Review of the trip to Koh Kood. This trip was refreshing with Sea Far Resort Koh Kood.

This trip was refreshing because we went to Koh Kood… The sea at Koh Kood is truly blue, clear blue. It fills the heart with joy. Besides the blue sea, when we think of Koh Kood, we also think of Sea Far Resort Koh Kood, where we stayed by the sea, right on the white sandy beach. We had been to Blue Resort before, and what captured our hearts was the clear blue sea and the simple atmosphere, living close to the sea. That’s why it led us to come back here again. And this time, we were impressed once again.

Sea Far Resort Koh Kood is located at Ao Taphao, Koh Kood, facing the long beach bay with fine white sand. The accommodations are villa-style, situated in the back, offering high privacy. What impressed us this time was the Blue Resort’s charming bridge at the end, made of wood, with a slow curve. Moreover, they’ve decorated the bridge with new lighting and added a net over it. It instantly reminded us of Maldives. When the sun sets and the lights come on, it becomes even more beautiful.

The cafe has arrived, and the verdict from team members is that the cheesecake here is the best on Koh Kood. As for coffee, after trying out 4-5 cafes on the island, we must say that the one here is the best.”

This beachfront villa is located right on the beach, and it features a Beachfront Deluxe with Jacuzzi Bathroom. Apart from being beachfront, this room also boasts a whirlpool bathtub for soaking while enjoying the sea view.

The private villa is located right on the beach, offering clear turquoise sea views. After soaking in the water, you can just run straight into the sea. As for the interior, the room is decorated in shades of blue, enhancing the cozy atmosphere with themed tie-dye patterns, making it unique and stylish.

The Beachfront Bungalow is also located right on the beach, allowing you to feel the sea, breeze, and full sunlight. However, unlike the Beachfront Deluxe with Jacuzzi Bathroom, this room does not feature a jacuzzi bathtub. Other than that, it offers similar amenities such as a television, refrigerator, WiFi, mini-bar, towels, soap, and shampoo.

The Coconut Pool Garden Deluxe room is nestled amidst a coconut garden. This zone offers tranquility, located approximately 100 meters away from the beach. In the center of the zone, there is a swimming pool equipped with sun loungers. This area tends to be less crowded, making it perfect for those seeking peace and quiet to read a book or enjoy a swim in the pool.

You can find refreshing drinks to enjoy at the beach bar, which is open all day.

Dinner on Koh Kood, I recommend the hotpot pork set. It’s a great value and delicious. Almost every table orders it.

The breakfast is served buffet-style, offering both Thai and American breakfast options. Guests can also help themselves to tea and coffee.

This trip feels like living in a blue world, to be honest.

The Pattaya Glamper: A Comfortable Stay for Those Who Want to Go Camping

Let’s go camping in the middle of Pattaya city at The Pattaya Glamper! This newly opened accommodation offers the ultimate chic experience right in the heart of the city, less than 10 minutes away from Terminal 21 and Pattaya Beach. Here, the convenience of hotel stays meets the charm of safari-style tents, creating a cool camping atmosphere. Sleep in ultra-clean tents with plush mattresses and ensuite bathrooms, ensuring a very comfortable camping experience.

The Pattaya Glamper boasts several impressive photo spots, starting from the entrance gate leading to the minimalist-style lobby. It’s spacious and airy, enhanced with wooden accents and wicker decorations. The lobby area is open-concept, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the breeze in a chill atmosphere.

The bathroom at the lobby area is also beautifully designed, perfect for photo opportunities.

During the 3 PM afternoon session, complimentary refreshments are provided, featuring a set of Thai snacks, cakes, and beverages. Guests can enjoy these treats at their tents or opt to sit and indulge in the lobby area.

