Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, a destination of timeless elegance for those seeking a momentary escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. A day trip is an option, but spending a night enhances the experience. With just this, happiness is achieved. Therefore, our plan is to spend a day at this sharply designed riverside accommodation, Baan Pom Phet.

Baan Pom Phet elevates the iconic essence of Ayutthaya into a warmly welcoming accommodation and a standout dining experience. Transitioning from the historic Mon-style brick structures to modern craft architecture, it has become the ultimate Instagram spot, where many capture and share cool and chic photos on social media.

After passing through the purposefully constructed brick wall, upon entering, you’ll encounter a spacious dining room on the right. A terrace extends outwards, providing a view of a long flowing canal. Directly across, there is a picturesque view of Wat Phanan Choeng.

Escape the heat and step into a cool, air-conditioned environment at this contemporary establishment. The interior exudes a cozy and modern mood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger for a while.

The rooftop offers a breath of fresh air while enjoying the beautiful views on both banks of the river. The cool breeze and delightful atmosphere make it an exceptionally pleasant experience.

Our highlight for today is the accommodation zone. The lodgings at Baan Pom Phet are a harmonious blend of brickwork and wooden craftsmanship. The modern craft design is incredibly stylish, offering only 8 rooms to maintain exclusivity. These rooms are thoughtfully separated from the dining area, ensuring a private and intimate experience. The presence of large, beautifully formed trees adds a touch of tranquility.

Baan Pom Phet offers three room types, starting with the Deluxe River View. Situated on the upper floor of the two-story building, these rooms provide shade from the gracefully branching trees, casting a cool shadow. The 32-square-meter rooms are functionally designed, featuring a view of the river. Decorated with warm and soothing yellow tones, the emphasis is on creating a soft and cozy ambiance. The key highlight is the exceptionally comfortable bed.

The Deluxe River View and Pool View rooms feature a refreshing green color scheme inspired by the lush pandanus leaves, allowing cool breezes from the towering trees. Simultaneously, guests can enjoy views of the Chao Phraya River. The highlight of these rooms is the spacious terrace that opens up to the garden under the shade of the trees. The bathroom is designed with an open concept, providing a unique bathing experience with a tub for a refreshing soak. At the same time, a rain shower is also available for added convenience.

The Deluxe River View Room and Fortress View Room offer panoramic views of the entire Baan Pom Phet area through wide windows, allowing guests to indulge in the pleasure of lounging on the bed while enjoying the scenic Chao Phraya River views.

It’s a tough request, but Kundala Beach Resort fits the bill perfectly. With its adorable charm, intricate resort decor details, and an unbeatable location right by the sea, it’s a lovely place. Absolutely love it!

A beachfront accommodation just as you desire! You can walk to Khao Takiab, and the beach in this area is perfect for swimming. It’s on the sunrise side of the sea, so those who wake up early can enjoy the sunrise, perhaps even participate in a morning almsgiving ceremony. It’s an ideal spot for your seaside getaway!

Another impressive highlight at Kundala Beach Resort Hua Hin that has captured our attention is the rooms. Each room stands out with unique and beautifully designed interiors, enticing us to come back for more. Every visit, we find ourselves drawn to experience different room types. One standout is the Signature Sky Pool Suite, a duplex-style accommodation with a transparent-bottomed pool perched above the living area. As we lounge in the living room, looking up at the ceiling, we are treated to the mesmerizing sight of the sky-blue pool, creating an atmosphere akin to being in a luxurious, contemporary atrium.

The Lower Beachfront with Hot Jacuzzi is a room that offers an unparalleled closeness to the sea. With a pool right by the shore, guests can enjoy a refreshing dip while basking in the beach atmosphere. In the morning, the room provides a stunning view of the sunrise directly from the bedroom, creating a picturesque start to the day.

The Private Onsen Pool Suite is designed for those who appreciate privacy, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a private villa. The room seamlessly connects to a spacious terrace with a private pool. From the bed, it’s just a few steps to the pool, allowing for a quick and refreshing plunge. The suite features a full range of amenities, including a minibar, and a separate sitting area distinct from the bedroom.

The Two Bedroom Kundala Residence is an ideal choice for a family retreat. The underwater structure adds an aesthetic touch to the overall beauty of the pool. The restaurant, styled in a Nautical theme, offers picturesque views throughout the day and night. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening, each time brings a unique vibe. They serve a blend of Thai and fusion cuisine and provide bakery and afternoon tea services. It’s a delightful place to enjoy at any time of the day.

Our dinner menu focuses on Thai-style seafood. Using fresh ingredients that seem to have just been plucked from the sea, the rich and flavorful taste appeals to us, especially the dipping sauce.

The breakfast section is of exceptional quality. It not only tastes delicious but also presents beautifully in a wonderful atmosphere. Enjoying the meal with a view of the sea, breathing in the fresh air, is a truly pure experience. They offer both buffet and à la carte options.
