During our visit, the weather wasn’t very cooperative, and the sea wasn’t as clear as it could be. However, on sunny days, the hotel staff mentioned that the scenery is exceptionally beautiful.

When the boat docks, there are staff members available to assist with carrying luggage to the lobby. As soon as you step off the boat, you can feel the pure air and breathe in the abundance of nature. The journey to the lobby reveals the large main swimming pool by the beach. This is the main swimming pool where guests often sunbathe and enjoy the view. Particularly in the late afternoon, you can witness a beautiful sunset right from the pool area. The pool is spacious, equipped with a water slide, and offers a relaxing sunbathing area.

The design of Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi combines classic and contemporary Thai elements, seamlessly blending with the surrounding nature. Another highlight is the professional service, with friendly staff welcoming guests. The Thai-style open-air lobby adds to the atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a scenic environment. The club lounge offers a private and relaxed atmosphere, with snacks, refreshments, and soft drinks available. During the evening happy hour, alcoholic beverages are also served.

It’s worth noting that there are monkey troops around, so it’s advisable not to feed them. Located directly facing the beach, this villa has its own private access to the secluded beach, just a short walk away. For an even more special experience, I recommend ordering the afternoon tea, which includes delicious treats such as cakes, small sandwiches, and Thai desserts. It’s a perfect way to enhance your stay and indulge in delightful flavors.

Coast, the signature restaurant of the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi, offers a chic and casual beach bar atmosphere located along the beachfront, providing stunning sea views. The menu features a delightful combination of Thai, Italian, and high-quality seafood dishes. One highly recommended option is the Seafood Platter, known for its freshness and delicious taste. I suggest everyone try it. Additionally, the menu includes must-try items such as ‘Mee Hoon Gung Kang,’ fried snapper with fish sauce, and Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup). The restaurant provides a diverse culinary experience with a beachside ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a memorable dining experience.

The area is surrounded by hills and green trees, with several natural waterfalls and mineral springs.

Upon arrival, you will encounter a welcoming and tranquil lobby that seamlessly blends with nature. Here, you can inform the staff about the programs you’d like to participate in. The hotel offers a variety of activities, with a highly recommended option being the full-day spa program or, at the very least, a half-day spa program. Another popular choice is the hot spring program, and for our visit, we opted for the half-day spa program.

This program includes skin exfoliation with the specially formulated scrub of Wareerak, gentle body-warming yoga, water yoga, herbal shoulder compress massage, soaking in the rejuvenating hot spring, and a healthy snack set. The entire experience takes approximately 3 hours. Before the program begins, there is a blood pressure check and a health questionnaire to ensure your well-being.

Today, we will be indulging in a program named “Ginnaree Raga,” inspired by the literary work of Phra Suthon and Nang Mano. The yoga poses have been adapted from the traditional dance of the Ginnaree, providing a delightful and engaging experience for all participants.

Additionally, the main swimming pool, a notable feature of the resort, is also situated here.

The atmosphere is great; I’d love to sit there for a while. I suggest trying a drink from Ocean Bar to enjoy while taking in the view. The bar is really cool, and every corner is perfect for beautiful photos. Just to clarify, this beach isn’t a sunset viewpoint, but during the late afternoon when the sun is shaded and the breeze is gentle, it’s a delightful place to relax.

After enjoying the breeze and the view, I continued my delightful experience by waiting for the sweetest hour at Karm Ku Cafe. At three in the afternoon, the Mövenpick chocolate hour arrived. The chocolate served was incredibly delicious and fragrant, presented with utmost care. Each piece of chocolate looked beautiful, and there were various options such as dark chocolate truffles, chocolate-covered fruits, marshmallows, or chocolate cookies. You could choose between hot and cold beverages, and all of this was complementary for guests staying at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin. This delightful chocolate experience lasted for 60 minutes.

For a hassle-free and convenient check-in experience, the lobby is conveniently located at the front of the hotel. The staff at the lobby welcomed and provided clear guidance about the hotel facilities. Following that, there is a shuttle service to transport guests directly to the villas, making the journey comfortable and convenient.

