“Banyan Tree Phuket” – 5-star luxury villa. This trip is the most enjoyable.

I would like to go once with a luxurious villa in Phuket, and now there’s a promotion even if it’s not available, you have to find time to experience it. At a price of just……… along with special privileges…………… This trip will take you to visit “Banyan Tree Phuket” with a focus on eating, sleeping, and taking lots of photos, making it a 5-star trip together.

“Lobby” is the signature spot where you can capture exceptionally beautiful photos at Banyan Tree Phuket.

On Sundays, the Watercourt Restaurant offers a Sunday Brunch, which we believe is the most worthwhile in the world at 2,200 baht net per person. While the price may seem high, the quality is premium. The brunch includes a variety of premium seafood such as shrimp, fish, and scallops, as well as imported lamb and beef steaks. There will also be a grill station offering a variety of dishes served dish by dish. The brunch is available from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

There is a wide selection of international cuisines available, including Thai, Japanese, Indian, and authentic Southern Thai dishes. We tried almost everything, and besides the excellent quality of the food, the taste was also incredibly delicious. Importantly, the service was exceptional. We hardly needed to get up to serve ourselves; many things were served directly to our table by the staff.

The hotel offers unlimited alcoholic beverage service where you can choose freely. You can opt for white wine, red wine, rosé, beer, or even the hotel’s own cocktail recipes.

And various cold cuts will be served directly at the table. A true 5-star buffet.

And finally, the table is filled with food.

The ultimate delight is this: sushi and Wagyu beef. They won’t be served at the table; you can order them from the a la carte menu through the staff.

Indulge in magnificent desserts, especially the delicious Thai sweets. Don’t miss out on the decadent chocolate cake as well.

Today, our accommodation is the Serenity Pool Villa, the newest renovated villa. It’s contemporarily decorated with subtle Thai elements, beautifully blending classic aesthetics. No matter how much time passes, we always find this interior style stunning, with its warm tones and relaxing ambiance. The space is divided thoughtfully for maximum comfort. It’s truly a very comfortable villa to stay in.

The resort offers paddle boarding activities for guests to enjoy, which can be played at the hotel’s pool.

Here, being a beachfront resort, it’s just a short walk across the road to reach the beach. It’s Bang Tao Beach, which tends to be quiet and peaceful.

Alternatively, you can also enjoy cycling around the resort. The resort offers a wide area, and since it has a golf course, bicycles are available right in front of the villa.

In the hot weather, it’s nice to have something cool for an evening snack. This homemade ice cream served poolside in a set is absolutely adorable. You can sit and enjoy it on the sun loungers by the pool. They will provide the sun lounger set for you.

Let’s continue our culinary trip! Dinner will be at Taihei Restaurant, a cozy dining venue by the poolside. It offers Asian fusion cuisine. Today’s special ingredients at the restaurant are premium selected Japanese rice, expertly prepared into exquisite dishes for us to try. The highlights include crispy rice crackers, rice cakes, followed by piping hot Paella, Risotto with squid ink, and salmon donburi. For those who love rice or pasta dishes, you’ll surely enjoy it a lot because the rice varieties are high-quality, chewy, and aromatic.

For dessert, we have fried bananas served with vanilla ice cream. I really love this dish! The fried bananas are served hot, and when paired with the cold texture of the ice cream, it creates a perfect harmony. The combination of the warm bananas and the cool ice cream blends together wonderfully. I highly recommend trying it! As for the mango sticky rice ice cream, it has a delicious flavor.

Waking up early, I indulged in a jacuzzi session in the villa, followed by a light breakfast served in a floating style, a.k.a. floating breakfast.

For the full breakfast experience, we must say that Banyan Tree Phuket truly excels with its lavish and exquisite breakfast. You can have breakfast here and be full for the entire day. The spread is truly extensive and delicious, with a wide variety of options, especially the abundant and fresh seafood. Personally, we are big fans of the breakfasts at Banyan Tree properties, whether it’s in Samui, Bangkok, or Phuket itself.

And here’s what we continued to indulge in after the floating breakfast. If that wasn’t enough, we headed to the main breakfast restaurant. And the menu we loved the most was already waiting for us on the table.

And here are two bowls of delicious crab meat dumplings in broth, absolutely divine! Besides that, there were also some delicious hot dishes like noodles, and the egg station. Other dishes were also delightful, such as stir-fried vegetables and stir-fried soy sauce noodles. This trip is definitely going to make me gain some weight!

