It was my first time trying it, and I didn’t expect watermelon to go so well with dried fish, but it was delicious. The freshly grilled pork skewers were absolutely fantastic, with a delightful coconut milk aroma from the smoke grilling. The curry was also delicious. In short, the dinner had a bit of everything—Thai, Japanese, and Western cuisines.

For breakfast, if you prefer to stay in the villa, that’s no problem. The breakfast experience should be luxurious and leisurely. We’ll ensure your breakfast is served with top-quality ingredients such as sausages, bacon, and ham—all carefully selected. If you prefer something hot, we can also provide a selection of soups. All of these will be served in a floating tray, making it a delightful and unique experience. Enjoying breakfast this way will surely leave you feeling happy before checking out.

The atmosphere at Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort, is right by the beach, adorned with rows of pine trees along the shoreline. The beach area there is wonderfully serene.

Today, our accommodation is the Signature Suite Oceanfront, located in the building right in front of the beach. It spans 58 square meters, featuring a corner room with a sea view. The balcony is spacious, almost encircling the room, measuring 20 square meters. The highlight for us is the bathroom, which comes with a bathtub facing the sea, offering a relaxing experience while enjoying the view. The room is elegantly decorated in a luxurious and classic cream-white tone, with sea-themed details such as blue bed runners, giving a fresh and cheerful vibe. The bed is exceptionally soft and comfortable. All amenities are provided, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, television, minibar, coffee maker, and complimentary bottled water.

The dim sum is delicious, and there are tasty options like crab soup dumplings, grilled sticky rice, and Sangkhaya toast. The tuna salad is fantastic with its fresh vegetables, spicy salad dressing, and, most importantly, the tuna is excellently prepared and pairs perfectly with their dipping sauces.

After finishing our meal and feeling a bit relaxed, it’s a perfect time for an afternoon tea under the shaded area with a gentle breeze. The tea set and pastries here are absolutely delicious. It’s meant for two people to share, so we had to try to finish everything together. The cakes, including the red velvet, mousse cake, and brownie, are truly delightful. As for the savory items, there are shrimp cocktails and smoked salmon served on small crispy bread slices. Everything can be easily shared and enjoyed. I must say, this afternoon tea set left us feeling pleasantly full until the evening.

Walking along the beach to admire the sunset, followed by dinner on the beach, is incredibly romantic. It’s a meal of cherished memories. For anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, this is the perfect opportunity. The food is delicious, with fresh seafood and beautiful steak dishes. The desserts are delightful, and the cool breeze is soothing. Listening to the sound of the waves while enjoying the meal, taking it slow and savoring the sea view, is truly magical. And when the sun sets, it’s incredibly beautiful. It leaves a lasting impression.

Coming on holiday, you don’t have to worry about gaining weight if you have discipline. Let’s hit the fitness center together. Their fitness facilities are excellent. There are various exercise machines to choose from.

After finishing at the fitness center, the next stop should be the spa to complete the wellness package. The spa located within the garden is a perfect retreat. Immersing yourself in the atmosphere and aromas is truly relaxing. This spa blends Thai traditional techniques with tropical elements. It offers services for both single and couples’ rooms.

The spa offers a variety of treatments. We chose the hot stone massage and the herbal compress massage. It was excellent, incredibly relaxing. Coming to the spa is truly rewarding for oneself. It’s the best way to unwind both body and mind.

At J’s, the breakfast spread includes a wide range of options from Thai, Chinese, and Western cuisines. Additionally, there’s a station serving traditional Phuket dishes like crab soup dumplings and delicious pastries. There’s a variety of cheeses, rice porridge, and noodles available. You’ll be full until lunchtime for sure.

After finishing our meal, we lounged by the poolside before checking out. This holiday was a 100% complete experience at Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort.

Phuket’s weather is great these days, without any hint of rain. When the weather is nice like this, it’s a must to go to the beach. After searching for a beautiful and convenient accommodation in a lovely location, and most importantly, wanting a new hotel, with all the facilities matching the specifications comfortably, good food, and reasonable prices, I found a new hotel to recommend: GLOW Mira Karon Beach. So, let’s go!

GLOW Mira Karon Beach, is a newly opened accommodation with a total of 150 rooms, all designed in a contemporary style. If we were to liken it to a woman, it would be a woman who dresses stylishly and chicly, but once you’re with her, you feel comforted and warm, able to smile throughout the day almost effortlessly.

GLOW Mira Karon Beach is situated in a fantastic location. While it’s not directly on the beach, it’s just a short 350 meters walk away. The private Karon Beach is preferred over other beaches due to its perfect balance between stunning natural beauty and vibrant urban surroundings. It’s a beautiful beach suitable for swimming, with white sand, and it’s not overly quiet or crowded. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the beach at regular intervals, and the staff will inform you about the shuttle schedule during check-in. However, personally, we don’t find the walk to the beach tiring at all.

The rooms at GLOW Mira Karon Beach are decorated in a modern style with intricate details that reflect Phuket’s uniqueness through Sino-Portuguese art. Designed to accommodate both couples and families, this particular room is a Deluxe room measuring 24 square meters. It offers both king-size and twin beds and overlooks the swimming pool.

The Family Suite, sized at 46 square meters, is perfectly suited for accommodating 4 individuals, comprising 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old. These two rooms offer a vibrant atmosphere with lively colors interspersed in the whimsical decor, creating a fresh and spacious ambiance. They feature a comfortable king-size bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed with two levels, perfectly accommodating the party of 4. The separation between the master bedroom and the TV viewing area adds to the privacy. The rooms are equipped with a sofa for relaxation, a wardrobe, a vanity table, a television, a mini-refrigerator, and a separate shower in the bathroom. Additionally, there’s a small balcony to enjoy the view.

Let’s take a look at the amenities together. The main swimming pool is accompanied by a pool bar, which adds to the ultimate relaxation experience. You can lounge by the poolside, sip on refreshing drinks, read a book, or even play with your phone. What a nice holiday indeed!

Chen’s Restaurant, the hotel’s dining venue, is open all day, serving Thai fusion cuisine. A must-try dish is the Tom Kha Gai (coconut soup with chicken) and sticky rice with mango. You should definitely try out various dishes as the chef prepares delicious meals with quality ingredients. The service is delightful. Enjoy your midday meal there!

For nighttime entertainment, I recommend heading to the Roof Top Bar, specifically the Halo Roof Top Bar. It’s a stylish and sophisticated bar blending rustic charm with cool modernity. They serve excellent drinks along with delicious snacks, which are satisfying yet not too heavy. They offer both Thai and international cuisine, providing a diverse dining experience.

Breakfast is also available at Chen’s Restaurant, with a complete lineup of dishes. Here, you’ll find a variety of options including Thai and Western cuisine, crispy fresh salads, assorted pastries, and an egg station where you can order eggs cooked to your preference such as scrambled, fried, omelette, or Benedict style.

I want to relax comfortably, so I’m thinking of trying out a spa. Mira Boutique offers a variety of services including Thai massage, oil massage, and nail services. Based on recommendations, I’m particularly interested in trying the oil massage. I heard they provide excellent massages. The spa atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

Other services include a kid’s club, and nearby, there’s also a pool table. Both kids and adults can have fun together.

GLOW Mira Karon Beach is another resort perfect for families or couples. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay with all the amenities you need at a reasonable price, then this is the place to be.