Our accommodation tent was incredibly comfortable and inviting, perfect for two people. It had a cozy and warm ambiance, with ample space for placing belongings and a surrounding area around the bed. We especially loved the soft and comfortable bed, equipped with its own air conditioner. Additionally, the amenities provided, such as complimentary drinks, battery charging stations, were thoughtful touches. Most importantly, having an ensuite bathroom was a real luxury. The decorative bathtub had a luxurious tropical style, creating a mood of relaxation amidst the garden. Privacy was ensured with the availability of curtains. Furthermore, the bathroom and rain shower were separate, with a separate sink area, making everything feel well-designed and convenient. Overall, we felt extremely comfortable and relaxed. Outside the tent, there were chairs where we could sit and enjoy the evening views. Given the hot weather, we preferred to indulge in snacks or relax in the cool, air-conditioned tent rather than staying outside.

The room for 2 people comes in 2 variations: one with a 6-foot by 1-foot bed, and the other with a 3.5-foot by 2-foot bed. Both are suitable for friends or family members who are more like siblings. The decoration and size of the rooms are identical, as well as the amenities provided. The only differences lie in minor details.

The large tent can accommodate up to 4 people with a 5-foot by 2-foot bed and features 2 units available at the resort. The spacious tent offers great comfort and convenience, perfect for a happy family stay.

Let’s take some photos by the poolside under the shade! Don’t forget, we can also play with the provided inflatable pool floats. The pool is open from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

The Pattaya Glamper offers a tranquil glamping experience. Despite the tents being somewhat close together, the design allows for a private and peaceful stay. During the evening, it’s quiet and undisturbed, with minimal noise. You might hear faint conversations from neighboring tents, which we find acceptable—it adds to the camping atmosphere.

Enjoyed a peaceful and restful sleep, with fresh-smelling clean sheets and plush mattresses. The air inside the tent was clean and refreshing, making us forget about traditional camping altogether. It felt as convenient and comfortable as staying in a real hotel room.

The breakfast menu consists of basic items, including sunny-side-up eggs, grilled pork, rice porridge, grilled bread, tea, coffee, and fruits. Guests can choose to take their breakfast back to their tents or dine at the table and chairs set up in the lobby area.

Those who enjoy creating content or love glamping-style accommodations must definitely give The Pattaya Glamper a try. This newly opened accommodation is perfect for both activities, offering great opportunities for content creation with its picturesque surroundings and unique glamping experience.

Review at Na Tree Tara Riverside Resort @ Amphawa. Experience the riverside atmosphere of Maeklong with a good slow-life feel.

Amphawa is another popular tourist destination near Bangkok. It offers easy access, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery. Choosing to stay at Na Tree Tara Riverside Resort fulfills all needs, as the resort is surrounded by nature and situated by the Mae Klong River. The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing getaway not far from Bangkok.

Na Tree Tara Riverside Resort is located in Bang Yirong Subdistrict, Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram Province. The beautiful atmosphere here perfectly matches the meaning of the accommodation’s name. The flowing river (Tara) never stops, creating a serene ambiance. There are large trees (Tree) providing shade and comfort for the eyes. The resort is decorated in a boutique, chic style with unique design, making it a perfect spot for stunning photographs.

The check-in process begins at the lobby of the resort, which is decorated in a contemporary Thai style, simple yet visually pleasing. All staff members provide excellent hospitality, welcoming guests warmly.

After checking in and settling down, the resort recommended their special Valentine’s Day-themed Afternoon Tea set. It consisted of a selection of Thai sweets paired with fragrant tea, beautifully presented. The set included a total of 8 Thai desserts, accompanied by a delightful sweet and tangy mango and lime tea. The first taste of the tea was truly delightful, perfectly balancing sweetness and tanginess.

The highlight of the resort is the Pool Villa Riverfront, a 2-bedroom villa located right by the river. This villa type is consistently fully booked due to its popularity. It features a private swimming pool where guests can enjoy a pleasant river view while swimming. Inside the villa, there are 2 bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and another with twin beds. Additionally, there is a central living area. This villa is perfect for families seeking a relaxing getaway.

