Kwai River.. Uniquely romantic @ Vorona Resort, Kanchanaburi.

Our relaxation journey for this trip begins with a desire to change the scenery, heading towards the mountains, rivers, and perhaps catching a glimpse of waterfalls. Due to multiple beach trips in the past, this thought leads us to a simple and relaxing day amidst lush greenery, surrounded by our own private villa at Vorona Resort, Kanchanaburi.

Vorona Resort, Kanchanaburi rejuvenates us from exhaustion as soon as we arrive. Starting from the refreshing atmosphere of the towering trees providing shade, the pristine white color of the lobby welcomes us, and the intricate details of the charming decorations make us want to explore every corner of this delightful resort.

Our accommodation is a Riverside Cottage, situated right at the forefront by the river. The circular white villa amidst the trees provides a private retreat immersed in nature. Besides lounging by the riverside, one thing we particularly enjoy is the outdoor rain shower. It’s incredibly refreshing.

The resort is characterized by a long stretch along the riverbank. Our villa is located at the very end, so a short walk brings us to the Kwai River. In the early morning when the water level recedes, sandbanks like these emerge.

The atmosphere surrounding the resort.

The swimming pool is compact yet stylish, not overly extravagant.

I’d say there are plenty of chic photo spots around here.

Vanilla Sweet Restaurant is the dining venue here. Don’t miss out! Their food is incredibly delicious, featuring homemade dishes served dish after dish. Eating there feels warm and cozy, just like having a meal from home.

For the other accommodations, they are all villas as well. The main difference lies in the view. For example, the Vorona Cottage features a hammock for lounging just like this one. The highlight of these rear villas is their tranquility, surrounded by trees and conveniently located near various resort facilities. They are close to both the dining area and the swimming pool.

We really love the Vorona Room as well. It’s so charming and cozy. It’s a 50-square-meter villa with a private garden, which we adore.

The breakfast is simple yet heartwarming. The rice porridge is exceptionally delicious, and we particularly love the crispy and sweet cantaloupe. It’s a delightful touch that these products are locally sourced from Kanchanaburi province itself.

Staying at Vorona Resort, Kanchanaburi, you can spend the whole day at the resort without getting bored at all. Immerse yourself in nature to the fullest and wait until check out before heading elsewhere. Enjoy your time!
