Review of the Nattilus Restaurant at Kundala Beach Resort.

I’m going to Hua Hin and want to find delicious food to enjoy in a beachfront setting, beautifully decorated in a café style. Why not try Nautilus Restaurant or the Nattilus Beach Cafe-style restaurant by the Khao Takiab beach? Besides offering a diverse menu, it looks appealing both in terms of food presentation and ambiance.

Nautilus Restaurant is an all-day dining venue that operates throughout the day. The cuisine highlights a fusion of flavors, featuring both international and Thai dishes, as well as offering set picnic options. Located by the seaside, it provides a refreshing sea breeze and a light, comfortable atmosphere. If you express a desire for a beachside picnic, the staff will promptly arrange and bring the prepared meal to you. Additionally, even guests not staying at the hotel are welcome to enjoy the services. It’s advisable to make reservations in advance for a smoother experience.

This set picnic option is definitely a great value. It’s not just about emphasizing aesthetics for photography purposes; the focus is on providing a substantial and satisfying meal for two people. Priced at 550 baht per set, it offers a generous amount of light and filling food. The optimal time for a picnic experience is around 5 PM when you can enjoy sitting by the beach without the heat, with a view of Khao Takiab and a pleasant atmosphere as the sun starts to set.

If you want to have a sincere dining experience, head straight to the main building. The restaurant is open-air, providing panoramic views of the sea. It follows a beachfront and restaurant lounge café style, creating an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. The décor is themed in shades of blue and white, enhancing the overall chic and cool ambiance.

Today, we tried a new menu to welcome the rainy season. It’s a flavorful dish with a touch of herbs, featuring “Grilled Pork with Cha Phlu Leaves” priced at 220 baht. This unique dish wraps grilled pork with Cha Phlu leaves, giving the pork a tender texture and a delightful aroma of the leaves. Enjoy it with dipping sauce and noodles. Next up is the “Tofu with Assorted Condiments,” a delicious choice for those who love egg tofu. The well-rounded taste comes at a price of 220 baht. For seafood lovers, we recommend the “Stir-Fried Seafood in Chili Paste,” which is both spicy and aromatic with herbs. A generous portion is available for 290 baht. The “Boiled Clear Soup with Tender Pork” offers a similar satisfying spiciness, priced at 250 baht. To conclude the meal, we indulged in the popular “Mango Sticky Rice” priced at 130 baht, a delightful way to end the dining experience at Nautilus.

The beauty of a drink like young coconut coffee lies in its subtlety. The taste is not overly sweet, allowing the delicate flavor of young coconut to shine through. It features the fragrance of young coconut with added coconut flesh, providing a refreshing experience. If you’re not a coffee drinker, Nautilus Restaurant offers a variety of Italian sodas with different flavors to choose from. Alternatively, you can opt for a fresh and invigorating yogurt smoothie for a delightful beverage option.

The restaurant operates from 07:00 to 23:00 with the last order taken at 22:00.

Review of Novotel Phuket Vintage Park, a 4-star accommodation located on Patong Beach.

Patong is the ultimate classic destination that anyone visiting Phuket must explore. Staying here offers convenience in every aspect – from dining, shopping, to the long and expansive white sandy beach. The fine and detailed sand is particularly beautiful during the sunset. Choosing to stay here allows you to experience the full flavor of Phuket. For today’s hotel recommendation, Novotel Phuket Vintage Park in the Patong Beach area is highly recommended. It is a 4-star accommodation with a large swimming pool and a variety of activities. Staying here ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience without any dull moments.

Novotel Phuket Vintage Park is located in the heart of Patong. Despite not being directly on the beach, it is conveniently within a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach. The surroundings are filled with restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and clothing stores, making the stroll to the beach a delightful experience. The accommodation itself features a Thai-Contemporary architectural style, with a warm and charming welcome from the staff upon entering. When it comes to service and convenience, you can trust the Novotel brand.

The accommodation starts with a Superior Room, which is 33 square meters in size, making it a comfortable and affordable starting option. The price is charming and affordable, considering it provides all the amenities expected from a 4-star hotel. Guests can choose between a single or double bed, and the room offers a view of the swimming pool.

We consider the Deluxe Room to be highly worthwhile. This room is spacious, covering 38 square meters, and offers amenities similar to the Superior Room, but with the addition of a bathtub. The room provides a view of the swimming pool, just like the Superior Room.