Continuing on, the Villa Terrace In The Garden is another highly sought-after accommodation option, offering a private villa surrounded by the resort’s natural beauty. The villa is positioned facing the water flowing through the resort, with small and large fish swimming around to welcome guests. Inside, the villa is spacious and includes one large bed and a sitting area. This room can accommodate a maximum of 3 guests.

Lastly, the Deluxe Pool Access Room provides direct access to the central swimming pool, allowing guests to simply step out onto the balcony and enjoy a refreshing swim. Inside, the room is spacious and features a large bed. It is fully equipped with amenities, including a mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities, and complimentary bottled water.

The evening atmosphere by the riverside is absolutely delightful, with the sunlight gradually fading into the horizon, complementing the flowing river perfectly. It’s an ideal setting for a riverside dinner, especially during this Valentine’s season. At the Mangrove Café, the food is exceptionally delicious, utilizing high-quality ingredients sourced from Amphawa, such as the large white pomelo from the resort’s orchard, Mae Klong river fish, freshwater prawns, and mangrove leaves. The meal concludes with cocktails, adding to the smooth dining experience, leaving one feeling satisfied and contented at the end of the day.

Starting the new day with merit-making by offering alms to monks. Monks will row boats to receive alms in front of the resort, usually not later than 06:30 AM every day. This wholesome activity provides both spiritual fulfillment and a scenic morning view.

Breakfast is served at the Le Chakram Restaurant from 07:00 to 11:00 AM. There is a wide variety of breakfast options available for guests to choose from.

Before checking out, take some time to relax at the resort’s spa, Chor Cher Spa. Indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment, starting with a chocolate body scrub mixed with milk, followed by a relaxing aromatherapy massage, and ending with a refreshing soak in a jacuzzi. This spa experience will surely help relieve any fatigue and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated before your departure.

The resort has many more facilities, such as bicycles for cycling around, a fitness center, and a large swimming pool with a view of the river.

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway near Bangkok with easy access and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Na Tree Tara Riverside Resort as another option. You’ll definitely want to come back again and again.

Pattaya in a tranquil corner, watching the sunset by the sea, Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya.

This trip review of my stay in Pattaya this time offers a different feel from previous ones. It’s a relaxing getaway without any rush, as the sea is right in front of you and the swimming pool is right beside it. Delicious dining options surround you at Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya, located along Jomtien Beach with a small road separating the hotel from the beach.

The accommodation is decorated in a contemporary style blended with chic Chinese elements, using tones of elegant grey, brown, and white. The lobby will be located on the 1st floor of the accommodation building, which will serve as both a restaurant and a café.

The room we stayed in is the Marine Bedroom Suite, which is divided into separate areas including a sitting area, dining table, and a work desk. The bedroom is also separated, and the bathroom comes with a bathtub and rain shower. The size of the room is approximately 70 square meters.

The Marine Presidential Suite, sized at 126 square meters, comes with 2 bedrooms, making it suitable for families. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a bathtub and offers a sea view directly from the bed. The second bedroom has twin beds with a similar sea view. This suite also includes a spacious living area and a dining table. It’s the highest tier accommodation type at Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya.

The entry-level room type of the hotel is the Superior room, which comes with a balcony. Guests can choose between a king-size bed or twin beds. The room size is compact at 30 square meters, but it is fully equipped with standard hotel amenities.

A highlight not to be missed is the evening around 6 o’clock, where you can witness the sunset directly from the hotel. We chose to sit at the Street Bar, selecting a front-facing table to enjoy the sunset view. Street Bar serves street food-style dishes with a creative twist, elevating ordinary favorites into extraordinary culinary experiences.

It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breeze. Apart from the front seating area, there is also a back area with tables by the poolside, offering another delightful ambiance.

The combination of Parma Ham with melon is a delightful fusion that works exceptionally well. I highly recommend this dish. Additionally, the salmon and grilled ribs are also must-try options.

