Traveling to Chiang Mai on a tight budget, this trip promises to be delightful at ‘Pung-Waan Resort & Spa’

Are you looking for accommodation within the city of Kanchanaburi? If you’re looking for a hotel that’s by the river, with spacious gardens and large swimming pools, including Jacuzzis, at an affordable price, then this has to be it – “Pung-Waan Resort & Spa.”

Many people love Pung-Waan Resort & Spa because it has a large swimming pool right by the river Kwai. We agree that this is a highlight! It’s definitely a family-friendly accommodation where you can bring your kids to enjoy swimming.

The atmosphere is cozy, with a serene ambiance. There are viewpoints overlooking the River Kwai and waterfalls visible from the lobby.

The River Kwai flows right through the resort. This spot serves as a perfect location for us to take photos with the river view.

The rooms are designed in a building style and come in various types for you to choose from, starting from Superior rooms with garden views.

There is a café that sells Italian sodas along with other beverages. The taste is good, and the prices are generally reasonable, even though it’s sold in a hotel. The flavor is universally appealing.

Anyone who loves to indulge in local and jungle cuisine must try it in Kanchanaburi. This is the ultimate destination for such delicacies. Dishes like wild chicken curry served in these traditional bowls are intensely flavorful. They are served at the riverside restaurant which boasts a lovely atmosphere with views of the swimming pool and the river.

In addition, they also offer signature dishes such as “Nam Prik Long Ruea” (spicy chili paste served on a boat).

The riverside restaurant also serves a breakfast buffet with a reasonable selection of food items. It includes bread, Thai dishes, salads, American breakfast, and fruits.

On Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, there’s a pedestrian street in the city called “Pak Phraek Walking Street.” It’s a delightful place to stroll with plenty of snacks and finger foods to enjoy. After filling up in the restaurants, you can wander around and indulge in various treats.