For the facilities that everyone loves, it’s definitely the swimming pool, designed in a lagoon style. We must say, swimming here is incredibly enjoyable. The pool features its signature coconut tree right in the center, creating a tropical atmosphere amidst the lush garden and the hot cityscape.

In addition to the Serenity Pool Villa where we stayed, there’s another type of villa that I would like to recommend, especially suitable for romantic getaways. The Banyan Pool Villa offers a truly romantic and private atmosphere. The highlight of this room is undoubtedly the bathtub. We absolutely loved it, and of course, it’s a private villa with its own pool.

And before checking out, we’d like to have a light afternoon tea by the pool because we’ve fallen in love with Banyan Tree’s pastries. Even though it’s just a light tea set, it’s packed with goodies. There are tiny sandwiches, scones, and most importantly, the crème brûlée is absolutely delicious! It’s the star of the high tea set without a doubt. We’re truly impressed, and everyone who tried it agrees it’s the best crème brûlée they’ve ever tasted.

This trip is the most memorable one. It’s a trip where we indulged heavily and enjoyed every aspect of “Banyan Tree Phuket”. Its classic style impresses us every time we visit… truly remarkable.

Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa

The Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa” is a beautiful accommodation choice with plenty of picturesque photo spots and incredibly delicious food. We cannot stress enough how amazing it is! This Phuket trip for us is all about relaxation and comfort. We’re not looking for intense sightseeing; we just want a tranquil and serene stay. Being situated in the renowned White Sand Zone, known for its private beaches, the Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa perfectly meets our needs in this regard.

The Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa” is a luxurious 5-star resort located right along the shores of Mai Khao Beach. The resort features a long, stretched layout from the front lobby area all the way to the sea.

Anyone staying here must capture this angle: the lobby area designed to be spacious, cool, and refreshing with views of coconut trees and tropical vegetation. It’s designed to seamlessly blend luxury and accessibility to nature. The Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa has an iconic feature for us: the roof. The roof design is incredibly unique, resembling the shell of a turtle. It perfectly conveys the harmonious atmosphere of relaxation with nature.

Another highlight of this place is the Quan Spa. Anyone staying at the Renaissance Phuket must visit this spa and take a photo here. I guarantee you’ll get some stunning shots. The atmosphere inside the spa is serene and tranquil, with the soothing sounds of the wind and flowing water. It’s incredibly relaxing.

The accommodation options at the Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa include both rooms within the main building and villas. This is a Pool Villa, specifically a Garden View one, which stands out for its exceptionally private atmosphere.

The Lagoon View rooms are located in the building close to the lobby. This area features a highlight: the wooden bridge that stretches over the lagoon, allowing guests to stroll among tropical foliage.

Rooms in this building also include Deluxe Lagoon View accommodations.

Another room option is the Deluxe One Bedroom Suite. The mood and tone of decoration will be similar across the different room types, but the difference lies in the size and functionality of the room.

Sand Box Restaurant and Bar offers a cool and chic beachfront bar atmosphere. They’ve brought a tropical bar style right onto the sandy beach. You can enjoy refreshing drinks like fruit juices, beer, or cocktails while soaking up the breeze. You can either sip by the bar or order and enjoy your drinks by the poolside.

The resort’s swimming pool is located right by the beach, with Jacuzzis included. It’s conveniently situated close to the dining area and bar. Expect some hustle and bustle around the pool area. If you prefer a more private swimming experience, the pool villas are the perfect choice. Alternatively, you may want to swim in the morning when the crowd is thinner.

When you arrive at the Renaissance Phuket, one thing you shouldn’t miss is dining at the Ta-Kieng restaurant. The food here is so delicious that you won’t be able to resist. The Thai flavors are well-balanced, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and taste. The restaurant tends to be crowded, so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

You can order cocktails at the Sand Box and bring them up to the dining area because we’re having dinner here.

Hors d’oeuvre

Today I had the opportunity to try “Launaea sarmentosa”, a local vegetable dish for the first time. It’s a rare find and has a peculiar name, but it tastes absolutely delicious. It was stir-fried to perfection, crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Today’s meal was incredibly satisfying. The steamed fish with fresh lime was exquisite. The fish meat was tender and sweet, unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. And that’s all we had for today’s meal. Each dish was beautiful and delicious.