This room is the most popular – the Deluxe Pool Access. With just a few steps down from the bed, you can directly jump into the pool. There is a terrace connecting to the swimming pool, and you can relax by sitting there and enjoying the poolside atmosphere. Inside the room, there is a sense of privacy. Even though it’s close to the swimming pool where people may come to swim, you won’t hear any loud noises from outside. The room is equipped with a bathtub and a comfortable, soft bed.

The main swimming pool is spacious, covering an area of 2,000 square meters, providing ample space for enjoyable activities. It features separate zones for children and adults, as well as a waterfall curtain.

For breakfast, we opted for the floating breakfast experience (additional charges apply). It offers a blend of American breakfast and Asian styles.

To complete the enjoyment, ordering a drink at the Velvet Pool Bar will add to the pleasure.

For dinner, we dined at The Square, the international restaurant of Novotel Vintage Park. We ordered Thai dishes, and the Thai flavors were truly authentic – from the seasoning to the quality of ingredients. Everything was delicious.

Novotel Phuket Vintage Park has fitness facilities for health enthusiasts, such as a fitness center.

And it’s also a family-friendly hotel, suitable for a relaxing stay with your family. Besides the children’s pool, there is also a Kids Club.

However, for those feeling weary, the Inbalance Spa is a must-visit. This spa, representing both the oriental and Thai influences, offers a comprehensive experience. The spa utilizes products derived from Thai herbs known for their skin-nourishing properties. The aromatic scents not only contribute to physical well-being but also aid in mental relaxation. Stepping into the spa, with the combination of music, fragrances, and ambiance, assures a truly rejuvenating experience. It’s a perfect way to unwind and guarantee a good night’s sleep after a day of exploration and activities.

Pranburi Beachfront Pool Villas, a luxurious villa in a coconut grove, Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas.

Anyone who loves staying at Pool Villas must read this review. This is a villa that I believe anyone who has tried staying here would want to come back to. Located on the quiet beachfront of Pranburi, Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas offers a serene atmosphere with a small road separating the villa from the sea. It’s not overly quiet here; in the evenings, this area comes alive with street food reminiscent of a pedestrian street. People gather to enjoy the sea view under the shades during the windy sunset. Whether you’re looking for something to eat, relax, or go for a run, there’s plenty of vibrant options to explore.

Our villa is nestled amidst the surrounding trees, complemented by a solid perimeter wall that acts as a barrier, providing us with a private and secluded retreat. What sets Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas apart from other pool villas I’ve stayed in is the size of the villa itself. The total area of the villa is an impressive 248 square meters, resembling more of a standalone house. This spaciousness doesn’t just apply to the villa alone but encompasses the entire area. The highlight is undoubtedly the generously sized swimming pool, accompanied by a waterside pavilion that comfortably accommodates 4-5 for a relaxed terrace lounging. The relaxation extends to the outdoor-style bathtub surrounded by the pool, offering a picturesque view. It feels like soaking in the midst of nature. The atmosphere is serene, tranquil, and extremely private.

Let’s take a look inside the villa. Although not excessively large, the villa is comfortably utilized. The centrally positioned bed provides the utmost comfort. The bathroom is decorated in a tropical style, with an impressive touch being the outdoor shower. It’s not often that we get the chance to shower amidst the natural surroundings like this, and it’s incredibly refreshing, not to mention the added benefit of complete privacy.

For those planning to relax exclusively within the villa, you can order afternoon tea to be served in the villa itself. The tea set includes various pastries, brownies, and delightful treats. However, the highlight is the crispy-fried mantis shrimp, a fresh and crunchy delight served with crispy noodles. It’s a perfect light snack to satisfy your hunger before dinner.

Floating breakfast can also be ordered to enjoy by the private poolside.

The atmosphere within the hotel area is lush and refreshing, akin to strolling through a tropical water lily garden. Surrounded by tropical gardens, there are plenty of picturesque spots, with the most popular being the narrow pathways flanked by tall, swaying coconut trees. These pathways create a long shaded walkway, offering sun protection throughout the day.

The Main Swimming Pool is located at the forefront of the area, adjacent to the beach. The pool is spacious enough and tends not to be too busy. This might be because guests prefer swimming in their private villa pools. In this zone, there is a fitness center and leisure seating areas with a relaxing atmosphere and a view of the sea. In the morning, if you wake up early and head to the pool or fitness center, you can enjoy the sunrise view.

Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas is only a short distance away from the sea, just like this. In the evening, it gets lively to a reasonable extent, and when the tide goes down in the evening, you can see the beach. It’s perfect for water activities.

The Luna la Pran restaurant is a dining establishment from Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas, located right by the sea. Guests from outside are also welcome to dine there.

The menu offers a diverse selection with an emphasis on Thai fusion cuisine, although Italian options are also available. Today, we’re focusing on Thai cuisine. A highly recommended dish is the ‘Yum Kung Cha-buay Fu,’ which is incredibly delicious. It starts with crispy-fried shrimp topped with a flavorful green mango salad dressing that is both tangy and sweet. The stir-fried noodles with squid ink are outstanding, featuring fresh seafood. Simple dishes like Basil Stir-fry and large chunks of Grilled Salmon with dill are also satisfying. For dessert, the Pineapple Sorbet is a bit challenging to find but delightful. The combination of shaved ice and pineapple is refreshingly sweet and tangy, complementing the overall dining experience.

The evening lights from our villa are enchanting, and in the morning, we get to witness the sunrise gently emerging.

The breakfast offers a delightful variety with plenty of choices. The taste is not overly intense, which suits morning meals well. There’s an international buffet with a diverse selection of pastries, fresh vegetables, and fruits.

After finishing breakfast, the trip is almost coming to an end. Taking a leisurely stroll for a bit, then heading back to enjoy some more swimming at the villa before checking out. For those eagerly awaiting great promotions from Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas, you can stay tuned for updates on the channels provided below. There are ongoing promotions from time to time.

Review at Villa by the Beach, Seaside Atmosphere, Coral Tree Villa Hua Hin.

If you’re looking for a quiet and private villa-style accommodation in Hua Hin, look no further than Coral Tree Villa Hua Hin. This seaside accommodation is close to everything you need, situated right by the beach and in proximity to the vibrant Hua Hin night market, Cicada Market, and numerous renowned cafes and restaurants. What’s more, the hotel’s food is delicious. Let me show you just how delightful Coral Tree Villa Hua Hin is.

Coral Tree Villa Hua Hin is a resort-style accommodation where each room is designed as a villa, providing a high level of privacy. The resort’s land extends along the seaside, offering a vast stretch of coastline. The beach is relatively secluded with few people, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for water activities. Each villa is surrounded by lush greenery, adding a serene touch to the surroundings.

Upon arrival, you will find the parking area and a buggy service is available for check-in. Today’s accommodation is the Pool Villa, featuring a private pool surrounded by a fence, allowing you to comfortably wear swimwear and take photos without worry. The interior of the villa is a well-proportioned 80 square meters, with designated areas for the bathroom, sleeping area, sofa, and balcony.

You can order afternoon tea to enjoy in the room or take it by the poolside, which is a cool option. The pastries are delicious, and what’s unique is that they include mango with sweet fish sauce, adding an interesting and tasty touch.

The walk to the swimming pool is not far at all. The pool is located in front, adjacent to the dining area, and it is right by the sea. The swimming pool is very inviting, with plenty of photo opportunities. There are both a kids’ pool and an adult pool. Swimming in the cool sea breeze is truly delightful.

The sea in front of the beach is perfect for playing. The beach is free of sharp rocks, allowing for enjoyable water activities. The small, charming seashells along the shoreline add to the overall cuteness of the beach.

A small beachside bar with a trendy beach cafe style.

In the evening, I highly recommend trying the absolute must-try dish – the seaside BBQ pork. It’s incredibly satisfying with fresh seafood, delicious dipping sauces, and the pork is cooked to perfection. We also indulged in a set meal consisting of 2-3 additional dishes. The butter-roasted lobster was particularly excellent. It’s a great combination of ambiance, quality, and value for money that you definitely shouldn’t miss.

The accommodation offers two additional room types: the Premier Sea View Villa, spacious at 40 square meters, providing a partial sea view. Though not directly facing the sea, it’s still in close proximity to both the sea and the swimming pool. This villa is situated in the midst of a comfortable garden, ensuring a relaxing stay.

This is the Seafront Grand Villa, right on the beachfront. The villa offers a spacious 90 square meters, with a wide terrace providing a panoramic view of the sea. Emphasizing privacy, the villa is surrounded by high walls. Inside, the villa is fully equipped with all amenities, including a Jacuzzi tub for added luxury.

The breakfast is just right in terms of portion, neither too much nor too little, but exceptionally delicious. You can continuously order from the à la carte menu, ensuring a satisfying morning meal.

