Phuket’s weather is great these days, without any hint of rain. When the weather is nice like this, it’s a must to go to the beach. After searching for a beautiful and convenient accommodation in a lovely location, and most importantly, wanting a new hotel, with all the facilities matching the specifications comfortably, good food, and reasonable prices, I found a new hotel to recommend: GLOW Mira Karon Beach. So, let’s go!

GLOW Mira Karon Beach, is a newly opened accommodation with a total of 150 rooms, all designed in a contemporary style. If we were to liken it to a woman, it would be a woman who dresses stylishly and chicly, but once you’re with her, you feel comforted and warm, able to smile throughout the day almost effortlessly.

GLOW Mira Karon Beach is situated in a fantastic location. While it’s not directly on the beach, it’s just a short 350 meters walk away. The private Karon Beach is preferred over other beaches due to its perfect balance between stunning natural beauty and vibrant urban surroundings. It’s a beautiful beach suitable for swimming, with white sand, and it’s not overly quiet or crowded. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the beach at regular intervals, and the staff will inform you about the shuttle schedule during check-in. However, personally, we don’t find the walk to the beach tiring at all.

The rooms at GLOW Mira Karon Beach are decorated in a modern style with intricate details that reflect Phuket’s uniqueness through Sino-Portuguese art. Designed to accommodate both couples and families, this particular room is a Deluxe room measuring 24 square meters. It offers both king-size and twin beds and overlooks the swimming pool.

The Family Suite, sized at 46 square meters, is perfectly suited for accommodating 4 individuals, comprising 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old. These two rooms offer a vibrant atmosphere with lively colors interspersed in the whimsical decor, creating a fresh and spacious ambiance. They feature a comfortable king-size bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed with two levels, perfectly accommodating the party of 4. The separation between the master bedroom and the TV viewing area adds to the privacy. The rooms are equipped with a sofa for relaxation, a wardrobe, a vanity table, a television, a mini-refrigerator, and a separate shower in the bathroom. Additionally, there’s a small balcony to enjoy the view.

Let’s take a look at the amenities together. The main swimming pool is accompanied by a pool bar, which adds to the ultimate relaxation experience. You can lounge by the poolside, sip on refreshing drinks, read a book, or even play with your phone. What a nice holiday indeed!

Chen’s Restaurant, the hotel’s dining venue, is open all day, serving Thai fusion cuisine. A must-try dish is the Tom Kha Gai (coconut soup with chicken) and sticky rice with mango. You should definitely try out various dishes as the chef prepares delicious meals with quality ingredients. The service is delightful. Enjoy your midday meal there!

For nighttime entertainment, I recommend heading to the Roof Top Bar, specifically the Halo Roof Top Bar. It’s a stylish and sophisticated bar blending rustic charm with cool modernity. They serve excellent drinks along with delicious snacks, which are satisfying yet not too heavy. They offer both Thai and international cuisine, providing a diverse dining experience.

Breakfast is also available at Chen’s Restaurant, with a complete lineup of dishes. Here, you’ll find a variety of options including Thai and Western cuisine, crispy fresh salads, assorted pastries, and an egg station where you can order eggs cooked to your preference such as scrambled, fried, omelette, or Benedict style.

I want to relax comfortably, so I’m thinking of trying out a spa. Mira Boutique offers a variety of services including Thai massage, oil massage, and nail services. Based on recommendations, I’m particularly interested in trying the oil massage. I heard they provide excellent massages. The spa atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

Other services include a kid’s club, and nearby, there’s also a pool table. Both kids and adults can have fun together.

GLOW Mira Karon Beach is another resort perfect for families or couples. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay with all the amenities you need at a reasonable price, then this is the place to be.

Traveling to the mountains near Bangkok, there’s nowhere better than Khao Yai. If you’re looking for stunning mountain views and a tranquil atmosphere that feels like a private retreat, you’ll love Monté Vista Chalet. Here, you can relax comfortably amidst a warm ambiance, surrounded by the natural beauty of the hills at every turn. Even from the bedrooms, you can enjoy mountain views.

Monté Vista Chalet is situated on a high hill, offering unobstructed panoramic views. The main building serves as the lobby, and the accommodation is perfect for family gatherings or groups of friends seeking high privacy. You can book the entire villa with 6 bedrooms, accommodating groups of up to 12 people, providing a homely atmosphere with amenities including a swimming pool and your own kitchen.

If you’re traveling as a couple and want a room with a mountain view, you can also book separately. I recommend the One Bedroom Suite. It’s located on the same level as the main pool of the main building, where we also stayed. The view is absolutely stunning, and you can enjoy lying on the bed while gazing at the mountains. It’s just a short walk to the pool from the room. We loved this room for its comfortable bed and comprehensive amenities.

