“Chala Number 6” – A centrally located accommodation in Chiang Mai with a view overlooking the majestic Wat Chedi Luang.

“Chala Number 6” is an oasis of freshness in the heart of Chiang Mai. Just stepping through the hotel’s entrance, you will encounter tranquility and privacy amidst lush gardens.

“Chala Number 6” is designed and decorated in a contemporary style infused with the essence of Lanna art and culture. Starting from the lobby, where Lanna-dressed teddy bears warmly welcome guests.

The hotel accommodation building will be constructed adjacent to the centrally located swimming pool.

The accommodation starts with Deluxe rooms, available in both Deluxe Double and Deluxe Twins. The teddy bears in the room can be purchased as souvenirs. Additionally, hats are available for guests to borrow during their stay.

The bathroom is luxuriously decorated, even though it may not be very spacious. However, it is fully equipped with everything we need. It includes a bathtub, a separate shower area with a rainfall showerhead, and what I love the most are the high-quality and fragrant bath and skincare products. Their unique scent sets them apart from anywhere else.

This room is particularly popular because it features a jacuzzi, giving the sensation of bathing in a garden. It also includes a mini spa set for guests to enjoy. The Deluxe Private Jacuzzi is located on the bottom floor of the building.

“Chala Number 6” is located very close to Wat Chedi Luang, allowing guests to enjoy a clear view of the temple from the hotel building. The Chala Royal Suite Room is a top-tier accommodation option where guests can marvel at the view of Wat Chedi Luang up close. This room is the pinnacle of luxury, blending contemporary style with Lanna influences. Inside, it offers ample space divided into distinct areas for sleeping, lounging, and bathing.

The ancient Lanna-style granary, which has remained original throughout the years, has been renovated by the hotel to become the location of the Rice Barn Bar and the hotel’s dining room. At night, this spot illuminates beautifully with lights.

The Rice Barn Bar serves a variety of beverages amidst beautiful and colorful lighting.

The cuisine here features both Northern Thai dishes like Khao Soi (curried noodle soup with chicken) and a selection of Northern delicacies such as Sai Ua (Northern Thai sausage), Nam Prik Nong (Northern Thai chili dip), Gang Hang Lay (Northern Thai curry), and Fried Fermented Pork. It combines the signature dishes of Northern Thai cuisine into one plate.

One particularly charming aspect here is that the hotel keeps a pair of bantam chickens, which adds a delightful touch. You can even pet them! Staff members allow these two bantam chickens to roam around for a while. They stroll around, greeting guests with their presence.

There are small amenities provided for guests to enjoy, such as mini-games. Additionally, guests are not confined to swimming in the pool; they can also order a bucket set and snacks to enjoy by the poolside.

Or you can opt for a delightful afternoon tea. The food here is reasonably priced and delicious.

Waya Spa

Breakfast here is served à la carte and comes in generous portions with a wide variety to choose from. You can enjoy your meal in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, making it a great way to start your day feeling fantastic.

Ending your meal with a cup of coffee sounds perfect. Here’s an Americano. Pineapple juice would be refreshing as well. Enjoy!