In the morning, just about 100 meters from the front of the hotel, there’s a small morning market. The highlight is the fresh seafood directly from the boats that have just returned from fishing. They will park the boats right by the football field for you to buy directly from the shore. It’s like serving fresh catches straight from the sea onto the shore. Definitely worth buying as it’s extremely fresh.

Even though there are tempting pastries and a variety of foods available, we cannot resist sticking to the hotel’s breakfast. We’ve secretly peeked and found many appetizing options. The breakfast quality is exceptional, especially the fresh seafood like steamed seabass with lime, which is so delicious that we couldn’t resist asking for more. The fresh vegetables and tasty pastries are also delightful. As for coffee, you can choose between cappuccino, latte, or opt for tea.

Staying for just one night, it’s more relaxing to find a café to hang out by the sea. From Marina Beach Hotel Pattaya, Sattahip is about half an hour away. Sattahip Beach is something we really enjoy because of its tranquility and unique character. It’s untouched and has its own natural charm, with the sea boasting beautiful colors. The café we visited, Manga & Hubba, can be easily located via GPS. Upon arrival, there’s parking available, and you can call the café to come pick you up. They have cute little cars to pick up their customers.

The atmosphere of the café is shady, with beautiful sea views. I ordered a drip coffee to drink. It was so refreshing!

The food was delicious! The yellow curry with seabass was as spicy and flavorful as if I had eaten it in the south. And the pizza was tasty too!

Escape to the jungle of Luang Prabang, sleep in the midst of the garden, indulge in local cuisine, simple yet fulfilling, at the Orchard Pa La-U Resort.

Talking about Pala-U, many people might be familiar with the name, as it’s often heard in passing. But wait, where is it exactly? What does it offer? Why should one consider visiting? Today, hotelandresort will take you on a simple, comfortable trip, yet fulfilling. That’s right, we’re talking about a trip to the Orchard Luang Prabang Resort, a resort nestled amidst orchards of various fruits, including durian and other types of trees, located in Kaeng Krachan District, Phetchaburi Province.

The Orchard Pa La-U Resort is located approximately 1 hour away from Hua Hin and is situated near the boundaries of Kaeng Krachan National Park. This area is rich with lush vegetation, waterfalls, streams, and wildlife. The resort itself is about a 20-minute drive from the Pa La-U Waterfall. Being nestled amidst fruit orchards, the resort derives its name from this characteristic, making it the Orchard Pa La-U Resort.

The wild durians of Pa La-U are well-known, and at Orchard Pa La-U Resort, they have a large durian orchard. Besides that, there are also cashew trees and various types of kitchen garden vegetables.

The resort has spacious grounds, perfect for leisurely bike rides. There’s also a small canal where you often encounter flocks of ducks with their ducklings, waddling around and greeting guests.

In the heart of the resort, there’s a swimming pool located close to the lobby. The weather here is cool all year round. Even during the midday sun, it’s not too hot. You can truly feel the refreshing and lush nature surrounding you.

The accommodations at Orchard Pa La-U Resort are villas nestled under tall canopies, seamlessly blending with the surrounding nature. Each villa offers spaces both under the canopy, a balcony for enjoying the view, and importantly, spacious bathrooms with complete amenities. The villas come in two types: Deluxe and Family. They are divided into two wings, with the relaxation area in the middle. One wing houses the bathroom, while the other contains the bedroom. The advantage is that the spaces are well-segregated. However, the downside is for those who frequently need to use the bathroom at night, as they might find it a bit inconvenient having to walk through the bedroom to get there. This particular villa is situated at the front, offering views of the lush garden.

On the other side, there’s a hidden gem situated right at the very back, adjacent to the stream and not too far from the lobby. This spot offers tranquility and a view of the stream.

The back of the resort features a small stream with a gentle flow of water. It’s a beautiful spot, especially during sunset, perfect for taking stunning photographs.

Dinner at Orchard Pa La-U Resort is delicious. I highly recommend the signature dishes pictured. They are so tasty that there’s nothing left on the plate. No need to dine anywhere else. This place is the best.