Today, our villa is called the Private Pool Villa King, nestled in a lush garden with a modest-sized swimming pool. The terrace is spacious, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. What we love most about the pool villa is the high level of privacy. It is intimate, secluded, and surrounded by greenery. The private accommodation is well-designed with separate sections for the bedroom, sitting area, dressing room, and bathroom. Various amenities are provided, and one of our favorites is the Nespresso coffee machine by the Movenpick brand – brewing aromatic and delightful coffee.

Floating breakfast is available for in-room dining, and you can arrange for it by notifying the lobby. They will serve it in your room at the specified time in the morning. The breakfast is not only delicious but also visually appealing, making it perfect for those who enjoy taking lots of photos.

There is another slightly smaller pool, mainly preferred by guests who enjoy a more intimate setting. However, the majority of guests tend to favor the main swimming pool. The guests who particularly enjoy the smaller pool are often those staying in the Deluxe Pool Access rooms.

There’s also a spacious sofa bed, and just a bit further, curtains can be drawn to reveal single bed-sized nooks, with a total of 4 beds prepared. The Glamping interior is uniquely adorned with carefully curated furniture, harmonizing with a camping theme. The decor features soothing color tones, and the materials used are all-natural, including wood, fabric, rattan, and leather.

The furniture decorations are incredibly chic, and there are even hats available for borrowing to add a playful touch to your photos. Inside the Glamping, the atmosphere flows smoothly, equipped with both air conditioning and air purifiers. The amenities include Twining tea, a coffee brewing machine with Nespresso capsules, a refrigerator, a television, and board games for everyone to enjoy. It’s bound to be a fun experience for many!

One of our favorite features is the expansive balcony that surrounds the Glamping, providing an opportunity to breathe in pure, unadulterated air to the fullest. The wide balcony allows for nearly a full-circle stroll, with various seating spots strategically placed. From a long wooden table for communal dining, to cozy corners for sipping coffee, or quietly observing nature from small stools. And if you’re feeling a bit tired, there’s always the option to retreat to the soft sofa for a well-deserved rest.

At Te Mata Glamping, everything is set up for your small party. There’s a barbecue grill, plates, and bowls, along with plenty of our favorite bottled water. Additionally, a complimentary mini-bar is provided, making your social gathering both enjoyable and private. It’s the perfect setup for a fun and intimate get-together.

Don’t miss the chance to soak in the warm water of the Jacuzzi surrounded by twinkling lights and starry skies. From the TE MATA ROYALE, you can catch a glimpse of the sunrise right from your bed. However, the view might be more of the sun’s glow than a perfectly round sun, possibly due to tree branches partially obstructing the sight. The sun usually becomes fully visible around six-ish in the morning.

For breakfast, you have the option to choose from Thai, Chinese, or Western cuisines. Upon check-in, the butler will deliver your chosen breakfast at the designated time as per your preference.

After finishing your meal, take a leisurely stroll through the beautifully maintained gardens. The well-kept lawn provides a perfect space for running and playing.

For your journey to Te Mata Glamping, the butler will provide a convenient GPS location, allowing you to drive directly to your accommodation. Parking is available in front of the house. The butler is ready to assist and there’s also a shuttle service to transport your luggage if needed.

Wang Nam Khiao is renowned as a world-class eco-tourism destination. The climate is comfortably cool throughout the year, with occasional drops to a minimum of 5 degrees Celsius in the coldest winter months. On this trip, we would like to experience the cool weather together—walking, exploring the land, gazing at the stars, and staying at a resort on the hilltop of Horse Saddle Plateau in Wang Nam Khiao District. Although we may not have reached the peak of winter during our visit, the temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius in the daytime. Our accommodation is designed in a homestay style, with individual houses built on a high hill offering panoramic views of the Horse Saddle Plateau. Each dwelling is strategically spaced apart, ensuring an uncrowded and immersive experience in the midst of the lush green mountains, extending as far as the eye can see.

The highlights of Dern Din Du Dao here are the beautiful mountain views and the closeness to nature. The sunset is stunning, offering multiple picturesque photo spots. The entrance to the small hill is easily accessible, suitable for small cars. The lobby is right in front, and after checking in, you can conveniently drive to park near your accommodation.
