Nestled against the mountains, breathe in the fresh air to your heart’s content at Te Mata Glamping, Khao Yai.

Hidden amidst lush greenery and stunning mountain views, Te Mata Glamping offers warm and heartwarming family villas that make you want to return again and again. The Hilltop Residence lives up to its name, providing impressive high-angle views. The standalone villa offers a private, homely atmosphere. Even better is the top-notch service, ensuring a fully relaxing stay with top-level facilities, perfect for quality time relaxation.

Hilltop Residence is a villa that retreats from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by lush trees. Getting here is easy because the lovely butler will send GPS coordinates and a route map after the booking is confirmed. They take great care of you from start to finish. One of the charming features of Te Mata Glamping is that you can check in directly at the villa. There is ample parking, and the villa is fenced off for privacy. The villa itself has 2 bedrooms and 3 floors, including a rooftop, accommodating up to 4 guests. I personally think it is perfect for a family getaway. Upon entering, there is a living room, a kitchen, and a spacious balcony.

I was very impressed with the balcony. It is spacious and shady, perfect for sitting, eating meals, enjoying snacks, or reading books. We made full use of the entire balcony. The air is fresh, and you can hear birds singing and see squirrels scurrying around. There’s even a barbecue grill.

The kitchen is equipped for simple cooking, with everything you need for a long stay. There are plates, bowls, spoons, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The minibar in the refrigerator is fully stocked and free of charge.

On the lower floor, there is one bedroom. This setup is perfect for families with two children or those traveling with companions. There is also a bathroom on the lower floor.

Let’s move on to the upper floor. The upper floor features the master bedroom, where you can request a baby cot. We brought a little one along and were very impressed. The bed is soft and cozy, perfect for the baby to sleep comfortably. The master bed is also very comfortable, and the view is fantastic, which our whole family loved.

The bathroom is a place where you’d want to spend at least 3 hours. You can soak in the tub, enjoy the view, exfoliate, apply face masks, and pamper yourself.

The little detail that completely surprised us was the fragrance. At Te Mata, the air is filled with delightful scents that create a wonderful atmosphere. The home diffuser, pillow mist, bath salts, soap, shampoo, and lotion all smell amazing. They are so pleasant that you’ll want to take them home with you.

The rooftop is accessible via a spiral staircase. As soon as you reach the top, you’ll be amazed by the unobstructed view. This is the true 180-degree mountain view. The rooftop features a relaxing pavilion and a Jacuzzi.

This evening, we had our favorite shabu by the balcony. The ambiance was perfect, and the taste was excellent. It was delicious! I highly recommend the black broth shabu, which is served with tender pork, fresh vegetables, eggs, and tofu. Everything was fresh and clean—it was really great.

Te Mata provided marshmallows for roasting along with cookies, and they served it with hot tea. It’s perfect to enjoy as the weather starts to cool down a bit.

To end the meal, we had dessert. The strawberry pudding was so delicious that even if we were full, we had to finish it. The other dessert was chewy grass jelly.

Breakfast was served with fresh air, presented as a set. Each set was so plentiful that we thought we might not finish it, but we did! The food was of high quality, with excellent ingredients and delicious flavors. Everyone was happy.

It’s kid-friendly, so children can enjoy it too.
