Located by the sea, where time always moves slowly… Aleenta Hua Hin – Pranburi Resort & Spa.

Not everyone may be the same when it comes to the sea. Every time I get the chance to go to the refreshing and exciting sea, the feeling is indescribable. It’s like this time, just knowing that I’ll get to stay at Aleenta Hua Hin – Pranburi Resort & Spa is almost unbearable. All I can think of is that this is a luxury hotel in Pranburi, just a few steps away from the beach without any barriers. Moreover, we really love the vibes here, as it’s a beachfront villa emphasizing tranquility and being in harmony with nature.

The resort is located in Pranburi district, about a 20-minute drive from Hua Hin. Aleenta Hua Hin offers a serene retreat in beachfront villas, embracing a concept that harmonizes with nature. With only a few villas, the resort focuses on providing guests with a private and tranquil staycation experience.

The Beachfront Pool Residence is the most popular accommodation here. It’s advisable to book well in advance as availability can be limited, with only three residences available.

The villas face the sea, designed and decorated seamlessly with nature. The French doors can be opened wide to let in the breeze. Stepping out onto the terrace, you’ll see a small plunge pool. The villa also features a shaded area for lounging and a small garden for stretching out and enjoying the sea breeze while gazing at the sea.

Another thing that you’ll love is the skincare products, soap, and shampoo. They all have a delightful fragrance and are made using locally sourced ingredients, all handcrafted.

“Aleenta” also offers another type of accommodation, the Ocean View Residence. These are spacious villas perched on the hillside, providing breathtaking views of the sea from another stunning perspective.

The resort’s spa offers an open-air concept, allowing the breeze to gently caress your skin during treatments. It provides a truly special spa experience.

At the lower level of the spa is a breakfast dining area where each room receives a beautifully arranged breakfast set consisting of bakery items and fruits. Additionally, guests can also order two a la carte menu items each. There are small tables set up as mini-buffets where guests can help themselves to yogurt, milk, and cereal.

After enjoying breakfast, we went for a bike ride to explore the serene atmosphere of Pranburi. Along the way, we planned to stop by a café and the hotel’s souvenir shop as we were impressed by their handmade soap.

In this area, there’s also accommodation known as the “Hidden Gem,” offering a tranquil retreat akin to staying in a private villa.

Throughout our stay here, we only heard the sounds of waves, wind, and rustling leaves, without any distractions to unsettle our hearts. It was a perfect environment for relaxation and recharging, allowing us to fully unwind.

I want to travel in a 5-star style to … Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort.

Looking for a 5-star accommodation in Hua Hin? Look no further than the Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort. Positioned along the renowned beach, famous for its excellent water activities, this resort guarantees luxury and impeccable service, being a renowned 5-star brand. Moreover, staying at the Intercontinental allows convenient access to Vana Nava Water Jungle, adding even more excitement to your stay.

The Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort is divided into two zones: the Beach Wing and the BluPort Wing, connected by a bridge. The BluPort Wing is situated close to the BluPort Huahin shopping center but is also not far from the beach, accessible either by shuttle or by walking across the connecting bridge. On the other hand, the Beach Wing is closer to the sea and the hotel’s various facilities.

We stayed in a Resort Classic room in the Beach Wing, which is a highly popular room type at Intercontinental. The amenities were comprehensive, including refreshing shower creams, shampoos, and lotions. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, and there were plenty of bottles of drinking water provided, ensuring we never ran out. There was also a wide selection of teas available. The high-speed internet was reliable and never dropped out, which was greatly appreciated.

The club room at Intercontinental offers a standout feature with its bathtub, allowing guests to soak while enjoying partial sea views. Although the view of the sea might not be panoramic, the room itself is spacious, equipped with a cozy sofa for lounging, a daybed for relaxation, a bathtub in the bathroom, Rainshower, and access to the hotel’s Club Lounge benefits.

The swimming pool at the Intercontinental hotel is the best. It stretches from the center of the resort to the edge of the sea, with every depth level available. It features jacuzzis and relaxing seating areas. Everyone will surely love the Intercontinental’s swimming pool.

The beachfront of the Intercontinental boasts fine white sand.

In the evening, the atmosphere becomes even more beautiful. Intercontinental has recently introduced CoCco Bar Hua Hin, a beach bar tucked away with a touch of Hua Hin’s essence depicted through wall murals by local artists. The ambiance is wonderfully chill, open-air, perfect for enjoying refreshing drinks and cool sea breezes.