The breakfast served under the lobby canopy consists of a rice porridge menu and a small buffet line for selection. It’s light yet satisfying, leaving you comfortably full.

Review of Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa, a 5-star accommodation located on the Main Beach, near Memory Beach.

Prior to this, we only knew about Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa through their advertising campaign. The images depicted a large resort located by the Main Beach, with an infinity pool and contemporary-style buildings amidst lush greenery. That was the impression we had of this 5-star accommodation. However, as we all know, photographs cannot fully capture the essence of a resort like experiencing it in person. And ultimately, when we stood right here, we found that Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa exceeded our wildest imaginations.

Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa is a tranquil kingdom nestled by the Main Beach, boasting a shoreline perfect for water activities. The long stretch of fine sand offers ideal conditions for surfing, with waves of moderate strength suitable for surfing enthusiasts. Moreover, the hotel is conveniently located near Memory Beach as well. However, it must be emphasized that the hotel’s beachfront is particularly ideal for surfing. Guests staying here can easily access the hotel’s beachfront for surfing activities. It’s evident that the waves are quite inviting.

But if you’re not into surfing, Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa still offers plenty of other wonderful things to enjoy during your vacation. For example, the main swimming pool is an infinity pool that is as large as the beach itself, complete with a water slide.

Another swimming pool is located near the Naphalai Restaurant. This pool area offers a serene atmosphere, surrounded by lush gardens, providing a tranquil environment for swimming.

Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa is divided into 2 sides, connected by a bridge. Both sides of the resort offer accommodation options. One side features rooms in the main building area, including Superior Deluxe Pool Access rooms and Suites, along with facilities such as the Naphalai Restaurant, lobby, swimming pool at the Karkinos Beach Club, spa, and gym.

Deluxe Seaview Room

Deluxe Pool Access Room

The other zone will be the Pool Villa zone, which includes various types of villas such as Jacuzzi Villa, Pool Villa, and Family Pool Villa. Additionally, in this zone, there will be the Naphalai Restaurant and the Horizon Bar.

The Jacuzzi Villa is the accommodation where we’ll be staying tonight. It’s a spacious white villa that offers privacy and tranquility. It features a jacuzzi, a separate living area, and a bedroom, making it perfect for a romantic getaway for couples.

Breakfast

It’s a shame you only have one day. I recommend that if you want to fully enjoy your stay here, you should have at least 2 days. This way, you can relax and make use of all the facilities the resort has to offer. At the end of the trip, you won’t want to leave just like that.

Ayutthaya trip: Paying homage to the sacred sites, strolling through the floating market, exploring cafes, and staying overnight at The Cavalli Casa Resort.

Once a year, it’s essential to plan a trip to Ayutthaya, to pay respects at the temples, admire the ancient city, indulge in boat noodles, and stop by cute cafes. Such a short trip can recharge your energy in no time. Although Ayutthaya isn’t too far, the journey there and back can be tiring. Thus, finding a good accommodation close to tourist attractions at an affordable price is a smart idea. For this trip, we decided to stay at The Cavalli Casa Resort, a newly opened accommodation just 10 minutes away from the city center. Whether it’s visiting temples, enjoying grilled prawns, or buying silk scarves, everything is within a 10-minute reach.

The Cavalli Casa Resort, located on a vast 35-acre property, boasts 120 rooms. The resort is divided into two buildings, Building A and Building B. It offers new accommodation options for those who prefer staying in freshly decorated rooms with clean, new beddings. The lobby for check-in is located in Building A, and as you drive in, it will be on your right-hand side. There’s ample parking space available, possibly due to the hotel hosting events, meetings, and seminars regularly.

The most beautiful room at the resort, which also comes at an attractive price (price stated at the end of the review), is decorated in a contemporary style. It features a sophisticated navy blue color scheme complemented by soothing white accents, creating a clean and relaxing ambiance. The room is perfect for unwinding and getting a good night’s sleep. It offers all standard amenities, and the spacious bathroom includes a bathtub. Additionally, the private balcony provides views of passing trains, as the resort is located near the Ban Ma Railway Station. Train schedules are available at intervals, allowing guests to enjoy distant views of trains passing by.

