This winter, Chiang Mai is a fun place to visit. You’ll sleep so comfortably you won’t want to go home at “Wintree City Resort”.

Who’s planning a trip to Chiang Mai? Raise your hand! Reading this review might get you some awesome tips for a fun trip! First of all, after booking your tickets, it’s time to choose a hotel. There are plenty of hotels in Chiang Mai, so we narrowed down our options a bit. We wanted a mid-range accommodation, something new, located in the heart of the city, beautifully decorated, and Instagram-worthy. Finally, we found exactly what we were looking for at “Wintree City Resort.” It’s just perfect in every way!

If you’re traveling, it’s better to rent a car now as the prices are cheap. Once you’ve picked up the car and it’s not yet time to check in, you can explore nearby attractions first. You can grab a bite at Maya Shopping Mall and then take a stroll around One Nimman.

When it was time to check in, the accommodation we chose happened to be in the same area as Maya Shopping Mall, which was very convenient. The hotel was absolutely charming, decorated in white and blue tones, very modern. The lobby was cozy, and we couldn’t resist stopping by the café.

The Duplex Suite Room, where we stayed, was incredibly spacious. The lower level featured a living area with direct access to the swimming pool. As for the upper level, it comprised the bedroom, complete with a bathtub and a balcony. The room was beautifully decorated, truly luxurious.

It’s a common thing for bubble tea enthusiasts to seek out bubble tea cafes wherever they go, and we were lucky to stumble upon Nakama Cafe, which serves incredibly delicious bubble tea. Personally, I find it tastier than many of the famous bubble tea chains in Bangkok. Plus, the prices are reasonable. Nakama Cafe is a small Japanese-themed cafe that has been around since before it officially opened.

Here is a route that makes it easy to visit Mae Rim, so I decided to make a stop there. Mae Rim offers attractions like strawberry fields and waterfalls.

During the period of floating lanterns, which creates a haze, we had the lights on throughout the night. The fields were beautifully adorned with Lanna-style lanterns. From around 6 p.m. until 3 a.m., there was an unlimited beer promotion at 399 baht per person, with complimentary snacks or one BBQ dish.

The breakfast here is delicious, and I must say, the rooms are very comfortable. There’s plenty of breakfast options, making the stay here really worth it.

As for amenities, there’s a swimming pool and a fitness center available.

On Sundays, Tha Pae Walking Street never fails to retain its classic charm, no matter how many times you visit.
