Banrimkwae Paerimnam Resort nestled along the curve of the Kwai River ♥, the most beautiful place in Kanchanaburi city.
The resort with the clearest view of the Death Railway track mentioned is none other than “Banrimkwae Paerimnam Resort” right here.
If your friends are looking for a unique resort with plenty of activities and want to feel that their holiday is truly worthwhile and offers the best value for money, then they should definitely consider staying here.
Traveling to “Banrimkwae Paerimnam Resort” from Bangkok, it is recommended to take either the Phetkasem Road or follow the Ratchadamri Road through Nakhon Chai Si, Nakhon Pathom, Ban Pong, Tha Maka, and Tha Muang until you reach Kanchanaburi province, totaling a distance of 129 kilometers. Then, take the route via Sangchuto Road towards Sai Yok District, approximately another 50 kilometers. With that said, let’s get going!
The highlight of this place is indeed the Death Railway itself. Every morning, tourists come here to capture the ambiance and scenery.
The lush atmosphere, surrounded by various types of trees, provides a refreshing and visually pleasing experience at the resort.
At the lobby check-in point, you’ll be greeted by staff ready to welcome you as soon as you walk in.
The parking lot is spacious and convenient. When you drive in, you’ll easily spot the resort’s facade right in front of you.
The first room is the “Pae Chongkho” suite, designed with air conditioning and decorated in a warm and cozy style. The ambiance makes you feel like you’re sleeping underwater, with a soothing blue ceiling that ensures a comfortable sleep.
Inside the room, there are up to 3 beds available, making it perfect for groups. You don’t have to worry about sleeping arrangements because there’s plenty of space for everyone.
There’s complimentary coffee available, and if you feel like ordering food, there’s a menu to choose from. You can also place your order by phone, and the prices are reasonable.
Outside the room, by the riverside, you can sit and enjoy the relaxing view as the sun sets. You can admire the railway track in front of you while sipping on a morning coffee or enjoying a light drink in the evening, creating a truly delightful experience.
There are two resident geese in each room to greet guests, adding a small but charming touch to the resort’s hospitality.
Continuing with the Family Deluxe room, this accommodation is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere.
If you come with a large family, you’ll find plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements in the spacious room.
There’s a sofa provided for you to sit and enjoy the view outside the room, where you can see the railway track running alongside the mountains, creating a truly serene atmosphere.
There’s a cute little corner provided for you to either do your makeup or simply relax and unwind in the room.
The bathroom is exceptionally clean with a hot water shower and fully equipped amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay.
And another room that we would like to introduce is the GROUP SUPERIOR room, which can accommodate up to 10 people. It’s perfect for coming together as an office or a group of friends, colleagues, or university classmates. It’s definitely a comfortable and convenient option.
The room size is just right, offering utmost comfort. However, be mindful of the people sleeping nearby; let’s avoid snoring disturbances! *chuckles*
No need to worry about bathroom queues; this room comes with two bathrooms!
Continuing with one of the highlights of this resort, the “Wet Pier Cruise” activity is a must-try. It’s safe to say that the pier will be bustling with people, making it another activity you shouldn’t miss out on.
Alternatively, for those who prefer not to participate in the Wet Pier Cruise, the resort also offers boat rides along the wet pier. You can take photos and capture the ambiance while enjoying the ride.
After the Wet Pier Cruise activity concludes, the resort prepares dinner for everyone.
Mr. Art, the owner of the resort, even sings for the customers himself, setting a trendy trend.
Dinner is served buffet-style with unlimited servings. Enjoy your meal while listening to music and chilling out. Sounds relaxing, doesn’t it?
Pad Thai is indeed delicious! It’s the highlight. I’ve had several plates. The atmosphere by the riverside, cool breeze, and soft music—it’s just wonderful.
Eat until you’re satisfied; don’t rush anywhere. The resort still has the Light and Sound activity, which narrates the history of the Death Railway. It’s a fully immersive experience with lights and sounds.
Or, if you’re into photography, there are cool photo spots available for some fun and enjoyable social media uploads. They’re located next to the stage itself.
Let’s continue with breakfast. It’s buffet-style, just like before.
I have to say, walking into the dining room is a feast for the eyes! There’s an abundance of food, both savory and sweet dishes.
Fried rice with pork, ham, sausage, and sunny-side-up eggs, along with a hot cup of coffee, in such a lovely atmosphere—it’s a refreshing morning indeed.