Ended the Hua Hin trip in a happy mode. The accommodation was excellent, located by the sea, with charming service. The place itself is lovely too – Coral Tree Villa Hua Hin.

Art and Culture of Lanna to the Ultimate Riverside Retreat at Ping Cross Chiang Mai Riverside

Without saying, it’s well-known that Cross hotels provide an impressive experience for savvy travelers. However, judging from mere photographs may not convey the full essence compared to experiencing it firsthand. That’s the inspiration behind the Chiang Mai trip and the delightful stay at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside. The accommodation seamlessly blends the chic and contemporary Cross style with the rich cultural heritage of Chiang Mai, creating a perfectly balanced and charming retreat. It’s the perfect destination for a blissful and modern getaway.

Cross Chiang Mai Riverside welcomes us with cool brick walls that we’ve seen passing through the city walls of Chiang Mai. Upon entering through these walls, we encounter a lobby with playful light and shadow designs. The incredibly welcoming staff greets us with a personalized welcome drink, complete with our names written on a chocolate. This is the distinctive welcome signature of Cross, capturing the hearts of discerning travelers.

After completing the smooth check-in process, we walk through a small corridor adorned with decorative mirrors to allow natural light to filter through. Suddenly, our gaze catches a glimpse of something beyond the brick walls. Little did we know that behind those walls lies a beautiful garden within the hotel premises. At the heart of the garden stands a large tree with sprawling branches, providing shade over the entire area. Next to it, the traditional Lanna-style pond is nearby. This pond, historically used by local Lanna communities, has been beautifully restored, adding to its charm and making it a captivating sight.

Inside, there are lounge areas designed as cozy sitting rooms, complete with views of the beautiful garden. These spaces provide a relaxing atmosphere where guests can unwind while enjoying the picturesque scenery of the lush garden.

A bit further along, there’s a larger corridor housing classic red-colored vintage cars, serving as an iconic setting. This pathway leads to the riverside restaurant, situated along the Ping River. It’s another picturesque spot perfect for capturing beautiful photos.

The Oxygen Dining Room, an all-day dining restaurant in a glasshouse style, offers a spacious and airy atmosphere beneath the shade of tamarind trees, providing a breathtaking view of the Ping River. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy afternoon tea, with each pastry being a delectable delight. For those who have never experienced it, or for pastry enthusiasts, trying the various cakes is a must. The set menu is highly recommended for two, offering great value.

The Grand Suite River View is the second-highest tier of accommodation at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside, and we absolutely loved our stay in this room. It offers a high level of privacy, providing stunning views of the river and the lush trees. The balcony is incredibly spacious, making it a perfect spot to relax. The room itself is comfortably spacious, featuring modern and stylish design with playful lighting and shadow elements, which is a signature design characteristic of Cross.

In the room, the welcoming touch of Cross is evident with the adorable welcome amenity – a personalized Mocktail kit complete with recipes and instructions. The kit is well-equipped, and to add to the delightful surprise, there is an additional complimentary box of treats provided.

The Top Rooms, limited to only two, are in high demand. The Pool Suite features a private, elongated pool set amidst the lush green garden. The accommodation ensures privacy with a natural barrier of trees serving as a fence, creating a sense of strolling through a personal garden. The room is elegantly decorated with a contemporary touch, particularly the bathroom, where the romantic and sensual atmosphere is enhanced by the colored lighting. Additionally, the room boasts a bathtub for a luxurious bathing experience.

The swimming pool is located on the rooftop of the building, providing a delightful atmosphere with a cool breeze throughout. Before the pool closes at 1 AM, I recommend trying a nighttime swim. The pool is adorned with starry lights, and when turned on during the night, it creates a mesmerizing ambiance, making it feel like you’re swimming under a twinkling sky.

The fitness center is also located on the rooftop, just like the swimming pool. This setup provides a unique and enjoyable experience, allowing you to work out while enjoying the scenic views from the rooftop.

Exploring the Ping River on a kayak is also a highly enjoyable activity, and it’s offered by the resort as a complimentary service. You just need to inform the staff in advance. During the rainy season, the water may take on a slightly reddish-brown color, as seen in the picture, but generally, they assure that the water is not as turbid.

During the day, the hotel takes advantage of natural light and shadows to create a beautiful play of light in its surroundings. Meanwhile, at night, the hotel impressively orchestrates artificial lighting and shadows, creating a captivating and memorable atmosphere.