Waking up early to a refreshing breeze because there are many trees here. The air is cool and comfortable. This spot is near the lobby building and the dining area.

One of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve ever encountered in Phuket. The food lineup is extraordinary, offering a wide variety of dishes with delicious flavors. What’s more, they even have ice cream! And it’s not just one or two flavors; there are around ten flavors available. Just booking for breakfast alone is worth it.

Egg Station at the breakfast restaurant is highly recommended. I suggest trying the Egg Benedict. It’s excellently prepared and is the signature dish of the breakfast venue.

Another dish you must order is the pancakes.

For something lighter, you can opt for a salad along with freshly squeezed fruit juice. You can choose your favorite fruits and have them blended into a refreshing cold beverage.

While you’re dining, the chef will circulate with a signature recipe for grilled pork, serving each table with freshly grilled meat along with hot sticky rice.

It sounds like the most enjoyable breakfast experience ever! You’ll be full until midday for sure.

Travel to Khao Lak, surf at Memmory Beach, and stay at Hotel Gahn.

These days, Khao Lak is perfect for surfing enthusiasts. The windy waves attract surfers to hit the beach and Memory Beach is likely the most popular spot where surfers gather to catch waves. Moreover, this beach is incredibly wide and long, so even if you’re not surfing, you can still come to relax by the sea, sip a drink, and chill out. The sunset here is also one of the most beautiful sights in Khao Lak.

Our accommodation is at Hotel Gahn, a newly opened hotel just 10 minutes away from Memories Beach. It’s actually quite close, but the route from the main road to the beach is a bit winding and bumpy, so you can’t go too fast. However, the atmosphere along the way has its own charm. And here we are, at Hotel Gahn, our super cool accommodation for tonight.

Hotel Gahn is named after “กาล” which means time in Thai. Its exterior decoration stands out from the stylish entrance arches to the cozy interior that impresses us with warmth, charm, and accessibility. Here, it gathers stories and memories of the past era of Phang Nga and the Baba culture, conveyed through unique decorations and designs that evoke a nostalgic atmosphere. Whether it’s the large wooden table in the lobby or the curved doorway leading through the arches, the ambiance of Hotel Gahn reminds us of visiting elderly relatives and encountering a warm welcome.

The curved door arches are another standout feature of Hotel Gahn that we really admire.

Hotel Gahn is a compact accommodation with a modest number of rooms, but it provides sufficient amenities for a comfortable stay. Additionally, there is a swimming pool available, and it’s conveniently located close to the dining area.

You can come and relax with a cup of coffee. There are charming corners where you can sit and unwind.

Let’s take a look at your room! You’re staying in a Deluxe room with a bathtub, offering a comfortable and soft bed. Despite not being in a tall building, there’s an elevator available, making it very convenient for elderly guests.

Another room also features a bathtub and similar decoration. However, the layout differs slightly, with the bathtubs positioned in opposite corners. Therefore, the Deluxe with Bathtub rooms are separated into Type A and Type B.

Come on! When in Phang Nga, you must try the local cuisine, with delicious flavors crafted by the hotel owner’s expertise.

For breakfast, we have a nostalgic concept that we really love. It brings back memories of our childhood breakfasts, with dishes like grilled rice, congee, stir-fried noodles, and similar items.

The charm of Hotel Gahn evokes moments and fond memories, prompting us to reminisce about the good times and inviting us to keep on reminiscing.

“Yaang Come Village” – Comfortable Stay with Thai Lanna Style

Heading north to explore Chiang Mai, one must experience the serene beauty of “Yaang Come Village.” This accommodation, situated just a stone’s throw away from the city center, offers a luxurious interpretation of Thai Lanna style, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the essence of this unique culture. The resort’s concept, “Back to Basic for simple life,” recreates the living environment of Lanna people, showcasing traditional homes and dwellings. Nestled beneath the shade of large rubber trees, which serve as an emblem of the resort, and amidst well-maintained lush gardens, the accommodations offer a tranquil retreat. With just the first step into “Yaang Come Village,” guests are immediately captivated by the distinctive charm of this place.

“Yaang Come Village” greets visitors with a traditional Lanna-style lobby, nestled beneath the shade of ancient, grand rubber trees, providing a cool and comfortable ambiance. The lobby is adorned with vibrant colors and lamps, inspired by Lanna art, and is further decorated with seasonal embellishments or for special guests’ visits, reflecting the northern festive spirit.