“Cavalli” translates to “horse,” and you’ll see horse logos or decorative items featuring horses as symbols integrated throughout various angles of the resort seamlessly.

The Grand Deluxe room also follows the blue and white theme, offering both Twin and Double bed options. This room doesn’t feature a bathtub, but it does provide standard amenities. One thing I particularly like is the bathrobe, which is very comfortable and fits just right. Sometimes, robes in other places might be too large for me as they are often sized for Westerners, but here, it’s just perfect for women. It looks beautiful when worn and makes for some stylish photos. However, for men, it might be a bit short.

The Deluxe room, on the other hand, has a spacious balcony and includes a bathtub.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel surroundings and the signature photo spots of the hotel.

โรงแรมมีจุดสะพานไม้ไว้เดินเล่นถ่ายรูป

This building serves as the central hub for the hotel’s facilities, including a swimming pool, fitness center, Peaberry restaurant, and a café that is soon to open.

The swimming pool also serves as another beautiful spot to watch the sunrise. Alternatively, waiting for the train to pass by and capturing a photo can also be a cool idea. Trains run throughout the day, but the most picturesque moments might be during cooler times. If you wait to capture the moment around 11:30 AM or 4:30 PM, you’ll catch beautiful light without the intense heat of midday.

Breakfast in Bed at The Cavalli Casa Resort offers an American Breakfast menu, along with a selection of Thai dishes.

Ending the one-day trip with a visit to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sounds perfect!

Cross River Kwai is a luxurious riverside villa nestled in the heart of Kanchanaburi province.

Anyone who’s impressed with hotels in the Cross collection will be even more ecstatic when they come to Cross River Kwai in Kanchanaburi. Not only is it centrally located, but this trip will allow you to experience the unique charm of Cross River Kwai, unlike any other. From the service to the complimentary offerings that put a smile on our faces from check-in to check-out, let’s see what Cross River Kwai does to make us this happy.

Starting from the refreshing welcome drink before you even start to feel tired upon arriving at our riverside villa, or what we call the Xfloat Luxe Cabin, the accommodation is more than just a place to stay. What sets the Xfloat Luxe Cabin apart is that its atmosphere resembles having a luxurious villa perched atop the river. The cabins themselves aren’t overly spacious, but they are incredibly functional, with well-proportioned areas for various uses. The bed’s positioning is just perfect for lying down, enjoying the river view, and witnessing the sunrise. I must admit, the bed is so comfortable, with fresh-smelling linens, it feels clean and inviting.

The bathroom is almost as spacious as the bedroom itself, with a stylish and unique design.

For the complimentary amenities in the room, they are more than complete. We particularly appreciate the Nespresso coffee machine and the Marshall speaker provided for setting the ambiance with music. As for the mini-bar, it offers a selection of snacks and beverages, including soft drinks and assorted snacks. There will be a list detailing the items available for your convenience.

Walking out onto the terrace, you’ll find the kayaks neatly docked and waiting for you in an orderly manner. Above, there’s a staircase leading up to a deck where you can enjoy expansive, far-reaching views.

Another complimentary feature that impressed us greatly is how much attention the hotel pays to creating memorable experiences for its guests, right down to the smallest details. For instance, the tea set with waffles or the afternoon toast set are provided with great care and attention, ensuring that guests feel truly valued and pampered during their stay.

To add another small surprise during turndown service, they offer warm milk before bedtime. It’s delightful and truly adds to the overall experience. The milk is delicious too!

In the morning, don’t forget to wake up and witness the sunrise. It’s another breathtaking moment at the resort. The sun rises above the water, and you can even see it from your bed. Alternatively, going up to the deck to watch it rise is also magnificent.

