Pattaya in a tranquil corner, watching the sunset by the sea, Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya.
This trip review of my stay in Pattaya this time offers a different feel from previous ones. It’s a relaxing getaway without any rush, as the sea is right in front of you and the swimming pool is right beside it. Delicious dining options surround you at Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya, located along Jomtien Beach with a small road separating the hotel from the beach.
The accommodation is decorated in a contemporary style blended with chic Chinese elements, using tones of elegant grey, brown, and white. The lobby will be located on the 1st floor of the accommodation building, which will serve as both a restaurant and a café.
The room we stayed in is the Marine Bedroom Suite, which is divided into separate areas including a sitting area, dining table, and a work desk. The bedroom is also separated, and the bathroom comes with a bathtub and rain shower. The size of the room is approximately 70 square meters.
The Marine Presidential Suite, sized at 126 square meters, comes with 2 bedrooms, making it suitable for families. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a bathtub and offers a sea view directly from the bed. The second bedroom has twin beds with a similar sea view. This suite also includes a spacious living area and a dining table. It’s the highest tier accommodation type at Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya.
The entry-level room type of the hotel is the Superior room, which comes with a balcony. Guests can choose between a king-size bed or twin beds. The room size is compact at 30 square meters, but it is fully equipped with standard hotel amenities.
A highlight not to be missed is the evening around 6 o’clock, where you can witness the sunset directly from the hotel. We chose to sit at the Street Bar, selecting a front-facing table to enjoy the sunset view. Street Bar serves street food-style dishes with a creative twist, elevating ordinary favorites into extraordinary culinary experiences.
It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breeze. Apart from the front seating area, there is also a back area with tables by the poolside, offering another delightful ambiance.
The combination of Parma Ham with melon is a delightful fusion that works exceptionally well. I highly recommend this dish. Additionally, the salmon and grilled ribs are also must-try options.
In the morning, just about 100 meters from the front of the hotel, there’s a small morning market. The highlight is the fresh seafood directly from the boats that have just returned from fishing. They will park the boats right by the football field for you to buy directly from the shore. It’s like serving fresh catches straight from the sea onto the shore. Definitely worth buying as it’s extremely fresh.
Even though there are tempting pastries and a variety of foods available, we cannot resist sticking to the hotel’s breakfast. We’ve secretly peeked and found many appetizing options. The breakfast quality is exceptional, especially the fresh seafood like steamed seabass with lime, which is so delicious that we couldn’t resist asking for more. The fresh vegetables and tasty pastries are also delightful. As for coffee, you can choose between cappuccino, latte, or opt for tea.
Staying for just one night, it’s more relaxing to find a café to hang out by the sea. From Marina Beach Hotel Pattaya, Sattahip is about half an hour away. Sattahip Beach is something we really enjoy because of its tranquility and unique character. It’s untouched and has its own natural charm, with the sea boasting beautiful colors. The café we visited, Manga & Hubba, can be easily located via GPS. Upon arrival, there’s parking available, and you can call the café to come pick you up. They have cute little cars to pick up their customers.
The atmosphere of the café is shady, with beautiful sea views. I ordered a drip coffee to drink. It was so refreshing!
The food was delicious! The yellow curry with seabass was as spicy and flavorful as if I had eaten it in the south. And the pizza was tasty too!