Your staff members are beautifully dressed, in traditional Lanna-style attire. I would love to dress up in such gorgeous outfits. Do you provide rental services for these costumes for photoshoots within the resort?

Next to the lobby is the swimming pool, located right in the heart of the resort. The pool features a Jacuzzi zone as well, offering a complete relaxation experience.

“Yaang Come Village” offers accommodations that reflect the lifestyle of Lanna people through wall paintings. Each room features different artworks, and the decorative textiles complement the atmosphere beautifully. This is the Family Room, accommodating up to 4 guests with twin and double beds, making it a great value and comfortable option for families. It’s worth mentioning that this room is highly popular at the resort as it perfectly caters to family stays.

The Deluxe Room boasts exquisite details, starting from the high wooden ceiling with intricate designs reminiscent of ancient architecture. The luxurious bathroom features a separate bathtub and rain shower, offering a touch of elegance. What we particularly love is the wide, tall glass windows that stretch from floor to ceiling, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the lush greenery outside.

As for the starting room category, it would be the Superior Room. The decor is similar to the other room types, but these are the smallest in size, typically around 38 square meters, which is still spacious compared to the general standard of Superior rooms elsewhere. Although these rooms may not include a bathtub, they come with all the standard amenities and conveniences expected at Yaang Come, ensuring a comfortable stay.

For today, we are staying in the most beautiful room at the resort, the Junior Suite. Stepping into this room feels like stepping back in time to the ancient Northern Thai era. The bed is the highlight, incredibly comfortable and inviting. The room is spacious, with clear separation of functions, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. Importantly, the bathroom is also spacious and includes a Jacuzzi bathtub. This room has two balconies, perfect for lounging, reading a book, enjoying a cup of tea, or admiring the view while listening to the morning birdsong—a true slow life experience that is hard to find elsewhere. This is why Yaang Come Village is truly exceptional.

What I particularly like is the room key. It may be heavy to carry around, but it’s beautiful. It bears the imprint of a hornbill, which seems to be the symbol of the resort. Perhaps it’s because the resort draws inspiration from Lanna art, which is characteristic of the Twelve-Song District. This region seems to have hornbills as its emblem, as one can see images of hornbills scattered throughout the resort.

The restaurant at Yaang Come Village is absolutely delicious. Once you arrive, you can order without hesitation. They serve authentic Thai cuisine that truly satisfies the Thai palate. The restaurant is located near the swimming pool. I highly recommend the Tom Yum Goong; it’s so good that it will make you slurp. Also, the Yan Kam fried rice, which is the restaurant’s signature dish, is incredibly tasty. You must try both of these dishes.

The atmosphere at the resort during the evening is simply stunning.

The breakfast is served buffet-style.

This is so delicious! The homemade chocolate brownie, a specialty of Yan Kam Village, is incredible. It’s soft, light, not overly sweet, with a rich chocolate aroma. I could have several pieces of it!

I want to experience the charm of Chiang Mai, located in the heart of the city, surrounded by charming cafes, restaurants, Wat Phra Singh, and the old city area of Chiang Mai, close to the nightlife at Night Bazaar. I highly recommend “Yaang Come Village Chiang Mai”

Tranquil Corner of Pattaya with 5-Star Accommodation: InterContinental Pattaya Resort

Our exclusive accommodation today is the renowned luxury hotel brand ‘InterContinental Pattaya Resort,’ situated in the area of Khao Phra Tamnak. Despite its slightly secluded location, this is its selling point. Khao Phra Tamnak offers a stunning view of Pattaya, and the InterContinental Pattaya Resort maintains its reputation as a 5-star hotel that prioritizes privacy, service, and consistently impressive standards, making it a destination worth revisiting time and again.

Staying at the “InterContinental Pattaya Resort” for the ultimate experience, I highly recommend booking a Club room which includes Club Lounge Access. It’s incredibly worthwhile and enjoyable, let me tell you why. From the moment you check-in, you’ll receive personalized service. You can even check-in at the lounge itself. The lounge is delightful, with plenty of snacks and beverages available. It’s a fantastic way to start your stay.

With this Afternoon Tea set for two, you’ll get to choose your beverages from options like hot chocolate, iced coffee, or iced tea. It comes with a variety of sweet treats including crème brulee, cakes, sandwiches, scones, and more. Everything is delicious, including the Thai desserts. You’ll definitely feel satisfied with this set.