In the evening, upon returning to the room, the hotel provides a turn-down service. Along with this service, they offer a delightful touch – a serving of ‘Khao Soi’ and a sleep mask placed neatly on the bed.

The breakfast at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside is an unforgettable Champagne Breakfast Buffet. It offers a diverse and high-quality selection, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The dishes are served one after another, and the buffet includes a variety of options like mini salad bar, yogurt, and a fruit station. We chose to sit outside, captivated by the enchanting riverside garden atmosphere at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside.

Your Chiang Mai trip sounds absolutely delightful, and I’m thrilled that Cross Chiang Mai Riverside played a significant role in making it special. Recommending it to friends and acquaintances is a fantastic idea. Before you head back, it’s wonderful that you’re leaving with a small and adorable gift – a framed picture along with a photo taken in the hotel. It’s a lovely way to cherish the memories of your happy moments at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside.

Travel to Chiang Mai, stay in Lanna style, sip tea and enjoy the scenery at Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa.

Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa is a Lanna-style accommodation that perfectly reflects the charm of the Lanna region. Conveniently located in the heart of Chiang Mai, it offers a delightful blend of amenities and diverse activities, making it a place where visitors may find it hard to leave. In this review, we will take you on a journey to explore Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa from every impressive perspective.

For those visiting for the first time, it might be surprising to discover that Siripanna is even more expansive than anticipated. With a vast area spanning several acres, it serves as the backdrop for the hotel-style accommodations, private villas, two swimming pools, dining areas, and multiple rice paddies. The lobby is elegantly adorned with teak wood and golden accents, showcasing a distinctive style that unmistakably embodies the charm of Lanna Chiang Mai.

The activities here offer a variety, especially for food enthusiasts. If you arrive in the afternoon, don’t miss out on the dim sum buffet priced at just 239 Baht per person net at the Saliwansyan Restaurant. This price includes beverages and desserts. It’s incredibly worth it; the quality and taste surpass the price by far. Our favorite dishes are the shrimp dumplings, hagao, rad na noodles, and egg noodles. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for those who appreciate high-quality food at an affordable price.

After enjoying a satisfying meal, we decided to take a leisurely stroll and explore the rice fields. It was a delightful experience, especially as we had the opportunity to witness various stages of rice cultivation, including plowing the fields, planting seedlings, and harvesting, depending on the season. The guests staying at the resort even have the chance to try their hand at rice planting (additional charges may apply). The area boasts ancient Lanna-style granaries that are well-preserved and carefully maintained, adding to the charm of the surroundings.

You can indeed order Afternoon Tea to be enjoyed in your room, or if you prefer, you can opt to have it under the traditional Lanna-style granary while enjoying the view of the rice fields. The delightful set typically includes pastries, cakes, and a selection of hot and cold beverages. The delicious treats are presented with care, providing a delightful experience whether you choose to savor them in the comfort of your room or amidst the scenic beauty of the rice fields.

Your accommodation is a Deluxe Lanna Plunge Pool Access room, exquisitely decorated in the Lanna style. The interior lighting is designed to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere, providing a sense of tranquility. This room comes with a terrace that seamlessly connects to a plunge pool. With just a few steps outside your room, you can enjoy a refreshing swim. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, adding to the luxurious features of the room.

If you desire a room with a beautiful view of pristine, clean, and bright white tones, I would recommend the Deluxe Gallery room. This accommodation is situated in the building at the back, requiring a short walk from the main facilities. However, the upside is that it offers a refreshing and eye-pleasing view, making it a comfortable and pleasant choice.

The Royal Lanna Villa is a villa-style accommodation set in a tranquil and private garden. The interior is thoughtfully designed with clear delineation of living spaces. It encompasses a private garden area, a relaxation pavilion, a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom featuring a centrally placed round bathtub. This setup provides a perfect blend of privacy and luxury, making your stay comfortable and serene.

The atmosphere of the hotel is pleasantly shaded and cool, despite the potentially hot weather. Overall, the surroundings are refreshing, thanks to the lush greenery and trees planted throughout the area. Even in warm weather, the ambiance remains comfortable, offering a cool and inviting environment for guests to enjoy.

The hotel features two main swimming pools, with one located near the villa zone. The pool you described has a magical ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery and strategically designed to provide privacy. It resembles a lagoon-style pool, offering both Jacuzzi zones and shallow areas for children, creating a serene and enjoyable atmosphere for guests walking by or taking a dip.

