should definitely give it a try. It’s worth it!

After finishing our meal, we can head to the Orange Bar for some delicious drinks. Right there, we can also redeem our welcome drink voucher received during check-in. The bar offers refreshing shots made from pineapple and fruits, giving a revitalizing and lively taste.

After a quick meal, let’s head over to the dessert café. We’ll indulge in a delightful dessert, ‘Saku Toon,’ topped with coconut ice cream and drizzled with creamy coconut milk. It’s incredibly delicious! The sago pearls are soft and the flavor is soothing and warm. The small amount of slightly salty coconut milk adds a perfect balance. It’s a must-try!

For breakfast, we’ll dine at the same café. The breakfast menu offers a variety of options, with a standout being the Asian dishes that are incredibly delicious. You can also choose from a selection of baked goods from the pastry kitchen, including muffins. They also serve an American Breakfast. However, our preference lies in the Asian breakfast. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the view is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoy indulging in the extensive breakfast options.

Review: SO Sofitel Hua Hin… So Chic… So Good… So Happy

SO Sofitel Hua Hin is a private beachfront accommodation that embodies the concept of completeness, encompassing So Arty for artistic design, So Nature for a nature-centric resort experience, and stylish decoration. Beyond its intriguing design philosophy, SO Sofitel Hua Hin offers a plethora of interesting activities. The service and accommodation are top-notch, reaching a 5-star level. The facilities available are extensive, providing a wide array of choices. Even a one-night stay might not be sufficient to fully utilize all the facilities. Staying at SO Sofitel Hua Hin for two days or more would be ideal for a truly satisfying experience.

SO Sofitel Hua Hin is truly an accommodation for every lifestyle and age. Fashion enthusiasts will find delight in the resort’s picture-perfect corners, capturing moments from relaxation to the time spent in the imaginative world. Beginning with the comfortable, white rabbit-shaped timekeeper welcoming you to leave the chaos of the outside world behind, you can then immerse yourself in the realm of imagination. The gently descending soft-stone staircase leads you to the open-air, spectacular lobby. At this point, the journey into the imaginative world of a leisurely stay at SO Sofitel Hua Hin begins.

Introducing the hottest photo spot at So Sofitel Huahin, this particular corner is truly captivating, and personally, I’ve never come across anything like it before. It’s a 3D photo corner that, when lit up, produces stunning images like the one shown. This spot is located near the swimming pool in the So Fit fitness and So Spa zones. Despite the hotel’s large size, finding facilities is not difficult at all. The fitness and spa zones are conveniently situated close to the lobby, and there’s a pool nestled between the fitness and spa areas. For those who are health-conscious and enjoy exercising, this spot is definitely a gem.

Another beachfront gem and signature spot at SO Sofitel Hua Hin is the colossal hand of Nang Phanthurat, emerging from the sands. It has become a must-visit spot for every guest, a signature of the resort. When staying at SO Sofitel Hua Hin, not only is the beachfront serene and tranquil, but the sand is also fine and suitable for water play, with no sharp rocks to worry about. Moreover, the iconic sight of Nang Phanthurat’s hand rising from the sand adds a unique touch, making it a spot that everyone must capture in photographs.

The One Bedroom Pool Villa is our chosen accommodation this time, featuring a private villa measuring 215 square meters. It comes with a mid-sized swimming pool and a spacious terrace for relaxation. The privacy is well-maintained with a surrounding wall, possibly made of tree fences, providing a semi-transparent appearance to outsiders. This natural fence adds a touch of freshness to the villa, creating a tropical garden atmosphere.

Inside the villa, the main functions are divided into three parts. The first part includes a TV set and a comfortable sofa for relaxation. The second part consists of the bathroom, with a bathtub, rain shower, and a walk-in closet. The third part is the bedroom, featuring high glass doors extending from the floor to the ceiling, allowing for good ventilation and a view of the swimming pool. The curtains provide ample light control when closed. The sleeping experience is comfortable, and amenities such as bath creams, shampoos, and fragrant lotions are fully provided. The mini-bar is complimentary, excluding alcoholic beverages.

The resort area is shaded with a variety of trees, both small and large. The garden and grass field are well-maintained. There are paths suitable for cycling for exercise as well.

The startled group of rabbits, frightened by Nang Phanthurat’s hand, managed to slip through the special glass and hide in various parts inside the room. Take a closer look, and you might discover that there could be a little rabbit hiding somewhere in your own room.

Have fun at SO Wonderland Adventure Golf as you assist the little wizardess Viola in breaking the enchantment by collecting 17 magical ingredients. Then, use them to brew a potion and restore life to the enchanted creatures in the magical forest, which have been turned into stone.

SO Sofitel Hua Hin offers a multitude of activities that cater to the enjoyment of every age and lifestyle.

Wibit Adventure Float is an absolute must-try – it’s incredibly enjoyable for both kids and adults alike. The floating activity base is situated on a large pool, and this zone also features a separate kids’ pool. There are various other water activities and a pool bar available in this area as well. It’s worth noting that Wibit is suitable for children aged 7 and above, and it’s advisable to use life jackets for safety.

When it comes to dining at So Sofitel Hua Hin, we highly recommend trying White Oven. This restaurant serves authentic Thai dishes with original flavors, creatively presented to bring a fresh perspective to each dish. The ambiance offers both air-conditioned seating and an open-air option by the pool, providing a distant but scenic view of the sea. The recommended dishes include the delicious Fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce, Fried Rice with Mackerel, Tom Yum Goong soup, and Deep-Fried Seabass with Fish Sauce. Additionally, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, featuring a picturesque staircase that serves as a perfect photo spot.

If you’re looking for a beachside atmosphere with good vibes, Beach So Sofitel features a Beach Society Bar and a restaurant. The Beach Society Bar serves a variety of drinks, including both classic and signature concoctions that you definitely shouldn’t miss. As for the food menu, it features a selection of Italian dishes and Tapas, creating a delightful dining experience by the sea.

The breakfast at White Oven offers a diverse selection, featuring an international buffet line. On the day of our visit, they served a mini-buffet, which wasn’t fully extensive but sufficient for a delightful meal. Staying on a regular day, hotels often serve a mini-buffet to maintain a more intimate setting with fewer guests, allowing for a pleasant dining experience. The advantage is that there are fewer people, avoiding overcrowding. The breakfast choices cater to various preferences, including options for health enthusiasts, bakery lovers, and those who enjoy Asian cuisine for breakfast, such as red noodle soup. Specialties from Phetchaburi province, such as the delicious red noodle soup with chicken, are also featured. They also serve fresh salads with a wide variety of dressings. The bakery items, especially the muffins and croissants, are exceptionally tasty.

Ending with an enchanting evening atmosphere at So Sofitel Hua Hin.