You must try the drinks at CoCco Bar. They offer exclusive recipes unique to the bar. Not only are they visually appealing, but they also taste fantastic.

“Jaran” is the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, exquisitely decorated both in ambiance and cuisine. It serves fusion Thai cuisine at a reasonable price point, with high-quality ingredients and expertly crafted dishes from experienced chefs. The meal consists of three courses, featuring a total of five dishes.

Starting with the appetizer, a chicken dish is served on a hot stone, followed by a savory fresh scallop shellfish served with sweet Hokkaido beef. The sandfish is expertly crafted into a rose shape, sourced from the local fishing community of Khao Takiab. This dish holds great pride for the restaurant as it originates from the owner’s mother’s recipe.

Following this is the Wagyu beef from Sakon Nakhon, grilled to perfection and drizzled with a rich and spicy Thai-style sauce. The main course is the tender beef cheeks simmered for over 24 hours, and what’s remarkable is that the potato in the curry isn’t sliced but rather finely ground, blending seamlessly with the curry sauce. To finish off, a delightful dessert of mango sticky rice wrapped in golden threads is served with delicious coconut ice cream.

The price for this entire course, inclusive of service charge, is only 1,000 baht per person. It truly epitomizes fine dining at an affordable price.

Azure is another dining venue located by the poolside facing the beachfront. It serves a selection of appetizers, snacks, and fusion cuisine.

The breakfast at Intercontinental Hua Hin comes in a complete format, offering everything one might crave in the morning. From freshly made pancakes, tofu pudding, piping hot noodles, congee, and rice soup to classic American breakfast options and various Thai curries, along with dim sum. There are multiple dining options available, including the classic birdcage tables and the pavilion in the middle of the water, which are both highly popular.

Another activity not to be missed is staying at the Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort, where you’ll get complimentary access to the Vana Nava Water Jungle. You can visit the water park after checking out. The water park is now fully operational again, and they’ve even added VR attractions. If you choose to experience the VR rides, there’s an additional fee of 80 baht per ride or 120 baht for unlimited rides.

Travel to Chiang Rai, admire the view of Tham Nang Non Cave, and shop at Mae Sai’s ‘TEVA Valley Resort’.

To experience the ultimate winter trip, you must make a stop at the northernmost part of Siam, Chiang Rai Province, which is another highly recommended destination. It offers plenty of natural and cultural attractions, along with delicious food. Enjoy the cool and fresh air of Chiang Rai during this winter. As for accommodation, we recommend a new and exceptional location, the ‘TEVA Valley Resort’, which offers a stunning view of Tham Nang Non Cave and is also close to the Mae Sai border for shopping enthusiasts. Additionally, it’s conveniently located near the tea plantations of Choui Fong for those interested in visiting.

We went to Chiang Rai together in the winter because we wanted to experience the cool weather. However, the downside was that we didn’t get to see the beautiful, lush green rice fields. But what we did get was a temperature of around ten degrees Celsius. Finding accommodation was easy, with plenty of parking spaces. The views were spectacular, with the entire Nang Non mountain range visible from wherever we were in the hotel. The lobby bar at the hotel was luxurious, making it a comfortable place to relax, almost like sitting in a fancy café.

The King Jacuzzi Suite is located on the first floor of the building. Inside the room, it spans 52 square meters, with a new, plush bed for comfortable sleep. The balcony features a jacuzzi tub and what appears to be a small garden extending from it. Each room has pine trees serving as a partition for privacy. The bathroom amenities are electric, which is not very common in hotels in Chiang Rai. Sitting in the tub during the chilly weather feels incredibly cozy and delightful.

If you want a clear view, opt for the Panorama Jacuzzi Suite located on the second floor. It is decorated similarly and equipped with amenities similar to the King Jacuzzi Suite, but it offers a higher perspective view.

For families, there’s the Penthouse Suite Jacuzzi, which accommodates up to 4 people. This room features a king-size bed, 1 double bed, and 2 single beds. It spans 130 square meters and comes with a jacuzzi tub, a spacious balcony, a walk-in closet, a kitchen counter, and a living area complete with a sofa set and a smart TV.

The swimming pool looks stunning at night with its colorful lights. It’s perfect for taking a swim while enjoying the view.

You can order snacks to enjoy by the poolside. We offer a high tea set and beverages such as coffee, soft drinks, and Italian sodas.

Dinner at the hotel doesn’t have to be expensive, and it’s delicious too. I recommend Or Derv Meuang, Spaghetti Sai Aua, and Chicken Steak.