Another pool, situated close to the SLoft building, is slightly smaller. This pool area offers games for guests to enjoy, especially in the lobby area. During the evening, this pool is adorned with colorful lights, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms in this building focus on a modern and trendy style, incorporating a touch of loft design for a chic and contemporary feel.

The Saliwansyan Restaurant is an all-day dining venue with a luxurious and elegant atmosphere, although the prices are reasonable. The flavors are delicious. For breakfast, they offer a buffet line featuring popular Northern Thai dishes such as Northern-style omelets with fermented pork, young chili dip, grilled pork belly, pickled bamboo shoots, and rice porridge. In addition, there are also lines serving Central Thai and Western dishes.

Luxurious, affordable, and truly existent at Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa.

This trip to Chiang Mai has an appointment at Maladee Rendevouz Hotel Chiang Mai.

The newly opened accommodation in the heart of Chiang Mai, near the Ping River, cultural attractions, walking streets, and a plethora of renowned restaurants and cafes, will undoubtedly elevate everyone’s Chiang Mai trip. The Maladee Rendevouz Hotel is designed with a contemporary style, blending vintage charm and modern trends into a distinctive identity. It is another Chiang Mai accommodation that is truly worth considering and reserving.

Maladee Rendevouz is a small luxury hotel offering 34 rooms, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed stay without overcrowding. Guests can enjoy the spacious and well-designed facilities of the hotel in a laid-back atmosphere. The lobby, for example, is expansive and bright, with a staircase that boasts a unique design, making it a perfect photo spot. In addition to serving as a lobby, this area also doubles as a small museum, collecting rare and interesting vintage items. Among them are old printing presses and equipment related to writing and printing, evoking nostalgia for the childhood memories of many visitors.

Walking further into the hotel, at its very center lies a captivating elongated swimming pool that catches the eye. The generously sized, round-shaped Jacuzzi pool is a focal point that unmistakably signifies the arrival at Maladee Rendevouz. This inviting feature is not to be missed – a warm Jacuzzi bath that provides relaxation and promotes good blood circulation, ensuring a truly indulgent experience for guests.

The Superior Room is the entry-level accommodation type that provides a spacious and comfortable living space. With an area of 45 square meters, it offers ample room for relaxation. The room is equipped with a bathtub and is tastefully decorated in warm and soothing tones of blue, white, and cream, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests to unwind.

The Deluxe Pool Access room is our favorite, and it’s a popular choice that many would likely agree with. This room features a special attribute – a balcony that seamlessly connects to the swimming pool. Located in a tranquil zone, opening the balcony door reveals a small garden and a narrow path leading to the pool. The feeling of stepping onto the balcony and directly into the water, crossing a bridge, and reaching the heart of the main swimming pool, then continuing to the round Jacuzzi pool, creates a sense of relaxation and freedom that is truly indescribable.

This bridge is also a beautiful photo spot.

The Dara Suite is a spacious accommodation, measuring 67 square meters. It features separate areas for the bedroom, a TV lounge, a bathroom, and a balcony. The suite includes a large, round-shaped bathtub that invites relaxation and makes it tempting to linger and enjoy without wanting to leave.

The dining options offer a diverse and delectable menu that can be enjoyed at the Rasa Malee Restaurant. The green-themed, pasta-style cafe is chic, trendy, and follows a vintage, chic style. The prices are reasonable, the appearance of the dishes is appetizing, and the quality of both the food and service reflects the hotel’s style.

Tiger Bar, the poolside bar, offers a playful and vibrant atmosphere with refreshing drinks. If you order one glass, it magically multiplies to become two, and then three glasses.

The hotel provides fitness facilities, so you can stay committed to your exercise routine and not miss the chance to burn calories.

อาหารเช้าเป็น a la carte เมนู เสิร์ฟมาน่าทาน กาแฟก็ดีมากด้วย

Relax in a luxurious villa amidst lush green rice fields, surrounded by mountains at Thanyathara Resort, Chiang Mai.

Thantara Resort Chiang Mai perfectly captures the essence of Chiang Mai, offering a complete experience as a cultural, natural, and relaxing destination. The resort blends seamlessly with its surroundings, featuring luxurious villas nestled in the heart of organic rice fields, alongside a tranquil pool, and surrounded by mountains. With a variety of activities available, Thantara Resort Chiang Mai provides a holistic lifestyle retreat, embracing the concept of “Eat Well, Live Well.” Once you stay here, you’ll wish to remain within the hotel grounds, not wanting to venture anywhere else.