Oh, the ice cream is delicious!

Please provide a picture of the lobby. It’s open-air with a comfortable cool breeze and a view of the sea.

Our accommodation is the Club InterContinental Panoramic Ocean View Terrace Suite, spanning 77 square meters. It features a terrace pavilion for enjoying the sea view. This aspect exudes luxury and classic charm. Inside, the room is elegantly designed with warm tones, inviting for relaxation. The bed is incredibly soft and comfortable. There’s also a bathtub available, stocked with Harnn bath products including soaps and shampoos. The sink area is divided into his and her sections, making it convenient for couples to use together without crowding. Overall, it’s a cozy and romantic setup, allowing for simultaneous activities like face washing, tooth brushing, and hair drying without bumping elbows.

The rooms without Club Lounge access are also classic and equally popular. They are further categorized into subtypes such as Garden View, Sea View, or Pool Access. The decoration remains consistent across these types, with the main difference lying in the view. For instance, this particular room is classic with a sea view. Inside, it features a bathtub and a balcony for enjoying the view. The decor adheres to a classic style, well-known for its timeless elegance.

The facilities are extensive, indeed. For instance, there are multiple swimming pools available, providing guests with various options to enjoy.

The hotel doesn’t have its own beach, but it compensates for this by creating its own artificial beach. I must say, they’ve done a fantastic job! The sand is even finer and whiter than natural sand, making it incredibly inviting for guests to enjoy and play on.

The hotel boasts numerous photo spots, perfect for those who aren’t particularly keen on sunbathing or swimming but still want to have fun.

Or, you can head to the spa, which is absolutely fantastic! It’s incredibly relaxing and guaranteed to leave you feeling very happy.

For dinner, you don’t need to go far to find some excellent options. Infiniti Restaurant, located nearby, offers delicious dining options right at your fingertips.

The restaurant serves Italian fusion cuisine, and for your recommended menu, let’s start with the Spicy Seafood Broth. It’s a slightly spicy seafood soup served with garlic bread. Thai people would likely enjoy this dish as the broth is rich and flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy. It’s comforting and absolutely delicious.

This one is a highlight: Seared Sea Scallops. These scallops are incredibly sweet, succulent, and beautifully seared. They’re served with a sauce made from apple, miso, and a kale salad on the side. It’s a delightful combination of flavors and textures that you won’t want to miss.

There are actually two types of spaghetti available. One is Spaghetti with Clams, featuring fresh clams, while the other is Spaghetti with Garlic Chili Sauce and Crab Meat. These dishes cater to those who enjoy moderately spicy and flavorful food like yourself.

And here’s our favorite main dish: a Seafood Platter with everything fresh from the sea. The spicy dipping sauce complements the seafood perfectly. Typically, when ordering a Seafood Platter elsewhere, I usually avoid eating the seabass because it tends to taste fishy. However, here, I practically finish the entire plate by myself. The seabass tastes incredibly fresh, as if it were just caught. The shrimp, lobster, squid, and mussels are all equally fresh and delicious. But I have to say, the seabass here is top-notch!

During the evening cocktails from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, there will be a selection of snacks and alcoholic beverages served for you to enjoy.

The dining experience isn’t over yet! In the morning, you’ll be treated to a buffet-style breakfast at The Line, featuring a wide variety of international cuisines. The seating options include indoor and outdoor zones, with the outdoor area offering a lovely atmosphere and a view of the sea.

Ending our review with another round of food! This promotion is incredibly worthwhile. It’s a Thai lunch buffet priced at just 499 baht net per person, available every Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Elements restaurant. Don’t miss out on this great deal!

Khlong Wan is a very picturesque place. Stay at the ‘AT T Boutique Hotel’.

This accommodation is the most enjoyable in Khlong Wan, to the point where we have to come back again. ‘AT T Boutique Hotel’ is a lovely hotel with a tranquil atmosphere, located by the sea with mountain views. You can see the fish bridge. They also recharge your batteries every time you come.

Located in Tambon Khlong Wan, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, it’s about a 4-hour drive from Bangkok. For those who want to change the atmosphere from Hua Hin or Pranburi, try visiting Khlong Wan. You’ll have a peaceful day off with a simple charm unlike any other. Whether it’s the quiet community, cute little shops selling local goods, the sea, waves, wind, or sandy beaches, all without having to compete with anyone. Plus, ‘AT T Boutique Hotel’ provides bicycles for guests to ride around. Even a short ride to the fish bridge yields many beautiful photo opportunities.