Highlight-wise, I think you’ll absolutely love this view, just like we did.

The atmosphere is cozy, and there are plenty of picturesque spots for photography.

For those who have a moderately sized group, around 8 people, booking the Grand Villa would be worthwhile. With 4 bedrooms, it’s a spacious villa with equally stunning views comparable to the main building. It comes with a private swimming pool, a pool table, a kitchen, and a dining area with beautiful views. The decoration is luxurious and inviting, perfect for relaxation.

The bedrooms in the Grand Villa are all decorated in the same style and differ mainly in size.

Since the sunset is nearing, I recommend not going out for dinner. The resort atmosphere is exceptional, and you can order food directly from the resort. They can arrange a table for you to dine on the terrace, where you can enjoy the best ambiance.

The swimming pool at night is stunning in a whole different way.

They serve breakfast directly to your room, allowing you to enjoy it on the balcony of your accommodation, where you can admire the breathtaking mountain views.

End your trip on a happy note, lungs full of fresh air, and memories brimming with joy at Monté Vista Chalet.

One of Phuket’s top-tier hotels, ‘Trisara,’ is a 6-star establishment, with only a few such properties in Thailand. Our stay this time is incredibly exciting as we anticipate experiencing the magnificence of ‘Trisara’.

Trisara greets us with the freshness of various trees that adorn its vast grounds spanning over 140 acres. Each room is a villa equipped with a private pool. Getting to the main facilities of the hotel is convenient with buggy rides. The lobby welcomes us with a view of the sea.

And here is one of the most renowned spas in Phuket. Serene and private, it immerses you in the beauty of the garden and sea. The treatment rooms are private villas as well.

Our room for this trip is the Ocean View Pool Junior Suite. It’s exquisite with a comfortable bed, a private pool, and a stunning view. Everything is impressive. Relaxing on the bed, gazing at the sea, then jumping into the pool is so delightful.

They also provide complimentary homemade cookies for us to enjoy

In the morning, they serve a floating breakfast, prepared and waiting for us by the poolside. There’s nothing better than this. Sitting by the private pool, enjoying breakfast, sipping coffee, gazing ahead at the sea, and the clear blue sky.

In addition to the floating breakfast, they also offer breakfast in bed, which we chose to enjoy by the poolside.

I’d like to stay in the even more special Signature Ocean View Pool Suite. This room is similarly decorated to the previous one but differs in that it’s larger, with a bigger pool and clearer sea views. It also includes a sitting area. This room is recommended for families as it can accommodate additional beds, accommodating up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Another luxurious villa, this one featuring 2 bedrooms and a large swimming pool with a stunning sea view. It comes with a guest room, a kitchen, a bathtub, and a rain shower. We adore the decoration, which creates a lavish, warm, and relaxing atmosphere. We believe that this villa is a dream accommodation for many.

The living room faces directly towards the swimming pool and the sea. The color scheme incorporates muted tones of white, cream, and brown.

Both bedrooms are similarly decorated, maintaining the same luxurious ambiance. Each bathroom features a bathtub.

For the special dinner, we dined at The Deck restaurant, which offers fine dining by the beachside. The atmosphere was breathtaking, especially with the sunset. This beach is abundant with hermit crabs; we saw many of them while strolling along the shore. As we approached them, they quickly retreated into their shells. But as we backed away, they came out and continued their stroll. They were so adorable.

During the sunset hours, the signature drink at Trisara Phuket is the ‘Phuket Propaganda.’ This drink is excellent and highly recommended. Even if you’re not staying here, it’s worth coming just for a drink. The ambiance is fantastic, and the drinks are superb.

Another refreshing choice is the ‘Trisara Mule.’ It’s equally delightful and recommended for a perfect sunset experience.

The ingredients are of excellent quality, combined with the chef’s skill, making this dish outstanding. The grilled shrimp with vermicelli noodles are soft and not too chewy like regular vermicelli. From serving to finishing, the noodles maintain their texture. The large and fresh river shrimp paired with the vermicelli noodles are exceptionally delicious.

The stir-fried crab meat with curry powder tastes delicious. The crab meat chunks are large.

This dish is the ultimate! The stir-fried lobster with salt and chili is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. It’s so delicious that I must order it again. The lobster itself is already fantastic, but when stir-fried with salt and chili, it becomes incredibly fragrant and flavorful. It’s not too spicy, just incredibly tasty.