The breakfast room has a cool Japanese theme.

I still feel a little regretful that I didn’t stay during the upcoming rainy season. So, I decided to sit and enjoy the view of the mountains while sipping a cup of coffee to soothe myself before leaving.

“Tamarind Village” offers a luxurious retreat amidst the tranquility of a century-old tamarind tree in the heart of Chiang Mai city.

I miss Chiang Mai so much! It’s a city where people are friendly, the food is delicious, and the culture is rich and beautiful. But how can we not book a trip to Chiang Mai? At least once a year, for sure! This trip, I’m craving that million-dollar experience, so we definitely have to stay here. The unique bamboo pavilions and the centuries-old tamarind tree at the heart of the resort make “Tamarind Village” stand out, and the Lanna-style cottages are simply irresistible. Let’s dive into some reviews together!

“Tamarind Village” is located in the heart of Chiang Mai, in the pedestrian-friendly area. If you’re planning to stroll around the Sunday Walking Street, this is the best location to start from. However, once you finish exploring the bustling walking street, this area transforms into a serene neighborhood where you can immerse yourself in the beautiful culture and way of life. “Tamarind Village” is surrounded by more than 10 ancient Lanna-style temples. The hotel offers many interesting activities, and the best part is, most of them are complimentary. One such activity is the morning almsgiving walk to nearby temples, where guides share the history of the temples you visit. If you need traditional Lanna attire for the resort, they provide it for borrowing, but make sure to inform them in advance. The first temple we visited was Wat Duang Dee, and along the way, we stopped by the Three Kings Monument and paid respects at Wat Inthakin, which is at the foot of Chiang Mai City. Lanna-style temples are heavily influenced by Myanmar, so you’ll notice a significant influence from there in the architecture and even the Buddha statues themselves. They are beautifully unique and intriguing.

After that, the guide led us to Wat Luang Pho Somchok. Here, it is said that the Buddha statue can express 9 different emotions on its face. I was intrigued and wanted to see it for myself. What caught our interest the most, though, was the figure of Mom, which is believed to be the Naga staircase guardian. In central Thai temples, the staircase guardians are typically Naga serpents, right? However, in Northern Thailand, you’ll see many staircases leading to the ubosot (ordination hall) guarded by Mom figures. Mom is a mythical creature that combines features of a cat, a gecko, a monkey, a tiger, a dog, and a toad. It’s a fantastical creature from folklore believed to be a celestial being sent to aid humans.

And thus, the trip came to an end as we walked back to the resort. The pathway leading to the resort entrance was also fascinating, especially for those who enjoy historical narratives. It was arranged almost like an exhibition showcasing images that are hard to come by, along with interesting stories about the past and the Lanna culture for visitors to enjoy.

From here, let’s take a look at our accommodations. Our room is a Lanna Room, situated near the resort’s central grass field where they’ve planted a tamarind tree over two hundred years old. Inside, the atmosphere is decorated in authentic Lanna Thai style, with traditional furnishings, windows, cushions, and various decorations that truly make you feel like a Lanna noblewoman. Another impressive aspect is the bath amenities—the body cream, shampoo, and skin lotion all smell delightful. Using them feels like indulging in a spa treatment, leaving you feeling thoroughly relaxed.

After exiting the room, you can conveniently walk through the lobby to reach the swimming pool area. How about trying their signature Lanna-style Afternoon Tea set? It’s sure to be a unique experience!

Afternoon tea was so satisfying! It was full with both club sandwiches, scones, butter cakes, so fulfilling!

In the afternoon, the resort organizes different activities each day. This time, we made herbal compress balls under the shade of a large tamarind tree, enjoying the cool breeze. It was a slow and gentle process, allowing us to enjoy the aroma as we made the compress balls. The herbal compress balls we made turned out great for eliminating musty smells in our travel bags. The scent of herbs and various fragrances helped keep our noses refreshed and clear.

At Tamarind House Restaurant, they offer all-day dining and serve breakfast to guests staying at the resort. The architecture of the house is beautifully crafted in the Lanna style. On the upper floor of the house, there are intricate Lanna-style decorations with delicate woven fabrics and intricately designed furniture, which are hard to come by. It’s a perfect place to sit quietly and read a book or work in a peaceful and serene environment.

Under the shade, there’s a poolside restaurant serving authentic Thai dishes with the aroma of Lanna cuisine, all at reasonable prices. The ingredients are of high quality and the flavors are delicious. Highly recommended dishes include deep-fried tilapia with tamarind sauce, Pad Thai, and stir-fried basil. Additionally, the stir-fried bamboo shoots are also intriguing, especially for those who enjoy unique flavors. Give it a try if you’re curious!