The breakfast here is hands down the best I’ve ever had in Kanchanaburi. I dare say it’s exceptionally good in terms of both quality of ingredients and taste. It’s the highlight of Cross River Kwai Resort. One dish that I particularly enjoyed is the Pad Mama Hai So, which is an interesting fusion dish. It’s packed with a variety of ingredients, similar to American-style fried rice. It has a slight fusion twist to it. Besides that, there are many other menu options available without limits. The portion sizes are just right, and ordering two plates leaves you completely satisfied.

There’s also a mini buffet line available, consisting of beverages, herbal drinks, and yogurt.

For dinner, we opted to dine at the resort, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the dishes shown in the images. The glass noodle salad (Yum Woon Sen) had a mild, fragrant flavor with a hint of garlic, which was delightful. The spicy and sour shrimp soup (Tom Yum Goong) had just the right amount of spiciness, providing a perfect balance. As for the fried chicken, it was a chef’s recommendation – crispy on the outside, tender and slightly salty on the inside. Everything was delicious!

After finishing our meal, we sat down to admire the view of the river. This resort isn’t very large, and to be honest, we felt like staying in our room all day. Everything was just perfect for relaxation. However, we couldn’t resist stepping out to admire the atmosphere of the resort a bit more.

The swimming pool is an infinity pool with a stunning view. It’s really beautiful. The pool has a shallow area for kids and a deeper zone for serious swimming.

For those who are traveling with children, it might be more convenient to stay in the Luxe Cabin Suite, which is located near the swimming pool area.

Ending this trip feels like it’s not really over; I want to stay longer. We’ll save it for next time, Cross River Kwai.

Review: Fun Water Park Resort in Kanchanaburi, Delicious Food at Lake Heaven Resort and Park.

This hot weather calls for cooling off with some water fun, and the top water park in Kanchanaburi, Lake Heaven Resort and Park, or Lake Heaven, is our next destination. Then, we drove until we reached the Srinakarin Dam to encounter the floating houses surrounded by mountains. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes from downtown Kanchanaburi, which is quite reasonable. The route is good, with plenty of shops and cafes along the way for a pleasant drive.

And wow, we were welcomed by a large group of spacious accommodation units at Lake Heaven Resort and Park. There are many different types of rooms available, and the array of amenities is just impressive. I can’t wait to dive in!

From the parking lot, it’s about a fifteen-minute walk down to the pier. Actually, there’s a buggy service available, but it’s not too far to the point where walking becomes unbearable. We strolled along the floating pontoons until we reached the ferry wheel, and in no time, we were there.

The room rate includes a full board meal package with three meals and all non-oil-based activities, including wet rafting. If you arrive feeling exhausted, you can dine right away as there is a buffet available for lunch. The food offers a variety of delicious Thai dishes. As for the room we stayed in, it’s a package room named “Crystal Prince Pavilion.” It’s a new, tranquil zone with spacious interiors and a balcony offering a scenic view of the floating mountains. Standard amenities include a television, refrigerator, quiet air conditioning, soap, shampoo, and bottled water.

Padala is another popular raft here, suitable for two people. It faces the playground, meaning you can easily access the water from the balcony. However, there’s a rule here that life jackets must be worn when using the playground equipment. Initially, I forgot to wear one while eagerly wanting to play on the equipment. However, the staff promptly reminded me to put it on for safety reasons.

Before playing on the equipment and entering the water, you can get life jackets at the Padamarine. This spot also provides locker rentals and shoe rentals. For the adventurous types who prefer more relaxed activities, there are options like paddle boats, kayak rides, or leisurely walks through water tunnels. These options are perfect for those who prefer to take it easy.

For watercraft like jet skis, which use fuel, they are not included in the package. You would need to pay separately for them at the lobby.

The wet rafting starts when the sun is shaded and the wind is calm. It will take you to admire the dam, and the atmosphere is absolutely delightful. It’s a great way to cool off. The round trip takes approximately 1 hour.

The sunset behind the mountains creates a wonderfully romantic atmosphere.