Thantara Resort Chiang Mai is situated in the Sansai Kamphaeng district, approximately 20 minutes away from the city center. It offers a resort-style accommodation set amidst the natural beauty of Chiang Mai. The resort spans several acres and includes a variety of amenities such as pool villas, lobby, restaurants, cafes, organic rice fields, rice mill, swimming pool, organic vegetable garden, ancient temple, and expansive relaxation areas suitable for biking or jogging. Additionally, guests are welcome to use scooters or golf carts for recreational purposes. It can be considered as a new kingdom of relaxation in Chiang Mai.

The pool villa we stayed in is the “Sanctuary Villa,” offering views of the rice fields and a private pool. The room includes amenities such as a walk-in closet, complimentary minibar, and wide windows that extend from the floor to the ceiling, allowing us to enjoy the unobstructed views of the rice fields and private pool. It’s the kind of villa that one night is not enough. After staying here, you wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I recommend a minimum of 2 nights for a truly delightful experience. Spend one night enjoying the villa to the fullest – swimming, soaking in the tub, reading a book, or lounging on the soft bed. You can also order food to be served in the villa from Thann Restaurant. The other night, you can have fun with the various activities offered by the resort, which are quite diverse.

The first activity that we enjoyed immensely was the afternoon tea, set amidst the scenic backdrop of the swimming pool and the rice fields. The delicious pastries complemented the picturesque view perfectly.

In the late afternoon, when the shade and cool breeze set in, I highly recommend cycling. Bicycles are conveniently available in front of every villa at no extra cost. For those seeking a more exciting experience, there are golf carts and scooters ready nearby. It’s truly enjoyable and exhilarating, especially when the wind gently touches your face. During the breezy moments, riding a golf cart through the rice fields is both enjoyable and soothing. If you wish to explore further, you can contact the lobby, and they provide this service with additional charges. Additionally, there’s an activity involving rice planting. I appreciate the fact that they provide a bathroom for refreshing and washing up after the activity.

It’s a fun and informative experience to learn that cultivating rice in a full field is quite challenging. The farmers must bend and stoop for extended periods, leading to back discomfort. The rice grown here is organic, and the resort produces its own aromatic and soft rice. It’s a recommended product that you can purchase and take home.

Furthermore, the resort places great emphasis on sustainability, environmental friendliness, and community involvement. They have small vegetable plots that yield produce used within the resort. There’s also a chicken farm for egg production.

During the turn-down service, aside from the delicious almond cookies and the crisply made bed, they also provide a set of traditional Northern Thai pajamas for you to wear. These pajamas are incredibly comfortable, and I found myself wearing them throughout the day. If you’re fortunate enough to stay here, you’ll be captivated by this historical site, which was originally an ancient temple. The owners have beautifully restored it into Wat Tham Chai, a place for morning merit-making and almsgiving. In the morning, you can participate in the almsgiving ceremony at this location. The resort can arrange for offerings and ceremonial items for you to partake in the merit-making rituals.

When it comes to dining, Thantara Resort in Chiang Mai certainly doesn’t disappoint. In the evening, we had our meal at Thann Restaurant, where we could enjoy the surrounding views of the resort. The atmosphere was particularly enchanting as the sun was setting. The Thai fusion cuisine offered at the restaurant was exceptional, with every dish recommended by the chef proving to be delicious.

Breakfast is served at Thann Restaurant as usual, with an à la carte menu. The variety of dishes served is unlimited, allowing you to enjoy both savory and sweet options continuously.

Ending the day with the evening lights reflecting the luxurious and splendid atmosphere of Thantara Resort in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai in the most classic location, The Chiang Mai Old Town.

The Chiang Mai Old Town makes us fall in love with Chiang Mai even more. This trip is incredibly convenient, offering luxury at an affordable price that you can grasp. What we love about The Chiang Mai Old Town, besides being the heart of Chiang Mai, is the abundance of details that make you feel genuinely cared for as a guest through heartfelt hospitality.

The guest care at The Chiang Mai Old Town is impressive right from the moment you arrive. You can conveniently park in front of the hotel, and the parking area is not only right by the road but also safe. The lobby is close by, and what’s particularly noteworthy is the welcome drink and various snacks available throughout the day. There’s a cozy lounge where you can relax, enjoy coffee, read a book, or even wait for your flight if you’ve already checked out. It truly enhances the overall experience.