Take a break before checking in, especially after a tiring journey. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a refreshing cold drink to rejuvenate. The logo of this place is a whale fin, which is incorporated into the resort’s decoration at various points.

This spot has such great airflow. This corner daybed is incredibly comfortable. The back faces a lush garden while the front overlooks the sea.

The highlight of ‘AT T Boutique Hotel’ is the Seaview Suite room. What makes it special is the bathtub on the balcony, offering unobstructed views. The bathtub is a large Jacuzzi that can accommodate up to 2 people.

The interior of the room is equally comfortable, with its spaciousness, brightness, and separate areas for lounging and relaxation. The bathroom and bed are meticulously arranged. It feels like staying in a private beachfront villa.

As for other room types, there is the Deluxe room, which is the entry-level option. With a room size of approximately 42 square meters, it is considered spacious for a Deluxe room. You can choose between twin beds or a double bed. The interior is themed similarly to the suite rooms.

The Family room is perfect for families as it features 1 large bed and 2 bunk beds for children.

Another thing that I love about AT T Boutique Hotel is the incredibly spacious balcony.

Evening atmosphere at AT T Boutique Hotel is so chill. The cool breeze is so comfortable. They’ve recently built a bridge that extends into the sea. Sitting by the bridge, enjoying the view, and listening to the sound of the waves bring utmost happiness.

Visiting Khlong Wan, you don’t need to search for dinner anywhere else. The best place is @T Terrace Restaurant and Bar. It has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and high-quality ingredients. The portions are generous too.

Evening atmosphere at the accommodation is…

Here, there’s a fitness center facing the sea. You can do some light exercises in the morning and then go for a swim afterward.

The breakfast here offers a variety of options including Thai, Chinese, and Western cuisines, along with pastries.

“AT T Boutique Hotel, a regular accommodation choice in Whale Canal, never fails to create wonderful memories every time you visit.

Love water, love mountains, love the city of Kanchanaburi. Come stay at the ‘Erachon Raft Resort’.

Explore Kanchanaburi, sleep by the river, and have the happiest time at the newly opened ‘Erachon Raft Resort’ located near the Erawan Waterfall. Conveniently situated right by the river, and to top it off, you can catch the morning mist. ‘Erachon Raft Resort’ offers accommodation in two zones: the raft zone and the building zone.

At ‘Erachon Raft Resort,’ you’ll be surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere filled with the tranquility of nature, allowing you to fully recharge. The modernly decorated accommodations in the building zone are complemented by a spacious swimming pool, designed to cater to family vacations, romantic getaways, and even elderly guests.

The accommodation also features an elevator for added convenience.

The River View Room located in the main building or the Standard Room both offer views of the river. The interior is decorated in clean and inviting white tones, with spacious balconies.

This room is the VIP Room. Its highlight is the large bathtub where you can soak while enjoying the view, making your stay truly delightful.

The view from the balcony of the room.

This room is the Pool Access room, allowing easy access to the swimming pool directly from the bottom floor.

Staying by the riverside is a dream for many travelers, isn’t it? We’re no exception! The accommodations in the river zone of this place are indeed very inviting, with beautiful views and a serene atmosphere.

In front of the room, there will be a mesh net porch where you can relax and enjoy the cool breeze. It’s very refreshing! Rooms in the river zone are the best spot to get close to the morning mist. In the early morning, you’ll see water vapor rising from the river.

Above, there is a grass-covered rooftop deck for chilling out and enjoying the view. There are also daybed chairs provided for your comfort.

At ‘Erachon Raft Resort,’ one of the most enjoyable activities is kayaking along the Erawan River. It’s a pity that during our visit the water may be murkier than expected due to the beginning of rain. However, if you wait a bit longer, perhaps until November, or December, the water will clear up to a deep greenish-blue tone. This is considered the highlight season at ‘Erachon Raft Resort’.

Luxurious like a million rice fields, RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai.

On this trip to Chiang Mai, we have a wonderful accommodation that we’d love to share with our friends because we enjoyed it so much. That is the “RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai,” a 5-star hotel that has been consecutively awarded by the Thailand Tourism Awards for 5 years. The hotel is situated along the Ping River, just 5 kilometers away from the airport, in the heart of Chiang Mai city. It is a resort filled with the rich history and intricate art of the Lanna culture, beautifully portraying the riverside way of life. With its contemporary luxury and 5-star service, our stay at the “RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai” was truly exceptional and special.