For breakfast, they also serve here with options of both Asian and Western dishes.

“At Tamarind Village,” there are other accommodations available such as the “Lanna Deluxe Room,” which features a balcony at the front.

“The Spa Suites” are located on the second floor of the house. These rooms feature a luxurious bathtub, elegantly decorated interiors, and spacious terrace areas for relaxation. In addition to their lavish decor, these rooms offer tranquility and a serene atmosphere surrounded by various types of trees.

I recommend staying for at least 2 nights so you can fully relax. Spend one day immersing yourself in cultural tourism at the hotel, visiting temples and engaging in religious activities. On the other day, you can go shopping for handmade goods and find cute cafes to sit and enjoy. With this, you can return home feeling happy and fulfilled.

Intercontinental Phuket Resort, a 5-star accommodation located on Kamala Beach.

No matter how many times you visit Phuket, there’s always something to explore. It’s just like staying at the Intercontinental Phuket Resort, a place we always trust to stay. No matter how many times we visit Phuket, we always think of “Intercon.” Perhaps it’s because of its location by Kamala Beach, which is a quiet and peaceful zone with beautiful beaches, fine sand, excellent service from friendly staff, and delicious food. It impresses us every time we come.

The “Intercontinental Phuket Resort” has two sides: one facing the sea and the other nestled against the hillside with a road separating them. These two sides are connected by a tunnel with buggy service available for transportation. Each side offers its own advantages. The hillside, often referred to as the “Paradise Wing,” is quiet and tranquil, with stunning architecture that catches the eye. This side has its own amenities such as a spa, lobby, swimming pool, and fitness center. On the beachside, known as the “Beach Wing,” guests experience a true beach resort feel with full amenities including a lobby, beachfront swimming pool, restaurants, and Pine Beach Bar.

Kamala Beach’s serene atmosphere and gentle breezes make it perfect for both relaxation and surfing.

Let’s take a look at the Paradise Wing first. One of its highlights is the beautiful architecture of the white castle-like structure atop the hill, which serves as a relaxing spot and houses the Sati Spa. The spa offers a variety of treatments, and we opted for a traditional Thai massage. It was a truly authentic experience, with skilled therapists and precise techniques. For those who enjoy Thai massages, this is definitely a must-try, as the massage was incredibly therapeutic. They also offer refreshing welcome drinks to help you unwind before your treatment, and afterwards, you can enjoy a hot beverage to further relax.

The Spa Signature, also known as Khid Pillow Massage or Spa Khid Pillow, is a modified technique that incorporates a specially designed pillow into traditional Thai massage. This helps to provide adequate support for massage in a comfortable position. It’s unique and only available at this location in the world.

We’re still at the Paradise Wing. Although the lobby building may seem unassuming, there’s more to it than meets the eye. Once you take the elevator to the top floor of the lobby, you’ll find a stunning rooftop deck with breathtaking photo spots. From here, you can clearly see the grandeur of the Paradise Wing, and the swimming pool on this level is also wonderfully tranquil.

Yes, this side also features a fitness center just like the other side.

Crossing over to the Beach Wing with the buggy, the first spot you’ll encounter is the lobby, which serves as the lounge area for the Intercontinental Club. Guests staying in the Intercontinental Club rooms can access the swimming pool here. It’s a club lounge pool with a view of the sea and tends to be less crowded.

Guests who book Club rooms will receive special privileges to access the exclusive Club InterContinental Lounge area. Club benefits include services such as afternoon tea and sunset cocktails.

The hotel’s swimming pool is located right by the beachfront, making it the largest pool in the hotel.

“PINE” beach bar, inspired by the nearby pine trees and the rhythm of the waves, boasts a sleek design. Just standing at the bar sipping a drink or enjoying an ice cream snack by the beach is enough to recharge fully, soaking in the sounds of the waves and the wind.

Let’s take a look at the Pool Villa Club Intercontinental One Bedroom, a dream-like accommodation designed to make your stay unforgettable. This spacious villa features a large swimming pool, sun loungers, and a generously sized bedroom with premium bedding. The bathroom is so inviting that you might want to spend the entire day there.

The Laguna Club Intercontinental Villa is another popular choice among guests. This room is a Pool Access villa shared with just a few other villas. With a living area of 104 square meters, it offers all the amenities and conveniences of the Pool Villa.

