Ayutthaya trip: Paying homage to the sacred sites, strolling through the floating market, exploring cafes, and staying overnight at The Cavalli Casa Resort.
Once a year, it’s essential to plan a trip to Ayutthaya, to pay respects at the temples, admire the ancient city, indulge in boat noodles, and stop by cute cafes. Such a short trip can recharge your energy in no time. Although Ayutthaya isn’t too far, the journey there and back can be tiring. Thus, finding a good accommodation close to tourist attractions at an affordable price is a smart idea. For this trip, we decided to stay at The Cavalli Casa Resort, a newly opened accommodation just 10 minutes away from the city center. Whether it’s visiting temples, enjoying grilled prawns, or buying silk scarves, everything is within a 10-minute reach.
The Cavalli Casa Resort, located on a vast 35-acre property, boasts 120 rooms. The resort is divided into two buildings, Building A and Building B. It offers new accommodation options for those who prefer staying in freshly decorated rooms with clean, new beddings. The lobby for check-in is located in Building A, and as you drive in, it will be on your right-hand side. There’s ample parking space available, possibly due to the hotel hosting events, meetings, and seminars regularly.
The most beautiful room at the resort, which also comes at an attractive price (price stated at the end of the review), is decorated in a contemporary style. It features a sophisticated navy blue color scheme complemented by soothing white accents, creating a clean and relaxing ambiance. The room is perfect for unwinding and getting a good night’s sleep. It offers all standard amenities, and the spacious bathroom includes a bathtub. Additionally, the private balcony provides views of passing trains, as the resort is located near the Ban Ma Railway Station. Train schedules are available at intervals, allowing guests to enjoy distant views of trains passing by.