The lobby of the “Rati Lanna” is truly the epitome of grandeur, magnificence, and uniqueness. We particularly loved the “Gupchang” or the area that served as a shelter in ancient times, shielding individuals from the sun. The architect has ingeniously reimagined the ancient “Gupchang,” making it contemporary yet preserving its beauty in accordance with the Lanna style.

After completing the check-in process, before heading to the elevator to go to the rooms, you can pass by a replica of a Buddha statue from Myanmar. You can take a moment to pay homage for blessings before settling into your accommodation.

The atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing and serene. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the hotel’s Afternoon Tea Set, which I must say was delicious, especially the chocolate cake and eclairs. The afternoon tea set comes with a choice of tea flavors that you can select yourself, along with refreshing beverages. The high tea set is served directly at the Malin Pavilion, a tranquil pavilion facing the Ping River, designed with ventilation to let the cool breeze pass through, making it comfortably breezy all day long.

In the center of the Malin Pavilion, there is a “Bunyan Kunda” pot, which is considered by Lanna people to be a symbol of prosperity and well-being. It is used to welcome guests and visitors to the village or city, symbolizing blessings for prosperity and abundance.

The swimming pool at the RatiLanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai, is divided into zones for children and adults. Additionally, there are zones for jacuzzis and a pool bar, providing another chill-out spot within the hotel. Guests can enjoy swimming amidst lush gardens and relax on sun loungers while admiring the view of the Ping River.

Walking to see the pier is indeed a great idea. This spot is highly iconic, featuring ancient-style boats modeled after the “Maeng Jong” boats used in the Ping River basin. It reflects the ancient trading lifestyle by river transport or the use of Maeng Jong boats for travel to the ancient Lanna Kingdom. In the morning, the hotel arranges almsgiving activities for guests, symbolizing an offering to monks. This morning, we are prepared to wake up early to participate in offering alms to the monks.

The atmosphere around the hotel is filled with numerous picturesque spots, perfect for photography enthusiasts. Anyone who enjoys taking photos will definitely have a blast capturing moments here.

We really like this bar too. It’s cool without being too light.

The Mira Restaurant is an all-day dining restaurant offering both Thai fusion and international cuisine. It will be our dinner venue tonight. The restaurant boasts a romantic riverside atmosphere.

The meal you’ll be having will be a Western set, served starting from appetizers, followed by soup, then the main course, and finally dessert. We must say that the truffle soup is incredibly delicious, especially when paired with warm, freshly baked bread. We highly recommend trying it!

As for this dish, it’s a fusion cuisine: grilled shrimp salad served in a hollowed-out watermelon. It’s a creative dish that you must try!

Chilled beverages, perhaps?

The main dish is a large piece of salmon served with squid ink cream sauce. The salmon is both dense and fresh, while the creamy spaghetti complements it perfectly with its smooth texture.

Dessert-wise, you’re in for a treat with our mango mousse cheesecake. It’s a flavor you’ll definitely enjoy just as much!

Let’s take a look at the luxurious Riverside Garden Suite, a favorite among celebrity escapes and often used as a venue for magazine photo shoots. Every angle of this suite is stunning, with its expansive 232 square meters of space. It’s a large suite perfect for relaxation, complete with a private swimming pool, a luxurious jacuzzi, and a beautifully decorated living room featuring the iconic “Gupchang” element.

The Executive Suite boasts luxurious decor with signature Lanna textiles, showcasing the essence of luxury Lanna theme. What we particularly love about this room is its spacious balcony offering stunning views of the river. Additionally, it offers comprehensive amenities, such as a separate bedroom and living area, a dining table, a bathroom with separate bathtub and rain shower, as well as his and hers bathroom sinks. Moreover, there’s a work desk set up perfectly for both work and relaxation, allowing you to enjoy the view of the Ping River while working.

The Deluxe Riverside room, where you stayed, offers a similar view of the Ping River, but it’s more of a partial view, meaning you don’t get the full panoramic view of the river. However, you get to enjoy views of the swimming pool and lush greenery, which adds freshness to your experience. The interior is adorned with warm, luxurious tones, immersing you in the ambiance of the Lanna region. The room is beautifully decorated with various details that subtly incorporate the Lanna culture. Additionally, the room features a bathtub separate from the rain shower, providing you with a luxurious bathing experience.