The Club Intercontinental Room with Sea View offers a breathtaking view of the beach directly from the room.

In the evening, while waiting to watch the sunset by the beach, you can order food from PINE or the Rasa Restaurant and enjoy dining by the beach. I recommend trying the Japanese-style salmon rice bowl, truffle mushroom pizza, and crab curry with cha plu leaves and noodles.

Homemade ice cream is delicious indeed! However, each scoop tends to melt quickly, so you need to eat it promptly.

In the morning, there’s a yoga session available. You can reserve your spot at the front desk.

The breakfast during our visit was a la carte due to the heightened COVID precautions. However, I believe that currently they might be serving both a la carte and buffet options. The breakfast quality at Intercontinental is of a high standard. However, the variety may be slightly reduced compared to previous visits since Intercontinental is renowned for offering a wide selection of breakfast options.

As for breakfast, buffet service is now available at the Pine Court restaurant. However, guests who book Club rooms can enjoy a la carte breakfast in the Club Lounge area.

Review of a 5-star trip to Twinpalms Phuket Resort, Phuket.

This trip revolves around the theme of luxurious and comfortable accommodation, which is the essence of the review of Twinpalms Phuket Resort, a 5-star resort located on Surin Beach, a tranquil and serene shoreline. Twinpalms Phuket offers a luxurious boutique-style stay that encapsulates the essence of Phuket’s signature style through its design and decor. From the palm trees lining the poolside to the various tropical plants, contemporary Thai-style pavilions, and trendy lounges, every aspect reflects the island’s charm. Additionally, the welcoming atmosphere and impressive service add to the overall experience.

Twinpalms Phuket Resort isn’t directly on the beachfront, but there’s a road separating it. After crossing the road, you’ll reach Surin Beach. In that area, there’s a skateboarding and surfing area. If you enjoy these activities, you can bring your gear along. It’s a popular spot, especially when the sun is shaded and the wind is calm.

After completing the lobby check-in process, we would walk towards the accommodation area. As we passed the lobby, a sense of relaxation would wash over us, as if we had truly entered a time of rest and rejuvenation. Walking into the lush garden, the freshness and vitality would envelop us. Twinpalms Phuket Resort boasts a central swimming pool area that immediately entices you to take a dip. After a refreshing swim, reading a book by the poolside would be an absolute pleasure.

The Lagoon Premium room is connected to the lagoon-style swimming pool, making it a relatively private Pool Access room. It shares the pool with only a few other rooms, and there’s even a door that can be closed for added privacy. The room offers a wide range of amenities, including soap, shampoo, lotion, all of which are generously scented. The bathroom features separate tub and shower areas, and it’s spacious enough to match the room itself. We really loved this aspect of the room.

The lagoon-style pool will have a distinctive appearance, clearly separated from the main pool.

The Duplex Loft room offers a special feature of a private swimming pool and two-level accommodation. The lower level consists of a dining area, a sitting sofa, terrace, and a private pool. The upper level serves as the bedroom. This room provides privacy and once you settle in, you wouldn’t want to leave. The bathtub is also beautifully designed.

The Palm Deluxe room is the entry-level accommodation type at Twinpalms, but it boasts a spacious room size of up to 50 square meters. It features a wide terrace that extends towards the garden and swimming pool area. The amenities are complete, just like in other room types.

As for other amenities, there is a fitness center and a library available.

Before sunset, we visited The Lazy Coconut, a trendy beach bar that serves snacks and beautifully presented fruit drinks. After enjoying our snacks, we could simply jump into the water. The place offers many picturesque spots, perfect for those who love taking photos. Coming here in the late afternoon allows you to witness the sunset view as well.

The standout feature of the vegetarian Greek-style food we had was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Paired with various sauces and dips, the flavors complemented each other perfectly. The taste was unique but delicious. One particularly fresh addition was the freshly fried French fries. Additionally, the grilled vegetables and fresh fruit salads were excellent.

We had dinner at Shimmer Beachfront Restaurant tonight, and the food here is simply delightful. Our favorites were the braised pork, sour curry, and crab curry noodles. And what we couldn’t miss out on was the seafood, especially the freshly grilled seafood with aromatic flavors and spicy dipping sauce. Above all, the vibe here is fantastic – the beachfront atmosphere without any obstructed views, especially during sunset, creates a truly romantic setting. Dining here while enjoying the sunset view is an incredibly relaxing experience for the soul.