The dinner came in buffet style with a variety of options to choose from, all of high quality. The food was prepared in a style that caters to the taste of Kanchanaburi locals, and what I liked the most was the crispy and succulent fried garlic pork. It was marinated just right, with a touch of city-style seasoning. I think the food here really hits the spot for Thai palates.

Breakfast.

For those who want to admire the dam but prefer not to stay on the raft, Lake Heaven also offers accommodations on the shore. This zone is designed in a resort-style setting with private bungalows connected by pathways adorned with lush greenery. It’s just as inviting to stay here. Inside, the amenities are just as comprehensive as those on the raft.

For adventure seekers, if you want to go camping, Lake Heaven also offers dome tents. If the weather gets a bit chilly and the night sky is dark, opening up the tent to stargaze should offer a fantastic view of the stars. Inside the tent, there’s air conditioning available. However, please note that the bathroom facilities for the tents are shared.

The nighttime atmosphere is anything but dull! With beautiful lights and vibrant colors, it’s perfect for relaxation, fun, and even parties. Lake Heaven Resort and Park truly offers everything you need for a complete and enjoyable getaway.

Review of Pattaya Paradise Beach Resort: A Secluded Beachfront Stay Everyone Should Know About

Pattaya Paradise Beach Resort, a private beachfront accommodation in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. I’ve heard of this resort before and seen pictures of its cottage-style seaside accommodations, but I was rather indifferent. However, upon actually visiting, I found many impressive aspects here that left a lasting impression. While it may not emphasize luxury or standard hotel services with abundant amenities, it has a charming quality and offers something special with its location and atmosphere. We’d like to say it’s another accommodation in Sattahip that we were impressed with.

Pattaya Paradise Beach Resort is decorated with inspiration from English Country style and situated atop a hill. The first time we drove there following the GPS, we weren’t sure if we were on the right track as there weren’t clear signs. However, when we saw the sign for Pattaya Paradise Beach Resort, we knew we were in the right place. Upon arrival, we couldn’t see the accommodation at first, but as we walked a bit further, we were pleasantly surprised. We found ourselves on a hill with a path leading down to the lobby and colorful cottages. In front of us was a vast expanse of sea.

An infinity pool that overlooks the sea.

The resort is built descending in tiers along the cliff towards the beach, creating a vibrant and colorful kaleidoscope. Adorned with fresh shades of umbrellas and flowers, this style of accommodation is not commonly found in Pattaya or Sattahip. The recommended room type is the Deluxe Cottage, which is situated by the infinity pool. Guests can simply walk out of their rooms and directly access the pool. Inside the room, amenities include a refrigerator, television, air conditioning, and complimentary toiletries.

If coming as a family of 4, I recommend the Paradise Cottage which can accommodate 4 people. It faces the sea and offers a relatively private space for families. Additionally, it is located close to the swimming pool.

And if you’re coming as a large family, the Grand Cottage is absolutely fantastic. This accommodation can house up to 12 people with its 5 bedrooms. It’s a private pool villa perfect for large gatherings, featuring a living room and a terrace for admiring the views. Since the cottage is situated on a high hill, the sea views are breathtaking. Additionally, there’s a kitchen and a dining table where you can even do barbecue. The decoration is lovely, with sweet and serene colors, reminiscent of English countryside charm.

The resort’s restaurant in the late afternoon has an exceptionally pleasant atmosphere. It’s a prime spot for watching the sunset. The menu offers a selection of Thai dishes as well as fusion cuisine. You can also order dishes tailored to your preferences. The flavors are delightful!

For breakfast, there are two menu options to choose from.

The highlight of this place is its beachfront location, serene and private atmosphere, and a very romantic ambiance. It’s highly suitable for family relaxation. However, one aspect that may not be suitable for everyone is that the accommodations in the lower zone may not be suitable for elderly individuals or those with knee or bone issues, as there are stairs to navigate. But if you’re looking for a private beach experience, not focused on nightlife, in a quiet Sattahip style with self-service amenities, then Pattaya Paradise Beach Resort is the place for you.