“Today’s desserts are ‘Sakoo Lam Yai’ (Tapioca pearls with longan) and ‘Khao Niew Mamuang’ (Mango sticky rice). They’re so delicious that I don’t care about my weight anymore. I surrender to the temptation of gaining a few pounds.”

The hotel offers various facilities for guests, including a boxing ring, a gym, tennis courts, and swimming pools. If it’s raining lightly in the morning, the courts might be wet. Alternatively, there’s yoga available at the Yoga Sala located by the front poolside, which you might have passed by. Although you didn’t participate due to the rain, it’s still an option for you.

“Trisara Phuket” was truly another remarkable hotel experience for us.

“Mittraphap Beach” is renowned for its beautiful, tranquil, and private atmosphere, free from hustle and bustle. Our stay at The Vijitt Resort Phuket truly felt like a relaxing getaway. The stunning sandy beach, clear turquoise waters, and beautiful villa accommodations, along with the infinity pool, left us impressed and eager to share our experience through this review.

“The Vijitt Resort” offers villa accommodations, each spaced apart to ensure privacy for guests. Surrounded by lush green gardens, the atmosphere is refreshing and vibrant.

Each villa at The Vijitt Resort offers a different view, and when the sun is shining, the sea becomes exceptionally clear, with the sky adding to the beauty. The only downside is that some room types are located on a slope, which might make walking to the restaurant or swimming pool a bit tiring. However, it’s worth it for the stunning views. Even the villas located on higher ground offer a magnificent view of the sea. The Deluxe Villa where we stayed was spacious, with a bedroom, a bathroom with a rain shower and a bathtub, and a balcony for admiring the view, all separated into distinct areas.

For those who prefer not to walk up the slope much and want to be closer to the sea while enjoying an exclusive and luxurious vacation, I highly recommend the Pool Villas. They are incredibly worthwhile as they are just a few steps away from the beach. Specifically, the Vijitt Pool Villa offers an exceptional experience.

“Mittraphap Beach” is a natural tidal beach where guests can check the tide times with the resort staff throughout the day. For stunning photos, I recommend the early morning light before the afternoon sets in; the sea is particularly beautiful during these times. One of the highlights is the infinity pool, a signature feature of The Vijitt Resort.

The red umbrellas are another signature touch of The Vijitt Resort, contrasting with the unique design of the villa roofs.

Even during the sunset hours, the beauty of the beach remains captivating.

At The Vijitt Resort, there are several coconut trees lining the beachfront, their curved trunks elegantly reaching towards the sea.

Walking from the swimming pool to the villas, we were captivated by the stunning rear villas, designed in a Chino-Portuguese style. These villas are often used for events such as receptions or weddings, exuding a classic charm.

At The Vijitt Resort, there are various activities to choose from, but one particularly unique and unforgettable experience for us was the rubber tapping activity. It was our first time trying it, and it was unlike anything else. We learned a lot from this activity. For instance, rubber tapping is done in the early hours before 6 am as the latex flow is at its peak during this time. There are many techniques involved in rubber tapping, and it made us realize that obtaining rubber isn’t as easy as it seems.

Another point to highlight in the main facilities is the fitness center, aptly located at the heart of the resort. Additionally, there’s a Kids Club, a children’s swimming pool, and playgrounds, both sheltered and outdoors, providing ample entertainment for the little ones.

Breakfast is served à la carte, offering a variety of set menus that you can choose from. We tried almost every set, and if the breakfast bookings are full, it switches to a buffet-style service.

Pattaya Beach is equally beautiful indeed. I can attest to it because I’ve been there. A 2-day, 1-night trip at Garden Cliff Resort & Spa, located right by Wong Amat Beach, a beach renowned for its beauty and tranquility, contrasting with the bustling city center of Pattaya. It’s perfect for couples or families looking for the ultimate retreat. This area is home to several luxurious hotels.

“Garden Cliff” is appropriately named. It’s lush with plenty of trees and not chaotic. Upon entering the lobby, you’ll encounter a dragon horse statue, a mascot of the hotel. Inside, you’ll find characters from the Manohra legend scattered around. As for the lobby, it’s decorated in a Thai contemporary style with tall, airy teakwood structures. You can catch glimpses of the sea and the swimming pool, giving off an infinity vibe. The pool is centrally located, surrounded by accommodation buildings.

There’s also a bar by the poolside, making it even more delightful. Sipping on some good drinks by the poolside is truly enjoyable.

The swimming pool area boasts three pools in total: the main pool, the children’s pool, and one located at the lower level.

