Pattaya Feel: Island-Connected Travel – Hours of enchantment await on the private beach of The Monttra Pattaya.

Let’s go island hopping in Pattaya! You read it correctly. Pattaya offers a vibe that feels like being on an island, almost like having your own private island experience. At ‘The Monttra Pattaya,’ you’ll realize the atmosphere is almost like an unseen exotic paradise. How is Pattaya like, you may wonder?

“The Monttra Pattaya” is situated in the quiet and serene area of South Pattaya, right by the sea. It boasts a beachfront for relaxation and fun. Moreover, the sea here is clean and exceptionally beautiful.

The highlight that makes us fall in love is the infinity pool where the water’s edge meets the sky’s horizon. Just dipping into the pool and perching on its edge while admiring the view of the nearby islands is already incredibly exhilarating.

There are so many trees here, it’s incredibly lush and refreshing. From drone footage, you can observe that this place is an oasis in the middle of Pattaya city. Outside, there are tall buildings and bustling traffic, but once you enter here, it’s serene and tranquil, perfect for real relaxation.

Lounging to admire the view, I recommend coming at sunset. This spot is another incredibly beautiful location.

Another impressive and unique experience during your leisure day is the welcome drink and afternoon snacks. Let’s start with the welcome drink. Lemongrass and lemongrass-infused water, with a refreshing touch of lime, are served with fresh fruits. It’s worth mentioning that lemongrass is the signature fruit of the resort. If you enjoy it, you’re in for a treat every time you visit.

From 14:00 to 17:00 at the Kiin restaurant, they serve afternoon snacks along with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The menu varies each day. For example, on the day you visited, they served marinated grilled chicken skewers without the need for dipping sauce, along with assorted Thai desserts such as “Moo Hong” (braised pork belly) and sticky rice with mango. As for the Häagen-Dazs, you could choose between having it served on a stick or in a cup.

Let’s take a look at the accommodations. The rooms at “The Monttra Pattaya” are designed to emphasize natural elements, seamlessly blending into the surrounding landscape with large trees that provide shade and a cool atmosphere. Additionally, the decor materials are predominantly sourced from nature. Among the rooms, the Canopy Plunge Pool Suite is the most coveted. It’s a villa-style accommodation that perfectly balances comfort and integration with nature. The suite features a small plunge pool on the balcony, where guests can relax and enjoy the serene sea views.

For skincare products, every room at “The Monttra Pattaya” utilizes L’Occitane, a renowned brand from France. This includes shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, body wash, and hand lotion.

Every room at “The Monttra Pattaya” offers complimentary minibar access, including alcoholic beverages, except for the Garden Suite which does not include alcoholic beverages.

Nespresso coffee is available with a selection of up to 25 flavors, and it’s complimentary as well.

The next room is the Sea Breeze Suite, which features a wooden floor and a raised platform. It includes a small private garden and offers a sea view.

And this is the Garden Suite, which serves as the entry-level option. It’s located in a two-story building nestled amidst nature, providing views of lush gardens.

After a tiring journey, why not try the spa? It’s rejuvenating and relaxing. The spa at “The Monttra Pattaya” focuses on simplicity and closeness to nature, from the pathways leading to the treatment rooms.

The spa, also known as the Jungle Gazobo, offers a touch of serenity with its bamboo curtains, creating a tranquil atmosphere amid the garden. Rest assured, privacy is ensured during your treatment sessions as the room will be locked throughout your appointment.

The treatment starts with a foot cleansing ritual, followed by an aromatherapy massage. You can choose your preferred scent, and the Eucalyptus massage is highly recommended. It focuses on specific points, providing deep relaxation and relieving fatigue.

Don’t miss the highlight hour, sunset. Unfortunately, during our stay, the sky wasn’t clear, but the atmosphere remained incredibly romantic. If the sky had been clear, witnessing the large sun about to disappear beyond the horizon would have made it a million-dollar view. Having a cocktail in hand would have added even more enjoyment to the experience.

Don’t need to go anywhere when it’s dark, just chill at Kiin restaurant. It’s an all-day dining restaurant that stands out with its authentic Thai flavors and dishes that are quite hard to find. The restaurant overlooks the sea and is close to the swimming pool. When evening falls, the colorful lights come on, creating a beautiful ambiance. I recommend sitting outside.

Our menu for today.

Let’s start with our first menu item, “Crab Fried Rice.” Although it’s a simple and classic dish, it’s so popular that it often runs out before anything else. What makes it outstanding is that the fried rice is dry-cooked, not oily, with a hint of wok aroma. I highly recommend ordering this dish.

Golden Seafood Salad stands out with its large, fresh seafood pieces.

Salted Stir-Fried Giant Shrimp features large shrimp cooked to perfection with a rounded, succulent texture.

Yellow Curry with Mackerel and Sweet Potatoes  The curry is best enjoyed with crispy fried roti, creating a perfect harmony of flavors.

We’re not done talking about deliciousness yet because there’s one more concept at “The Monttra Pattaya” that we’d like you to know about, and that’s the highlight of their breakfast. Let me tell you, it’s absolutely fantastic! It’s an à la carte menu, freshly prepared and served continuously from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. You can order as much as you like, and each dish is exceptionally delicious. Let’s take a look at what we ordered for breakfast this morning!

For the Sawasdee menu, we have freshly made omelette, served alongside clear soup. The omelette is made to order, so it’s always fresh and delightful. The soup is so delicious that you’ll want another bowl. However, you might want to try another dish as well, so let’s start with one plate for now.

“Ohayo” dish is grilled salmon served with miso soup. It comes with sautéed mushrooms, vegetables, and rice. The salmon is incredibly fresh, and the sautéed mushrooms are delicious.

If you want to try something Western-style, then the “Good Morning” set is perfect. It includes sunny-side-up eggs in crispy pancake batter, filled with a generous amount of cheese, bacon, sausage, and spinach. It’s served with baked beans, which is another dish that’s absolutely delightful.

To complement your meal, you can enjoy unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s worth emphasizing that it’s made with fresh oranges, without added sugar or water, which makes it exceptionally good. Additionally, you’ll also have the option of watermelon juice and pineapple juice.

They also offer a grill buffet line where you can grill your own food. They provide fruits, yogurt, salad, and bread to complement your meal.

They also offer a variety of Thai fruits, including mangosteen, which is a signature fruit of the resort. If you enjoy mangosteen, you’ve come to the right place! You’ll notice that Thai fruits like mangosteen are incorporated into many dishes throughout the meals.

Before checking out and heading home, the staff at the resort, who were exceptionally kind, were worried that we might get hungry during our journey. So, they packed a small snack for us to take along. Why are they so adorable like this?

If you’re looking for a place surrounded by nature, with a private beach, quiet and romantic ambiance, and excellent service with plenty of benefits, then “The Monttra Pattaya” is probably the only place for you.