To wrap up, I must mention the quality breakfast at Twinpalms Phuket Resort. They emphasize quality and offer both indoor and outdoor dining areas. The outdoor zone provides a view of the sea, which adds to the dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the variety of local dishes available, such as traditional Chinese dumplings served with dipping sauce. It’s a delightful option to have alongside the other breakfast selections.

Concluding the review of Twinpalms Phuket Resort, I must say it’s a trip worth recommending without a doubt. For anyone planning a visit to Phuket, I highly recommend Twinpalms Phuket Resort. The resort offers a truly memorable experience with its impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, and stunning surroundings. It’s a destination that won’t disappoint.

Grand Mercure Phuket Patong is a grand-style travel destination in Phuket.

Patong Beach, the most bustling area on the island of Phuket, offers everything one could desire. From sandy beaches, clear seas, water activities, delicious seafood restaurants, to stylish clubs and cafes, it has it all. Staying in Patong is ideal for those who want to shop, eat, party, yet return to a quiet and comfortable hotel for relaxation. A recommended accommodation in Patong is the Grand Mercure Phuket Patong. Although not directly on the beach, it’s just a 5-minute walk away. Its proximity to the beach allows guests to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this world-class beach destination.

Upon entering, the first thing you’ll encounter is a spacious lobby adorned with elegant decorations, stretching gracefully. Looking outside, you’ll see views of the surrounding hotel buildings and the swimming pool.

The swimming pool is located in the center of the resort, designed in a lagoon-style. It features multiple depths and includes a separate pool for children.

The lobby area serves as a gathering point and also hosts various hotel facilities. If you’re looking for a recommendation for delicious tea and cakes, I suggest Chou Chou café. They serve a variety of cakes along with coffee, Italian sodas, and a wide range of beverages.

The lobby bar is excellent, spacious, and offers comfortable seating. It has multiple charging points and serves interesting and innovative drinks. Additionally, they have pool tables available.

The fitness center is also located within the lobby building. It offers a variety of exercise equipment for guests to use freely.

The room type that tends to be fully booked most of the time is the One Bedroom Pool Villa. It offers a private villa measuring 115 square meters. What people appreciate about it is the clear division of space for the bathroom, living room, bedroom, and kitchen. The amenities provided are comprehensive, including shower gel, lotion, shampoo, and refreshing scents. There are also several bottles of drinking water available.

Another room type is the Deluxe Pool Access, located on the first floor of the accommodation building. These rooms provide direct access to the swimming pool, which is exclusively for guests staying in the Pool Access rooms. It’s not connected to the central swimming pool, which creates a peaceful and private atmosphere. The amenities provided are comprehensive as well.

The Deluxe Suite is a room type that offers panoramic views of the resort surroundings. It features a walk-in closet, separate living room, and bedroom, each with its own distinct area. The amenities provided are comprehensive, and the room itself feels spacious and airy with wide sliding glass doors, providing a bright and open atmosphere. We particularly like this room the most among the three room types we’ve reviewed.

Bubbles Restaurant is an all-day dining venue. Currently, they are offering a promotion featuring authentic and organic Thai cuisine as a set menu. It’s both delicious and healthy. This set menu features fresh vegetables, and the standout dish is the crispy morning glory with fried turmeric sand whiting fish.

The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, especially the seafood noodles. The international buffet line features Thai, local, and Western dishes, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit juices, bakery items, and traditional Thai desserts. You’ll be so satisfied that you might even skip lunch!

Tolani Resort Koh Kood, part of the Tolani hotel brand, is the ultimate dream destination where you can fulfill your fantasies of a perfect getaway. Living the island life like a true islander at Tolani Resort Koh Kood, the accommodations here boast an unparalleled level of uniqueness. They capture the essence of Koh Kood with its pristine, crystal-clear waters, radiant sunshine, and lush, vibrant tropical foliage. However, at times, the vibes of Tolani Resort Koh Kood transport us to the ambiance of Pacific Ocean islands like Polynesia through its decor themes, incorporating elements such as thatched roofs, wooden materials, intricate paint patterns, and meticulous decorative details.

The Beachfront Villa is a tropical-style villa situated right on the beachfront, parallel to the shoreline. Guests can enjoy views of the sea directly from the bed, and stepping out onto the villa’s balcony, they’ll be greeted by nothing but the vast ocean, a long stretch of white sandy beach, and coconut trees. The atmosphere of the villa is tranquil and private. Guests staying in this villa can fully immerse themselves in the sea, just a few meters away. The villa is equipped with all modern amenities, including air conditioning, television, refrigerator, minibar, internet access, and a set of lounge chairs for relaxation.