The Chiang Mai Old Town, along with the unmentioned aspects, is the best central location in Chiang Mai. The accommodation is situated near a road that provides easy access to Tha Pae Walking Street. Additionally, both Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang are in close proximity. If you plan to organize a temple-hopping trip, you can cover all these temples in a short amount of time. For those who enjoy indulging in delicious food and prefer a slow travel experience, the area offers a wide selection of restaurants and coffee shops. If you don’t want to venture too far, The Vorra Bistro, the hotel’s cafe, is a cozy option. Upon entering The Vorra Bistro, you’ll be captivated by its appealing ambiance. The bistro serves a variety of coffee beverages and, in the evening, offers a diverse fusion-style menu at surprisingly reasonable prices. Passing travelers might initially think it’s expensive, but upon exploring the menu, they may find some reasonably priced options. Besides the appealing presentation, the dishes are also delicious. The seating options include luxurious indoor spaces or comfortable outdoor areas.

Today, we had an authentic Italian-style meal that was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. Such prices are certainly hard to come by in Bangkok. The ingredients used and the atmosphere were outstanding. It all began with freshly baked bread served as an appetizer. The warm and fragrant bread was paired with butter while waiting for the main courses. Shortly after, a delightful truffle soup was served, beautifully presented with a rich truffle aroma. The soup featured truffle-infused ingredients in a light, thin pastry, creating a delightful pairing. Truffle enthusiasts would surely not want to miss this. Following that, we enjoyed a burst of flavors with the tuna tarta, which had just the right amount of spiciness, leaving a refreshing taste. The main dishes, Coq Au Vin and Poached Black Cod, were equally delicious. As for desserts, the highlight was the exceptionally tasty Pistachio Tiramisu and Amenovil. The entire dining experience was a delightful journey through authentic Italian flavors.

The Chiang Mai Old Town offers a variety of room types, with a total of 5 options. The room type you stayed in is a Deluxe King, which is elegantly decorated in a contemporary style. Warm and rich tones create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, providing a luxurious and comfortable space to relax. The room is spacious, covering 40 square meters, and features a soft sofa for TV watching, perfect for those relaxing moments. The bed, with premium bedding, offers such comfort that you may unintentionally doze off. The generously sized bathroom adds to the overall comfort, ensuring a pleasant experience. Additionally, each room comes with a balcony, allowing guests to enjoy the surroundings.

The Deluxe Twin or King with Bathtub is decorated similarly to the Deluxe King room. If anyone desires a balcony and a bathtub, this room type is the one to choose. It offers an added space of 50 square meters, ensuring convenience and comfort with all the amenities provided.

The highest-tier room type at The Chiang Mai Old Town is The Heritage House Suite with Balcony, which is located in a traditional wooden house. This suite has been newly renovated into a luxurious accommodation while preserving its original classic charm. The room, spanning 60 square meters, combines the timeless elegance of the past with modern updates, offering an even more relaxing and comfortable stay.

The hotel amenities include a centrally located swimming pool, offering views of rice fields and a simulated staircase. At times, it evokes thoughts of Japan. Additionally, there is a fitness center and spa available.

The Vorra Spa offers an excellent massage experience to the point where one hour feels insufficient. The massage is skillfully executed, and the spa ambiance is serene. It’s a compact-sized spa with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. After the massage, they provide delicious mango sticky rice, which adds to the overall delightful experience.

The breakfast served at The Vorra Bistro is an à la carte menu that allows unlimited choices. Every dish is freshly prepared, using high-quality ingredients. We were impressed by the Provence-style breakfast menu, a unique offering not seen in any other hotel before. The roasted eggplant with cheese was exceptionally delicious, with a thin layer of crepe wrapping tightly around a rich filling of cheese, mushrooms, and spinach, creating a harmonious and flavorful combination. Additionally, there was a Northern-style omelet, served in small and enticing portions, featuring Hang Lay curry, clear chili dip, grilled pork, boiled vegetables, and a set of bread and fruits for each table.

Ended the Chiang Mai trip with a satisfied belly and gained a plethora of additional photos. Personally, I think The Chiang Mai Old Town is suitable for those who want to explore the heart of Chiang Mai, close to popular attractions and renowned restaurants. It offers a trendy and chill atmosphere at an affordable price. The new accommodation is clean, and the facilities include a swimming pool, fitness center, and spa. It’s safe to say it’s great value for the money.