This morning, we participated in offering alms to the monks at the waterfront. The hotel provided us with almsgiving sets for the occasion.

The breakfast at Rati Lanna Riverside Spa Resort is indeed another highlight of the stay. We appreciate the high quality and variety of food available, especially the inclusion of local dishes. We enjoyed dishes like “Kang Hang Lay” (Northern Thai pork curry) and stir-fried noodles, alongside Central Thai and Western options, all of which were equally delightful.

Just a suggestion, if you can wake up early, it would be great. You’ll get a chance to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view.

Before checking out, we decided to try the massage service at Rati Lanna Spa. They offer unique treatments including traditional Thai massage and gentle oil massages. The skilled massage therapists blend healing techniques and massage artistry, resulting in numerous awards such as the Aasen Spa Award and many accolades. The spa is located in a tranquil zone of the resort, surrounded by lush trees and simulated waterfall streams, creating a complete sensory experience with its sights, tastes, scents, and sounds.

For its location, Ratilanna Riverside Spa Resort, Chiang Mai, is situated right in the heart of Chiang Mai province. It’s convenient to travel to places like Warorot Market, Kad Luang, Night Bazaar, Wat Ket, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh, as well as popular chic cafes and restaurants. There’s so much to explore in this area that staying for less than a month might not be enough!

Relax and enjoy wine in the mountain lover’s style at ‘Merchant Villa’ Chiang Mai.

“It feels like stepping into a European castle!” That was our first impression upon arriving at “Merchant Villa,” a beautiful resort nestled amidst mountain views, located in the heart of Chiang Mai city. It’s absolutely spectacular, isn’t it? Convenient to travel to, you can easily stroll into the shopping haven of Nimmanhaemin Road or venture to explore Doi Suthep, take a walk down Walking Street, or visit various temples, all within a short half-hour journey.

The location of the resort is quite private. Upon entering, you’ll come across the charming café ‘Coffee or Me,’ located inside the hotel before reaching the lobby. The cozy atmosphere invites you to sit and relax. When we checked in, we received vouchers to exchange for welcome drinks at this café. We really loved it! It felt like staying at a hotel and getting to visit a café at the same time.

The lobby is located on the lower floor of the hotel building. It’s beautifully lit and decorated with vibrant colors. Stepping in, you instantly feel rejuvenated. The lobby also serves as the breakfast area, making it a refreshing start to the day.

Here, the building is surrounded by a tranquil garden featuring an English-style fountain at its center. You can enjoy the view from the lobby or take a stroll up the balcony to admire the beautiful garden. Listening to the soothing sound of the fountain adds to the serene ambiance.

Your room, the Merchant Villa Suite, is absolutely stunning. The bed looks incredibly soft and comfortable, and having a bathtub and all the necessary amenities makes it even more delightful.

The smallest room type available is the Superior Queen Bedroom, featuring a queen-sized bed within a spacious 24-square-meter area. Despite being labeled as the smallest, it’s still quite roomy, thanks to its well-organized layout. Guests can enjoy a comfortable stay with amenities similar to those in the Sweet or Deluxe rooms, albeit without a bathtub. The pricing is also very reasonable, especially during promotional periods, making it a highly recommended option.

Here, we offer a floating high tea set service. If you wish to book, please inform the counter in advance. You can arrange for the set to be served at the main pool area. The set comes with a variety of pastries and hot tea.

Indeed, the hotel has a very chill atmosphere. There are many picturesque spots perfect for taking photos.

Another fantastic spot that everyone enjoys for chilling out is the swimming pool.

“Merchant Villa” is a hub for high-quality wines from all around the world, brought right here for you. With excellent wines at special prices, you’re sure to find wines you’ll love. Every bottle of wine is meticulously stored here, ensuring top-notch quality.

The breakfast is absolutely delicious! I love it because there’s such a variety to choose from. Even though it’s a la carte, there’s something for everyone’s taste buds. From Southern-style dishes to ‘patongko’ (deep-fried dough sticks), fruits, orange juice, and most importantly, they offer Signature breakfast dishes from the North, such as ‘khao soi’ (curry noodle soup) and Northern-style omelets. It’s all so tasty and satisfying.