The Hilltop Duplex Bungalow offers a tropical-style accommodation nestled amidst natural surroundings, allowing guests to embrace the islander lifestyle in the jungle. The ambiance invites guests to imagine a serene retreat, where stepping out onto the balcony might reveal sightings of exotic birds or a curious monkey. While these encounters may not always occur, the atmosphere remains effortlessly cool and chic, reminiscent of a luxurious villa set within a vast jungle.

The Beachfront Pool Villa is the most luxurious accommodation type offered by Tolani Resort Koh Kood. Inside, the room is decorated similarly to the Beachfront Villa, but with the added special feature of a private plunge pool.

Apart from relaxing at the resort and kayaking through the canal, this spot is where the canal meets the sea. On both sides of the canal, there are houses and stunning mangrove forests to explore. While paddling tiredly, you can take a break to sip coffee and enjoy snacks at a small café. There are also docking points for kayaks.

In the late afternoon, as the tide recedes, a long stretch of sandbar emerges, allowing for leisurely walks from Tolani Resort Koh Kood all the way to the mouth of the canal.

A bit later in the evening, wait to witness the sunset together. The wooden bridge at Tolani Resort Koh Kood is the most beautiful spot for sunset viewing.

We visited Koh Kood because we couldn’t bring our car across the island ferry, and riding motorcycles on the island might not be convenient. We dined at the Happy Hotel, which had the best dining options. The cuisine from the kitchen of Molano Koh Kood offers a variety of choices, including Thai and fusion dishes. Here are the dishes we tried there: our favorite was the fried shrimp salad, followed by the creamy crab soup, seafood noodles, fried shrimp cakes, and not to be missed, the garlic fried prawns. These garlic prawns are a famous dish from Trat province.

For breakfast, we were offered a choice between American breakfast and Thai dishes from the menu.

Experience the essence of Koh Kood as an islander at Tolani Resort Koh Kood. Immerse yourself in island life, surrounded by nature’s beauty, with stunning skies and breathtaking seas. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and let yourself fall in love with Tolani Resort Koh Kood, just like we did.

Review of De Chaochom Hua Hin, seaside accommodation near Hua Hin center.

De Chaochom Hua Hin is a compact seaside accommodation located in the heart of Hua Hin. Its name derives from the land that once served as the summer retreat of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, a member of the royal family during the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). The resort exudes a nostalgic atmosphere of old Hua Hin yet maintains a timeless charm. It offers a range of accommodations including private pool villas and traditional houses. The ambiance of the resort is tranquil and cozy, without feeling crowded.

You can feel the sea breeze gently caressing your face as soon as you arrive. The refreshing sea breeze is wonderfully cool and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the interconnected pathways throughout the resort, shaded and serene, reminiscent of strolling through a magical forest. From the signature pavilion of De Chaochom Hua Hin, you can catch glimpses of the sea stretching out just in front of the resort.

The accommodation here typically consists of villa-style units, and the room we stayed in is a pool villa. It offers a high level of privacy with tall, close-set fences, making swimming convenient and comfortable. The pool is compact yet adequately sized. Inside, there’s a relaxation area with sofas, a sleeping area, his and hers basins in the dressing area, a rain shower, and a bathtub.

You can order afternoon tea to be served in the room. The tea set includes Thai sweets accompanied by hot tea and cold beverages, provided in sufficient quantities for two people to enjoy.

And if you opt for a little extra in the morning, you can enjoy a private floating breakfast served at your own villa.

Alternatively, if you prefer a buffet-style breakfast, you can enjoy it by the poolside in the outdoor dining area. It’s a relaxing spot to soak in the cool breeze. While the breakfast buffet isn’t extensive, everything offered is delicious and satisfying.

The beachfront villa, now named Baan Metha, features 4 bedrooms and is a two-story house right by the beach. It offers clear ocean views and is conveniently located near the swimming pool. The villa is divided into lower and upper level bedrooms, and this particular room also includes a bathtub.

The spacious villa, named Baan Jantara, is ideal for family vacations. It comprises 4 bedrooms, each uniquely decorated. On the upper level, you can enjoy ocean views from a large balcony. However, this accommodation does not feature bathtubs.

The Wooden House Villa is a highly classic and beautiful villa adorned with ancient-style wooden lattice patterns. Situated right by the beach, it offers full ocean views. The villa is surrounded by lush green gardens, which not only provide shade but also create privacy for guests. Inside, the Wooden House Villa is fully equipped with modern amenities to ensure comfort while still maintaining the classic Hua Hin atmosphere.