If you want a bit more privacy, I recommend the pool downstairs. The hotel has a simulated beach area where you can sit back and enjoy the serene view of the sea. The sand is fine and soft, just like the real thing, although the actual beach here is a bit narrow. However, you can still play in the sea with its red and white buoy markers. It’s safe, so no need to worry.

Let’s move on to the accommodations, starting with the Deluxe Sea View room. The decoration is a blend of modern and Thai elements, offering a stunning 45-degree sea view from the balcony. The in-room facilities are standard, with a decently sized room and a bathtub included.

Let’s talk about the room we like the most. Imagine opening the balcony door and finding yourself right by the swimming pool, almost like having your own private pool. That’s the Deluxe Pool Access room for you. The interior decoration is similar to the Deluxe Sea View, but the highlight here is the direct access to the pool from the balcony.

The final room I’d like to recommend is the Junior Suite. It offers a breathtaking and clear view of the sea, creating a highly romantic atmosphere. It’s perfect for couples seeking an intimate getaway.

Panwa, the tranquil zone of Phuket, with its clear blue sea and fine white sand beaches, is indeed a highly desirable destination. In this area, there are numerous luxurious 5-star hotels to choose from. Today, we will introduce you to the “Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort,” a 5-star beachfront accommodation. It offers private villas and a wide range of activities and amenities for your enjoyment and relaxation.

From the drone footage, you can see that the beach is incredibly inviting. Its main highlights include its fine sand and gentle waves, perfect for swimming. In the mornings, the resort offers trips to explore marine life, where you can see small starfish, crabs, and various sea creatures along the shoreline. The abundance of marine life on the beach indicates the richness of this area’s ecosystem.

“Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort” welcomes us with a breathtaking sea view visible from the lobby, along with a list of breakfast items served in the style of a floating breakfast. It’s definitely exciting, and you’ll want to capture some stunning photos for sure.

Our accommodation is the Pool Villa Andaman View, situated beachfront with a private pool. After enjoying a dip in the pool, we can easily run down to the beach for some sea play.

Upon seeing the bathtub placed in the middle of the bathroom, I couldn’t help but exclaim in awe! The bathroom is beautifully constructed, featuring a walk-in closet and his and her basins, which I particularly love. It’s so convenient, especially with all the women’s toiletries that tend to accumulate. It makes washing, makeup, and hair styling much easier. The beach at Sai Daeng Resort has a semicircular shape, with fine white sand. The water is clear, allowing for visibility of small sharks and various types of fish.

The clear and calm water allows for snorkeling to observe the coral reefs, and you can also swim out and lounge on the bamboo raft floating in the middle of the sea.

Due to its promontory shape extending into the sea, there are two coastlines at Red Sand Resort: the Beautiful Rock Bay and the Deep Bay. One side features a sandy beach with clear water suitable for snorkeling, while the other side boasts beautiful coral formations, although it lacks a natural beach. The resort creates an artificial sandy beach on this side, where guests can sunbathe, swim, and snorkel. There are also rocky outcrops where you can climb up for scenic views, but caution is advised while climbing.

With its distinctive landscape design, each villa at the hotel offers unobstructed, picturesque views, ensuring privacy and tranquility. Guests who come to stay can fully immerse themselves in nature’s beauty.

I want to travel in a way that forgets everything about work, forgets all the stress, and head to Intercontinental Phuket for guaranteed 5-star fun. On this trip, we won’t think about anything other than eating and exploring. We’ll be busy snapping photos and updating stories because there are plenty of chic corners to capture.

“Intercontinental Phuket” is a newly opened 5-star hotel that combines the magnificence of paradise and the earthly concept, located along Kamala Beach. The hotel is divided into 2 zones. The “Buddha” zone is situated right by the beach, allowing guests to enjoy stunning beaches like Kamala Beach where swimming is possible, and the beachfront is wide with beautiful sea water.

As for the ‘Paradise’ zone, it will be located on the opposite side of the resort. The hotel has constructed an underground tunnel with shuttle services to transport guests to the Paradise zone. This zone is grand and magnificent, truly living up to its name as a paradise zone.

For the lobby, during our visit, we will utilize the lobby area in the Club Lounge of the Buddha zone, which is located by the sea. This serves as a temporary lobby.

The original lobby will be a large, luxurious building located in the Paradise zone, decorated with a clean, elegant white color scheme, exuding grandeur. There will be plenty of picturesque corners for photography.

Above the lobby, guests will have a clear view of the ‘Paradise’ building, with the topmost floor featuring an infinity pool and stylish seating areas where guests can enjoy watching the sunset.

The accommodations in the Paradise zone are intricately designed with captivating details, making it a hidden gem. With luxurious amenities and stunning vistas, it offers an unparalleled experience for guests seeking tranquility and indulgence.

