Explore Chiang Mai to the fullest, then stay at ‘Stay with Nimman Chiang Mai’

💗 Nimmanhemin is the hippest area in Chiang Mai. If you want to experience Chiang Mai in a hipster style, this is the place to go. The streets are filled with cafes, restaurants, and shopping spots, each with its own unique charm that captures the essence of Chiang Mai. Walking down these lanes is an absolute delight. If you’ve decided to stay in this neighborhood,

Hotelandresortthailand has a recommendation for you: “Stay with Nimman Chiang Mai.” This newly established accommodation boasts a fantastic location. Even without a car, exploring Nimmanhemin is convenient. Whether you want to visit Doi Suthep, Mae Rim, or just stroll along the pedestrian street, there are red songthaews passing by all day. You can easily hail one according to your preference (starting at 30 Baht, but prices may vary depending on the distance, so it’s advisable to negotiate). And if you have a car, there’s convenient parking available as well.

For design, it needs to be described as sleek, modern, and affordable, starting from 2+++ Baht depending on the day. I like the creativity of the lobby, blending Chiang Mai’s traditional craftsmanship with modern touches. Incorporating northern Thai lamps or tapestries that evoke a sense of Chiang Mai’s culture and craftsmanship would be ideal.

Let’s take a look at the room first. The room we’ll be staying in is a Studio Room, sized at 26 square meters, which is just right for 2 people.

Since you’re coming with a friend and prefer separate beds, I recommend the Superior Room. This room type comes with 2 beds and ranges in size from 22 to 25 square meters. It’s a great starting option for your stay.

Now that we’ve stored our belongings, let’s explore the hotel a bit. This is a city hotel with 2 buildings. There’s a swimming pool located on the rooftop of both buildings. One building has a lobby on the ground floor, while the other serves as a restaurant and café. The swimming pool is considered a highlight, offering stunning views through the glass panels.

There’s also a Jacuzzi available.

Perfect for watching the sunset.

Staying in the Nimman area, how can you miss out on cafes? Also, at this point, let’s vote for “The Butterfly Connection,” the hotel’s own café, which is considered quite spacious compared to many others in the area. It’s airy and expansive inside, perfect for relaxing on a leisurely day.

You can order both savory and sweet items here. Let’s start with the dessert menu for this afternoon.

There are many delicious cakes available that you haven’t tried yet.

And also aromatic lattes made from high-quality coffee beans.

If you’re into tangy and refreshing beverages, then I’d recommend this one.

As the evening falls and you crave for a cool breeze while enjoying the atmosphere, I invite you to the very top of the hotel, to our rooftop bar. Here, you can sip on some chilled drinks at affordable prices.

Another popular service here that often gets fully booked is our spa. Due to its reasonable prices, excellent service, and pleasant atmosphere, it’s advisable to make a reservation in advance. One of the favorite treatments is the gold mask, known for its skin-nourishing properties and anti-aging effects.

The breakfast area you enjoy is the Southern Kitchen, known for its delicious rice porridge and pastries. It’s indeed very tasty!

To end your stay on a happy note before checking out, why not visit “The Butterfly Connection” restaurant once more and try their signature dishes? One dish that you particularly enjoyed was the imported beef steak. The ribeye cut was beautifully grilled to perfection, with a rich and flavorful gravy that made it absolutely delicious.

This one is also exceptional! The ruby fish in three flavors is remarkable. You don’t even need to debone it yourself because they’ve already filleted it into large pieces. It’s perfectly balanced in taste with sweet, sour, and a hint of spiciness.

If you’re looking for something extraordinary, you should definitely try their braised beef noodles. Once you taste it, you’ll be hooked. The broth is rich and aromatic with spices, and it pairs perfectly with the tender and flavorful beef. It’s a must-try for beef lovers!

Eating “yatahn yaak” (traditional Thai herbal medicine) with horse feed (a traditional Thai dish) is my first time. The taste is slightly sour and it’s said to help relieve heat.

Easy-to-like menu items that everyone enjoys include pineapple fried rice, pizza, and the Stay with Nimman Sandwich.

To end on a sweet note with traditional Thai desserts, we have crispy ruby fish and mango sticky rice. Starting with the mango sticky rice, it’s flavored with fragrant coconut milk. The sticky rice has a nice chewiness, as the coconut milk isn’t overly sweet. This allows the delicate sweet and sour flavor of the mango to shine through when you take a bite.

Crispy rubies with soft sweetness of vanilla ice cream, topped with coconut milk, is a must-try.