The long swimming pool almost touches the sea and includes small jacuzzis. This corner is another beautiful spot for taking photos.

Yes, you can borrow bicycles. There’s a public park near De Chaochom Hua Hin, located not far from the seaside. It takes about 10 minutes to ride there.

You can make beachfront dinner reservations in advance with the staff. They will arrange tables for you. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including fresh seafood. The dipping sauces are also spicy and flavorful.

De Chaochom Hua Hin doesn’t have many rooms, and they tend to fill up quickly, especially during weekends and holidays. Booking in advance greatly increases your chances of securing a room. However, if you prefer a quieter and more private experience, visiting on regular weekdays could be a good option.

Review: Koh Kood Paradise Beach Resort, A Seaside Lover’s Paradise

I’ve been there and I’m really impressed, I want to recommend Koh Kood Paradise Beach Resort, a tropical-style beachfront accommodation. If you’re looking to experience Koh Kood in a private atmosphere, enjoying the sea, lounging on the sand, kayaking, and feeling like you own the beach, then this is the place for you. What’s also impressive is the chic orange swimming pool that perfectly complements the white sandy beach against the backdrop of clear blue sea. It’s a relaxing atmosphere that truly embodies the paradise of Koh Kood.

The sea of Koh Kood stands out like no other among the seas in the eastern region. Its crystal-clear waters resemble glass, and the fine white sand feels as soft as powder. Therefore, the activity I highly recommend when visiting Koh Kood is to fully indulge in its natural beauty. After a tiring journey, seeing the sea in this way instantly revitalizes you. You’ll want to swim in the sea, kayak, and snorkel to your heart’s content.

A pool with orange-colored water by the sea is a rare find in Thailand, chosen by hotels for its unique and ultra-chic appeal. It’s a perfect spot for taking some amazing photos. The pool is of a suitable length and depth for enjoyable swimming, with small whirlpool zones for relaxing dips. For those who prefer not to swim, there are plenty of loungers around the poolside for relaxation and photo opportunities. Chairs are strategically placed along the pool’s edge for convenience.

The hotel’s restaurant, located by the poolside, offers all-day dining. Breakfast is served here. As for lunch and dinner, I recommend dining by the poolside or at tables by the beach for a better experience. You’ll get to enjoy the cool breeze, admire the sky and sea, and savor fresh seafood dishes fitting for an island experience. The pizzas are delicious as well, served in large trays. Just ordering one for two people is quite filling!

Koh Kood Paradise Beach Resort offers a variety of room types, but it focuses on the concept of Thai villa-style amidst tropical gardens. The Beach Front Villa is considered the highlight of the resort as it is located right by the beach, matching the size of the white sandy shores. It’s like opening the room door to a breathtaking sea view. There are only 4 villas situated directly facing the beach, just as seen in the reviews.

The Family Villa, designed for family relaxation, features 2 bedrooms with a central living area connecting them. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. I particularly liked the spacious bathrooms, which include both a shower area and a toilet. The amenities provided are standard, including a refrigerator, television, safe box, Wi-Fi, complimentary bottled water, bathrobes, soap, and shampoo.

The Garden Villa, situated slightly further back, offers tranquility amidst lush greenery. Surrounded by shady trees, it provides a peaceful environment. The interior is decorated in the same style as the Beachfront Villas, with a warm and inviting ambiance.

The Superior room, which is the entry-level option, is located in a three-story building at the rear but not far from the lobby. Some parts of the sea view can be seen from this building, which is a two-story structure. The interior is decorated in a Thai-contemporary style, with the same amenities provided as the other room types.

The fitness center provides various equipment for exercising. If you’re visiting for several days and want to burn calories, we’re looking for a fitness center.

The sunset is incredibly beautiful. For those who are traveling, I suggest heading to the beach around 6 o’clock to catch the sunset.

Breakfast includes both Thai and Western dishes. Normally, I prefer Thai food, but at Koh Kood Paradise Beach Resort, the aroma of Western food was enticing. So, I tried it and fell in love. It was so delicious that I ended up having two plates, one with spaghetti and the other with roasted potatoes. In addition to that, there were various pastries, salads, yogurts, cereals, milk, fruit juices, and different kinds of bakery items available.

Ending the trip with a swim in the orange-colored pool before heading home sounds like a perfect way to wrap up the visit to Koh Kood. It’s truly amazing!