And here is our room, the Club Intercontinental Pool View Room, located in the Buddha zone, beachfront area. This room comes with exclusive Club Intercontinental privileges, allowing access to the club lounge. From this room, you can enjoy views of both the pool and the sea. The bed is soft, there’s a bathtub, and with the hotel being newly opened, all amenities in the room are brand new. The minibar is fully stocked with everything except alcoholic beverages.

If anyone prefers to stay in a pool villa and seeks tranquility, I would recommend the 1 Bedroom Club Intercontinental Pool Villa in the Paradise zone, with mountain views amidst a tropical garden. It offers quiet privacy, luxurious decoration, and comfortable amenities. The villa includes a spacious bedroom, private pool, bathroom, relaxation pavilion, walk-in closet, and beautifully landscaped garden, providing a balanced and serene environment.

Most of the main facilities are located in the Buddha zone, and today we’re here to enjoy the Sunday Brunch at Jaras restaurant. The restaurant offers both Beach View and Pool View, with a very chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay all day. Intercontinental Phuket’s Sunday Brunch is served as a set menu, each course carefully curated for quality and taste. Let’s start with the first course. The appetizers feature a Thai fusion, with the standout being the Thai papaya salad. It’s served with grape seaweed, adding a unique twist to the classic dish. The flavors are well-balanced, with a perfect blend of sour, salty, spicy, and sweet. You definitely have to try this dish. Another must-try dish that stands out is the pork larb, served with crispy rice crackers, offering a delicious salty taste. The rest of the menu is equally enticing, and with so much food served, just one course is enough to make us feel satisfied.

And the main course is absolutely fantastic, especially the Lobster Pasta. The pasta is homemade here, and the bread and pasta are infused with yeast for added flavor and goodness, resulting in a unique texture that’s unlike any other. The lobster is perfectly crispy and tender, making it a delight to eat. However, by this point, you’ll have to save some room for the next course because the main dishes just keep coming. Italian, Thai, Japanese, French, you name it, they have it all. Our favorite dish is the Thai stir-fried noodles, bursting with all three flavors perfectly balanced. The noodles are cooked just right—not too soft, not too firm, just perfect. The pizza has a thin crispy crust, freshly baked and fragrant with cheese. And the quality of the Japanese salmon is impeccable, tender and full of flavor.

Today’s desserts include sticky rice with mango and Nutella pizza, both of which are truly worth it for a brunch priced at 1,900++ per person. Additionally, they provide a bottle of rose wine for every two persons, along with mineral water.

After finishing our meal, we head to Pine, located by the poolside, to enjoy some beachside music. Pine offers a DJ playing tunes while we relax by the pool.

If you book a room that comes with Club Access service, they will provide an afternoon tea with homemade pastries. This is definitely not to be missed! In addition to this benefit, the club also offers complimentary non-alcoholic beverages from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm. During the period from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, there will be a service of alcoholic beverages by the Sommelier, classic cocktails, sparkling wine, and canapés. Moreover, you can also enjoy breakfast at the club lounge. This exclusive benefit allows for a more private and intimate dining experience.

The Club Lounge features a private pool area and sunbathing lounges where you can relax and enjoy the ocean views in a more secluded setting. From the images, you can see the main pool, which is a large pool, while the Club Lounge pool is a long rectangular pool with a blue hue.

Sati Spa & Wellness – anyone who has tried it will be captivated. Relieve exhaustion and fatigue with the recommended lavender-scented massage oil. It’s soothing and relaxing.

The perfect end to the day is watching the sunset at Pine, accompanied by firefly lights and lively music from the DJ. It’s a fantastic atmosphere, and you can tell that everyone is thoroughly enjoying this moment.

And with the truly delicious flavors of the papaya salad and pad Thai, we couldn’t resist ordering another round in the evening. I can’t emphasize enough how delicious they are and how much I want everyone to try them like we did.

For breakfast, we enjoyed an a la carte menu at the club lounge. We had congee and steamed dumplings with crab sauce, as well as smoked salmon Benedict. It was a fantastic breakfast that gave us a great energy boost.

On weekends with only 2 days off, there’s still plenty of time for a trip to Kamphaeng Saen, Nakhon Pathom province. As for the Nakkrat room, it offers a vibe similar to enjoying the breeze while admiring the bridge. Its design resembles lounging on a luxurious pier.

On the way back, make stops to visit the Moonlight Palace, Lamphaya Floating Market, Don Wai Floating Market, or pay homage at Phra Pathom Chedi.
